Obscura, unsurprisingly, still sounds like Obscura, which makes sense, in spite of three members leaving, two of the people that stepped in were former members. Obsidious meanwhile, sounds like the more proggy aspects of Obscura, taken to the next level, and with clean vocals.

Not a big Gundam guy, but that looks really cool. Love how even the back of the motherboard has something.

Games You've Beat 2021 - PXoD's Excellent Adventure

Control Holy cow this was awesome! Love the secret agency that deals with the paranormal kind of stories, and this delivered. Gameplay was fun and the powers were pretty cool. Story is pretty neat, I enjoyed that there's enough mystery to keep you asking questions about the FBC and surrounding characters while still being pretty clear on what's going on in the main storyline. Of course it also has some pretty cool moments, and some pretty ridiculous ones too. The AWE DLC was neat, and it probably means I should actually finish Alan Wake at some point. Biggest complaint is that some of the coolest boss fights are found in side quests, main mission bosses are just the same dudes with more HP, for the most part. -

E3 Predictions 2021 - Digital Deluxe Edition

Replaced looks kinda cool, I like that art style. Forza Horizon 5 looks fun too, but other than that, Elden Ring and STALKER 2 have been the only highlights for me, and even then, STALKER 2 wasn't a new thing. Hoping Nintendo has some cool stuff to show. -
HELL YEAH!!! January 21, 2022.

Election day, and it has, well... It's gone about as expected given the way things are, shootings, ambushes, more shootings, severed heads, cars full of money supposedly to buy votes, so on. Thankfully I was able to vote without issues.

Best track of the new album, and I'm not just saying it because it's based on one of my favourite movies. \m/ \m/

Finished the game for a third time, preparing weapons and recipes for Hardcore/Village of Shadows, and I'm kinda disappointed in some of the weapons, mostly the STAKE and Wolfsbane, I would have hoped the Wolfsbane to be the best weapon, given it's name and that it's the coolest looking of them all, but the STAKE outclasses it completely once fully upgraded. I also miss infinite the infinite ammo approach of RE4, where you could just hold the trigger and go to town, none of this having to reload every once in a while thing.

Games You've Beat 2021 - PXoD's Excellent Adventure

Resident Evil Village In-game timer says 8 hours and 20 minutes, Steam timer says 13 hours. HOLY SHIT THIS WAS AWESOME. Favourite RE game since 4, though still not at the same level, this just needs a bit more cheese to be perfect. Still, it was really fun, the different areas, with their unique approach and style, the bosses, everything was pretty cool. HELL YEAH! My GOTY so far. \m/ \m/ -

FWIW Steam tracks 7 hours and I'd say based on the map I'm about halfway through. Unless the rest of the game is pretty short, which I guess is a possibility. -

Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle That last boss sure was something, a couple of the boss fights are kind of annoying due to the lack of checkpoints and how you can't heal characters that have been knocked out, but that last one sure takes the cake. In the end, Rabbid Peach and Rabbid Luigi were the key to victory, though it took a fair amount of time. Other than that, a pretty fun game, the combination of the Mario world and art, with the Rabbid humour was cool, the start feels kinda slow, it takes a while to get enough coins to buy better weapons for your team, but after a while it picks up and you can easily outfit most of the team without having to grind for too long. Luigi shines in this one, dude's an expert sniper with his reaction shots, watching him just obliterate enemies was really fun. This was the best part:
