I would have liked to see that stuff translated, precisely because of how normal it is, that and Tadano's "dark past" would have been fun, but it's not big enough to bother me. Specially because everything else was awesome, all I could want and more, looking forward to the rest. \m/ \m/

LMAO, remember when Obsidius was all like "what if Obscura had clean vocals?" and now Obscura is like "What if Obscura had clean vocals?" Sounds pretty good though, a nice change from Devoured Usurper which was all heavy and brutal.

Alan Wake's American Nightmare A fun, short, action-oriented spin-off, completed it in about 4 hours, less if you count the time spent watching TV in-game. I was a bit worried at first since combat wasn't the best part of the original, but it turns out they did re-balance things a fair bit, Alan no longer has the stamina of a 150 year old asthmatic with lung cancer that just ran a marathon, so you can sprint and dodge more and more often than before. There are a lot more weapons and they're more fun to use, specially the combat shotgun, only downside is, you have to collect manuscript pages to unlock them, though the levels are small enough that this isn't too big of an issue, also they're marked on your mini-map so it's even easier to find them. The best part though, you no longer start from scratch each level, you actually keep your inventory, that was cool. Story was fun, presented as an episode of the Night Springs tv show seen on the original AW, not really meant to be canon, specially after the events of the AWE DLC for Control, but still, a cool what-if kinda thing. It also has some RE4 level of cheese in some scenes.

What if spot was packing a 6.5mm sniper rifle? According to the Ghost Robotics site: "(Our robots) are unstoppable, with the ability to get back right back up from any slip, fall or failure..." That's going to be fun. My favourite response: "yall saw 2 blade runners, a westworld show and movie , 10 terminator movies 2 Battlestar Galactica shows, irobot and still thought this was a good idea"

Alan Wake + The Signal DLC + The Writer DLC Holds up pretty damn well all things considered, really makes me wish for a remake instead of a remaster. Main gripe is the combat, specially when fighting multiple enemies, it can get annoying quickly. Died a bunch of times to encounters with enemies that would just pop out from behind me and then BAM! Toast. Dodging can be quite wonky at times too. That said, the story and the rest of the game make up for it, specially that one METAL part, that was awesome, more of that please. According to Steam, the last time I played was sometime in 2013, so that took a while. I remember something happened that made me jump out of my chair, quit the game and then... Never play again, surprisingly, this time around I didn't find it to be that scary, quite on the action side actually. The DLCs were fun, super short, about 1 hour(ish) each, I feel like having played the AWE DLC for Control made my opinion of them better, don't know what my thoughts would be on the story if I had played these first.

Metroid Dread HOLY COW.... I thought I'd be playing a Metroid game, turns out I'm playing a horror game. I'm jumpy like a pogo stick, so that's probably why, but still Thankfully the game loads pretty fast, otherwise all these deaths would be quite annoying.

Is there a way to check if an email was properly sent? Sent an email with outlook (the website, not the client) and it gave me an error, said try again later, but if I check on the sent items folder, it appears normally, as any other sent email. Been a while with no reply but I also don't want to resend just yet, specially if the first one did go through. Kinda late to do anything about it other than wait though, this is going to be at the back of my head all weekend.

LMAO We may be about to outlaw solar panels. ??? Round 2 of AMLO and his cult trying to pass their electric reform, with one of the main points being the elimination of self-sufficiency, meaning stores, corporations and even homes that use solar, wind or other forms of energy generation would have to get rid of them and rely only on CFE. There's other stuff, mostly the same old, "neoliberal concepts like regulatory agencies, clean energy and a reliable electric grid are evil and should be removed". There's a lot of pressure on PRI as they're the ones that could tilt the balance either way and the president has already warned that he will "expose" those who vote against him. ???

After the announcement that it was getting an anime I started reading the Komi Can't Communicate manga and... BEST MANGA EVER*.
