That's kinda cool, never bothered too much with MP, but this might change things up a bit. @TheMightyEthan They talk about how the build shown was from weeks ago, I can see them improving some things, but like you said, short of a drastic overhaul, which would probably require delaying the game a fair bit (or ungodly amounts of crunch) I don't see much actually changing by the time it comes out.

I liked Conviction, but the first one is my favourite, Chaos Theory was pretty fun too. \m/ \m/

https://variety.com/2020/tv/news/splinter-cell-animated-series-netflix-1234612535/ Splinter Cell getting an animated series. The writer from the John Wick series is attached to the project as writer and producer. I'm hoping they'll keep the stealth/infiltration stuff, but I'm also pretty sure they'll make it more actiony than that. Hope this means they're thinking about bringing back the games.

GWAR unplugged works surprisingly well.

Our president "We're leaving things in the hands of the experts, they'll guide us through" Our president a couple of days later "Our experts have told me there's no scientific evidence that masks work, there's no need to use them!" Then this happened in Chilpancingo, Guerrero: Supposedly because the store was having some kind of sale on cooking oil.

There's still other issues, specially with texture pop-in and in some cases, what looks like a complete lack of textures. That screenshot with the rifle, it really looks like it's missing textures, and after watching the gameplay video in 4K, it still doesn't look right, though it does look slightly better, phantoms, some of the rocks, the wheels on the warthog, they all look like they're missing a layer or two. Whatever materials and stuff they're using, they need to revise some of it, unless they really want to go for the plastic look. That article even mentions Metro Exodus, which even on my PS4 (not pro or anything) manages to look really REALLY good. https://www.halowaypoint.com/en-us/news/campaign-evolved They mention Infinite being a spiritual reboot of the series, while also saying it'll go over what happened after Guardians. Honestly, if they're going to jump ship from that storyline, I'd much rather they just reboot the thing and forget Guardians existed rather than trying to cram it in there somewhere, somehow. Still, knowing that I'll be able to play it with gamepass makes me kinda look forward to it, otherwise I'd be pretty disappointed with what's been shown so far.

That red brute armour straight up looks like a Lego, or Mega Bloks thing.

\m/ \m/ I forgot this was a thing. Surprised to see it at the Xbox event.

Things look plasticky and low-detailed, except for some of the environments which I thought looked cool, maybe not next-gen cool though. I don't know if it's due to performance reasons or a design choice, but still, the more I watch that trailer the worse certain things look. In many ways they do seem to be going for that Halo CE look/feel, but I'm not sure that's the right move right now, specially if that means just abandoning the Guardians storyline. Given how 5 ended, suddenly jumping into another completely different war and fighting these dudes from Halo Wars 2 just feels weird, a bunch of brutes don't feel that threatening even if the trailer mentions they've already won, compared to Cortana pointing a gun at the head of the galaxy.

Well... Do I have some news for you... Open world game, with a grappling hook. The stuff they showed look cool, but yeah, too far from Halo for me, also they do seem to have left the Guardians, Cortana and the Mantle of Responsibility behind, the Banished are the main enemies now. Will still keep an eye on it, just, it went from DAY ONE HELL YEAH to, eh, I'll buy it, maybe. Edit:

A lot of people are saying that the thing on his forearm is a grappling hook. I don't know, and honestly, it'd be kinda weird. It worked for DOOM Eternal because of how it combined with glory kills, traversal and just the forward combat approach of it, but I'm not sure it would work with Halo. Either way, we'll find out soon.

Yup, this is it, the start of the EXTRA/EXTELLA series. http://typemoon-bb.com/record/ It's in development for current platforms, no word yet on a PC release, but I wouldn't be surprised if it did come at a later date, after all, both EXTELLA and EXTELLA Link are already available on PC.

Heaviest Kataklysm song in a while. \m/ \m/

HELL YEAH! \m/ \m/ A remake of Fate/EXTRA!! \m/ \m/ Looks like they're keeping the rock, paper, scissors gameplay, just updating it a bit. Also, as many have pointed out, there's no Tamamo in sight, I wonder if they'll update the story to fit in with the EXTELLA timeline, or if they'll just pull a Last Encore and cause all Tamamo fans to spontaneously combust.

\m/ \m/ I wonder if Valhalla also got affected by that shit, probably, right?

Games You've Bought Episode MMXX: Revenge of the Backlog
MetalCaveman replied to MetalCaveman's topic in General Gaming Chat
After playing the trial version and seeing how much they've improved I checked and it was still on sale. \m/ \m/ -
I really liked this album, supposedly they're releasing a new one this year, but they've been talking about a new album for some time now, so I'm not sure that'll ever happen, would be cool though! \m/ \m/

Ghost Recon Breakpoint, played the trial (6 hours), this time on Xbox. Between immersive mode, AI teammates and the new Resistance event, they've turned this into Wildlands 2. Which is great IMO. At the same time, it's clear the game is not balanced for immersive mode and Resistance stuff, the Wolves are dangerous in normal mode because they're always several levels above you and with higher rarity weapons, when all that stuff is thrown out the window they're just normal enemies, just with cool outfits. Something really cool about the Resistance event, the resistance fighters are much more active than in Wildlands, missions were you capture enemy camps and bases actually allow them to take and keep control of them, I've seen them driving around and suddenly turn to head towards a Sentinel base, they now have helicopters flying around, in general, they have a wider variety of stuff they do, and completing missions for them actually feels like you're helping them drive Sentinel away. They've added a lot of life to the world, which felt pretty barren before as the only ones moving around the islands were Sentinel forces and Wolves drones. It's a shame that it took them this long, but they've finally turned Breakpoint into a pretty decent, pretty fun game. It still has some issues, but compared to the mess from the closed beta, and from its original release, it's a whole new beast.

They're looking into the video, to determine whether it's real or not. Part 2 is funny, he (Alfonso Durazo secretary of Security) says there's no armed group capable of facing against federal security forces (the army), seems like he forgot the Culiacanaso. Though I'll admit, that was not because the army couldn't face them, rather because the government decided to surrender.

May I introduce to you, the CJNG: And people wonder why it's super scary to stop at a military checkpoint while driving, you never know if it's the army or if you'll run into these dudes.

Hardware Canucks - More tech reviews, laptops, mice, monitors, cases, etc. A more chill style compared to LTT and for the most part they tend to review things you might actually be able to afford. JayzTwoCents - Even more PC stuff! With a fun mix of reviews, news, just talking stuff and DIY projects that, though not recommended, are kinda fun to watch, like that time they tested how much pressure a PC radiator can hold before going boom. Binging With Babish - Recipes from and inspired by TV series, movies, anime, etc. Also has his Basics With Babish, which, as the name implies, goes over the basics of how to prepare certain dishes. Not the kind of stuff that's easy to follow along, or cheap, but it's fun to watch. Marques Brownlee - MORE TECH. Mostly covers phones, but also dabbles in other things, including cars. Game From Scratch - Some game dev tutorials, news on engines, programming languages and other stuff, more on the technical side than the design side. Michael Quesada - Tech En EspaƱol Manga Materials - Tutorials, tips and other stuff on drawing, anatomy, poses, etc. Man, I follow a ton of tech/PC channels...

Hey! Remember when they went all "fuck your renewable energies!"? Here's the sequel: CFE Will acquire 2 million tons of coal in order to reactivate the coal mining industry of Coahuila. So that's fun. Also, in Paracho, Michoacan a doctor and his family had to flee after being attacked in their home by people blaming him for killing a patient. Apparently the patient went in with difficulty breathing, the doctor gave him dexamethasone (which is part of COVID guidelines?) and then sent him to the hospital, unfortunately this person died there, so of course their relatives blame the doctor and accuse him of murder. Oh and now I've been sent a couple messages from some relatives with warnings about how infrared thermometers are used to destroy brain cells, or how they're extremely dangerous because they use a high power laser and they can cause severe burns or something. To quote Cattle Decap: "We deserve everything that's coming"

I missed the five year anniversary of the Monster Musume anime, been in a bad spot in terms of drawing and stuff, I tried to redeem myself, kinda, sorta... A somewhat weak attempt at drawing a screenshot from one of my favourite scenes in the series, here's the original: So yeah, I messed up some stuff, skipped some stuff and completely fucked up other stuff, but still, for a quick drawing made in an afternoon, eh, could be worse. Here's to whatever I'll draw come the 10th anniversary (hopefully there'll be a season 2 by then)! \m/ \m/
