If you plan on drawing on the go, or spend a lot of time out and about then I'd say go for the S6, I got this one because I found it for cheap (relatively speaking ), and I spend most of my time in front of my PC.

Huion Kamvas Pro 13. Going all out on this drawing thing, see how it goes. After getting it and placing it next to my H420... This thing is MASSIVE. I now need a bigger desk.

Got greeted by this when I logged in today, pretty fun, Yostar/Yongshi/Manjuu know how to do an anniversary celebration right. \m/ \m/

Missed out on the Monster Musume shirts, so I wasn't going to let that happen again.

\m/ \m/ Also: Switch version was on sale, I have it on PS4, but that's in digital format, now this can sit next to the special edition of Fate Extella. \m/ \m/ -
Got some real Dark Souls vibes from that intro, and the gameplay reminded me of Ninja Gaiden, so yeah, I'm in. \m/ \m/

Ghost Recon Breakpoint Man this game... This game! Compared to when it released it has improved a bunch, in particular, the Ghost Experience stuff added a ton of customisation, you can select different difficulties for enemies, and for survival, change hud size and elements, subtitle size and background, etc. Want giant subtitles but no hud? Sure! Permanent hud and no subtitles? Yeah, here it is. Want enemies that are blind and deaf, but you'll run out of stamina in an instant, and just falling down a ledge kills you? Go for it! Maybe enemies that are omniscient, but you have infinite stamina and bandages? Hell, why not! And everything in between. Most important of all, at least in terms of how much it affects gameplay, you can now turn off gear score and tiered loot. So now an M4 is just and M4, whereas originally it a green M4 was worse than a blue M4 unless it's level was higher, but the purple M4 was better than either. This makes the game much more fun, and gives you the freedom to select a mission appropriate loadout, or pick whatever you like the most, as opposed to always having to change to whatever the best gear you have is. Unfortunately, it also highlights the fact that the game is balanced around tiered loot and gear score. Specially when the Wolves are involved, they're meant to be the elite enemies that hunt you down if detected, highly trained and equipped with state of the art weapons... Except that only matters when gear score is on. They're a threat because they're usually 10-15 levels above you, making it extremely difficult to kill them, with no gear score they're just normal enemies with fancy looking weapons. Levelling up and unlocking skills is also somewhat meaningless without gear score on, there are some things that are still helpful, like increased stamina, more healing items, more ammo, etc, but others, like unlocking better loot tiers in the shop, are useless. Still, that it's much more fun without all that stuff on just shows how pointless it was to add all that in the first place. Storywise... Boy, where do I start. There's a ton of different stories this game is trying to tell, and it ends up not telling you anything, you have Walker, with his Big Boss approach to creating a world for soldiers, except he only cares about American soldiers. You have Skell and his desire to create a better world with technology, while at the same time being open to developing weaponized drones. You have the AI that spits names of people, predicting who is more likely to cause some kind of global crisis if killed and marking them for death. There's that CIA dude that's working with the other dude, who's working with someone in the shadows, who has some kind of interest in drone technology and betrayed the Ghosts. The whole Wonderland thing, that seems to imply there's way more Wolf bases around the world. So much stuff that just gets a passing mention, or gets talked only once during a mission, or simply falls flat because they couldn't pick one story and develop it properly, instead telling tiny chunks of all these different plotlines and then sort of forgetting them. There's that bit about project Deus, and the nature of transhumanism, and whether "The Future Must Be Human" is a worthy ideal, even if to uphold it one must murder innocents. THERE'S SO MUCH STUFF, and a lot of it could make for it's own game/expansion. But it always fails to capitalise on any of this stuff. Even at the end, there's this implication of But that's it! That's the end! And the first expansion seems to ignore it. Speaking of the expansion, I didn't play it, only the first mission, which is available for free. Main issue being that buying the season pass would cost more than triple what I paid for the game, and the only thing I care about is the mission set, all of the other stuff the season pass offers has already been unlocked or it's cosmetic stuff I don't want. If you wanted to buy the expansion alone? Good luck, because you can't just buy it, you need to buy it using Ghost Coins, and of course, the damn thing costs 1900 Ghost Coins but it's impossible to buy 1900 Ghost Coins, you need to do some math and figure out which packs will get you what you need. That also ends up costing way more than what I paid for the game, so unless it goes on sale, and I mean SALE, I don't see myself playing it any time soon. So yeah TL;DR: Game has improved a ton since launch, and while I had fun with it, unless you're a hardcore, diehard fan of the Ghost Recon series, I wouldn't recommend it. The Terminator stuff was fun though!

HELL YEAH!

Don't know much about this, other than it looks like a Souls game, but they're using Rotting Christ music for their trailers, so that's cool. \m/ \m/

Officially, that's still the president's stance on it, though seemingly it only applies to specific cartels, like CJNG, Del Golfo and maybe a couple of others. There's some rumours going around, obviously take these with a grain of salt, though we've seen worse in the past: They're going for a Sicario approach, where they take down smaller cartels, trying to consolidate power in one or two big groups to make it easier to keep track/control of things. The groups that are receiving preferential treatment had involvement in the campaign to get AMLO elected, and/or have supported him directly/indirectly in the past. 1 Hasn't worked in the past, usually when the leader of a cartel gets brought down, what happens is that whatever's left over splinters into smaller groups, and violence increases while they fight over whatever's left from their old one. 2 Wouldn't surprise me, it's not that rare for certain candidates to get kidnapped and/or killed during elections, and former sicarios have confirmed they will support certain candidates, whoever promises to let them do as they please while going after the opposing groups gets their support, whoever doesn't want to play ball gets killed. Of course there's also: 3. Other people are actually doing their job, ignoring whatever the president wants. Which IMO, is a bit too optimistic, but also a possibility.

El Marro, leader of Santa Rosa de Lima has been arrested. Captured in the middle of the night. Though there's still a chance his people will try their own Culiacanaso, it's also true that before this, they hit them hard in terms of closing income sources, freezing accounts, seizing assets, etc. So they may not have the strength and money to coordinate something like that.

Finished watching the Kandagawa Jet Girls anime, life and hometown* for days! Still, it's a fun series to watch, YMMV and all, but I liked it a fair bit, the CG during the races looks better than expected, and the relationship between Misa and Rin is adorable. More importantly, it's just a happy series, there's no evil force behind the scenes, no shady characters pulling the strings, none of that, it's just happy, which is just what I needed. \m/ \m/ There's some light sports drama, but nothing too heavy. *In case you didn't know, that's how the producer/creator of Senran Kagura and Kandagawa Jet Girls, refers to T&A.

https://www.eff.org/deeplinks/2020/07/legal-deep-dive-mexicos-disastrous-new-copyright-law EFF Takes a look at the new copyright law passed here. Not good, not good at all, which we already knew, but now they're confirming it.

"Then it comes to be that the soothing light at the end of your tunnel, is just a freight train coming your way" That's what the last couple of weeks have felt like.

That's kinda cool, never bothered too much with MP, but this might change things up a bit. @TheMightyEthan They talk about how the build shown was from weeks ago, I can see them improving some things, but like you said, short of a drastic overhaul, which would probably require delaying the game a fair bit (or ungodly amounts of crunch) I don't see much actually changing by the time it comes out.

I liked Conviction, but the first one is my favourite, Chaos Theory was pretty fun too. \m/ \m/

https://variety.com/2020/tv/news/splinter-cell-animated-series-netflix-1234612535/ Splinter Cell getting an animated series. The writer from the John Wick series is attached to the project as writer and producer. I'm hoping they'll keep the stealth/infiltration stuff, but I'm also pretty sure they'll make it more actiony than that. Hope this means they're thinking about bringing back the games.
