FFVIIR is on the PS+ games for March, however you won't be able to upgrade that version when the PS5 update hits. https://blog.playstation.com/2021/02/26/playstation-plus-games-for-march-final-fantasy-vii-remake-maquette-remnant-from-the-ashes-and-farpoint/

A remaster would be fun, IMO it still looks kinda good, so a patch to the current version would work, but a complete remaster/remake would be cool. Comparing Bloodborne on PS4 with the Demon's Souls remake... I'd say for these games it IS worth a full blown remake, though I doubt they would do it. Bloodborne doesn't look as bad as Demon's Souls on PS3, but even with that, the difference between BB on PS4 and DS for PS5 is enough that I wouldn't mind if they went that route.

Pretty fun, looks like they're going back to the Carolus Rex style and theme, sounds cool so far. HELL YEAH! \m/ \m/

This looks cool, and a nice mix of airflow and looks, other airflow oriented cases look... Not good, IMO, this one is a nice balance. Next thing, I'm looking at extra fans, if I do end up going for this case, it includes 2, but I'd like to swap those/add more. Part of me wants to go with RGB everything, Corsair LLs or something, part of me wants to go with something like the Noctua NF-S12, my HAF-X has 2 led fans, but these are the old style, with a solid colour, I do like how they look but do wish you could change the colour, one is red, the other one is blue. I know Noctua is mainly known for silent fans, but noise isn't that much of an issue to me. Customization would be nice, but the NF-S12 also seem to perform better. What do y'all use? Now that the GPU has been secured, it's time to get the rest of the thing, let's see how it goes.

Yeah, I'd assume Biden and his team wouldn't be too happy with something like that happening so close to home, how they'll deal with it though...

Fear of a coup in 2024 grows, as the president continues to hand even more power to the army, destroying/removing/closing any civilian agencies he doesn't agree with, and the secretary of defence pledging the army's "undying loyalty" to the president and his cause.

Now that I got confirmation email and tracking number, I can safely say that this monster has been acquired. After hunting for months, signing up for notifications that never arrived, or arrived too late, and avoiding scalpers and scalper-bait (people selling pictures of a card, not the card itself), DDTech finally had a couple in stock, without thinking twice I nabbed this one, I believe the other one was an EVGA FTW3. Super low stock, only 2 of each, and by the time I had bought this one, the others were gone. Got worried that it might not have gone through properly, or that bots had been faster, but today I got confirmation that it's on its way. \m/ \m/ Would've preferred (and it would have made more sense) a 3080, but hey, after saving for 10+ years for a PC upgrade, and given the current situation, I didn't want to miss this and end up waiting several months again. DDTech is also one of the few stores actually respecting MSRP (Mexican MSRP... MMSRP? ) there's PCEL who are selling a couple of 3080s for $4500 (yes, that's dollars) each, TodoCheap which had a 3090 for $4000 and DECME who had MSRP but their stock banished in seconds. So yeah, that was fun. Now to hopefully to NOT do this again 10 years from now. Also hoping that there are no issues with shipping, I know things are taking longer than usual, no problem with that, just hope that it arrives safely.

Resident Evil 0 HD Remaster Kinda fun, I enjoyed being able to switch between Billy and Rebecca, their interactions are pretty neat , the story was cool, seeing more of the events that led to RE, and how the virus was released, the story behind Wesker, the origins of Umbrella, all that stuff. Billy hasn't been in any game since, but I'd like to think he's still around. That being said, the inventory management is hell, there's a ton of stuff to pick up, and without item boxes the only option is to look for a room with many doors, some place you're likely to pass through a bunch of times, move all your key items there, then make progress, find another room like that, move everything there, repeat as necessary. Worst part is there are certain items that will be needed later on, and if you forget to move those, you're in for quite the journey. In particular, a key item you get at the start, that uses 2 inventory slots, and that's needed a bunch of times later on. It also feels harder in certain ways, there are more enemies, a bunch of ambushes, and enemies that are faster/stronger or that can be a pain if you don't have the right weapon with you at the time. Having a teammate might seem like it makes things easier, but in reality it's just one more person to try and keep alive, and they can go through ammo quite fast if you're not careful. All in all though, I had fun, though not one I'd want to replay immediately, unlike RE1. -

https://www.publimetro.com.mx/mx/destacado-tv/2021/02/18/ya-chole-amlo-dice-desconfiar-acusaciones-felix-salgado.html The president, defending Felix Salgado Macedonio, MORENA candidate for governor in Guerrero, after at least five women have come forward accusing him of assault, first part of his "trial" was conducted in secrecy, in front of a group of MORENA officials, and without allowing the victims or their lawyers to be there. They called themselves the "most feminist party ever" yeah, that's going well so far ain't it?

I never found the sweetspot. Kept trying to use the kerosene, but it kept telling me "there's no need to use this right now". -

Resident Evil HD Remastered This was fun, the new controls make it EASY, how easy? I didn't die, though it was close in that part where you're carrying the fuel cell, mostly because I was using a controller, and moving the stick in a direction causes you to auto sprint, and sprinting for too long causes you to go boom. Being able to move freely makes evading enemies a simple thing, and though crimson heads sort of even the odds, it's still quite the OP mechanic, personally, I liked it. First run was with Chris in his BSAA outfit, which was fun, expected him to start punching boulders, but that didn't happen. Managed to clear it in under 5 hours in my second run with Jill, but missed the 3 hour mark by about an hour or so, tempted to do another run, but probably move on to other games for now. One thing that did happen and I didn't realize it until I was writing this: I completely forgot about the map for the second floor, never got it, but did have the wooden mount, never remembered what it was for until this moment, that was two playthroughs without using that thing. An issue I did have though, I was never able to burn a zombie, I don't know if there's a specific position, or if I had to combine the fuel with the lighter in a specific way, or maybe you have to wait (or not wait) for a while before burning them? Tried burning crimson heads, but that didn't work either, flame rounds for the grenade launcher didn't work either, so that's a thing. A pretty cool update, and a fun revisit to the original, which I remember being scary as hell, from the start when you get that scene of Chris(?) getting chomped by a zombie dog, before the title screen, this time around, specially after playing 7, not that scary, but still quite fun. Onto RE0 HD, which is going to be a thing, because unlike this one, where I did remember certain things, where to get certain items and stuff (even so, I got lost a bunch of times), I don't remember anything about 0, so that's going to be fun. -
OK, this actually looks really cool, in a cheesy, metal sort of way. \m/ \m/

1/Black was the best. 2 was much more simple and not as good but still pretty fun IMO, 3 was a MESS slightly fixed with the Razor's Edge version. The Sigma versions were all over the place, with the Sigma+ versions, made for the Vita being improvements over the base Sigma stuff. iirc Sigma removed the blood and gore, a bunch of cutscenes and some puzzles but added playable Rachel, which some people didn't like, but I thought it was OK, the + version added back the blood and gore, but the rest remained mostly the same. So yeah, in a way, the only good GOOD one is 1/Black, 2 isn't bad and 3 is just kinda nice to have. UNLESS they're going off of the base Sigma versions... That could be an issue...

HELL YEAH!!! \m/ \m/ I mean, it looks like we're pretending Black never happened... But still, HELL YEAH!!!

"The bourgeois complaining about the sun, the amount of people, that they're on the streets and they don't like waiting... ... Welcome to your first contact with public health, with the people. You don't need a credit card to enjoy health." So says a candidate from MORENA in response to people raising complaints about the conditions in which the government has begun vaccinating people, keep in mind, they're starting only with 60+ year old people, and this is the conditions they find themselves in: Wait times of over 7 hours, on the street, under the sun, without bathrooms, without any help, street vendors approaching them to sell whatever, need a bathroom but want to keep your spot on the line? Better hope you have friends or family with you that can hold it for you. But as you can see, these are all bourgeois who deserve to suffer, for they are enemies of the 4T, evil villains who have enjoyed a life of privilege and who don't know what it's like to be poor. Look at that street! It's practically paved with gold and diamonds! Of course, we had a pretty decent system in place, not only for vaccinations, but also for transporting the damn things, it used to work, and while it did have some issues, those were the kind of issues that by solving them, you'd improve life for EVERYONE, but as we all know, that was part of the evil neoliberal conspiracy benefitting only the bourgeois who live in small poor isolated communities without access to private hospitals and personalised care, so it had to be destroyed for the benefit of the 4T. I guess their idea of equality is, "Why improve things for everyone, when you can just fuck everything for everyone?" Except of course, rich people can still afford to get private, personalised treatments in the best hospitals, and some have even resorted to travelling to other countries in order to get vaccinated there. So in the end, it's poor people that'll get fucked the hardest, and they'll like it and ask for more, because the president and his people keep reminding them that all evil comes from the neoliberal PRIAN that should never be allowed back in power, that only MORENA can save them. Incidentally, a candidate from MORENA had people going around giving these little slips telling you that if you voted for him, he would guarantee your vaccine so...

Our president, the man who claimed that "honesty, integrity and not being corrupt" were the best ways to protect yourself from COVID caught COVID... And of course, now that he's out of it, he claims that usage of facemasks is pointless, because he's not "contagious". The punchline being that in his first conference since he got sick, he went on one of his usual tirades: "I'm making a dictionary of neoliberal words, yeah, I talked to the leaders of G20 and there were several words that caught my attention, like resilience, anyone knows what that means?" *Several journalists raise their hands* "Yeah no... I mean, the people out there, what does it mean? Resilience? It's a new word I hadn't heard about, there's also this other word they like to use... Uh.... Empathy! Yeah that's right, because there's sympathy, and there's antipathy, so there must be something called empathy right?" So yeah, for our president, empathy is a neoliberal buzzword, explains a lot actually.

Started playing RE HD, man, I DON'T REMEMBER ANYTHING about this game, so far I've spent an hour wandering around after getting the sword key, the fact that some things have changed or moved around compared to the original on PS1 doesn't help, that it's been several years since I've played it ain't making things easier either. It's fun to be back in this type of RE game though, that's cool.

Finished. There's a bunch of things that could look better, but after some attempts, they seem to fall in that "out of my current skill-level" category, some day... Maybe. A quick variation I did, some last minute stuff. Not counting the hours spent staring at the abyss and doubting myself, this took about 20-25 hours, counting those it's almost double that. Edit: Well, that was a dumb from me. Didn't notice and didn't think about it, but my glasses have that blue screen filter coating on them, so... Took a quick look without them and it's way too light, everything looked darker with glasses on, so I thought it looked good, glasses off... Not so much. Fuck me, something I'll have to take into account next time I get new glasses. Which should be soon(ish) I've had these for about 2 years now.

Resident Evil 7 This was a roller coaster, starts out super scary and creepy, gets a bit more actiony later on, then there's another creepy sequence, then back to action. It's a cool game, not sure how it feels as a Resident Evil game, but as an action horror it's pretty good. Resident Evil 7: Not A Hero A super short DLC that happens after the events of 7, a much more straightforward FPS game, little in terms of horror IMO. Biggest issue is that CAPCOM can't seem to decide on a look for Chris. Counting the DLC it took me about 8 hours to complete the full thing, kinda want to start a new playthrough, using some of the unlockable stuff you get. -
Skull was kinda meh, this one sounds pretty cool though. \m/ \m/
