Don't know if I'll be able to join, got some housework to take care of, but if I can get it done quick I'll see if I can jump in.

I play Titan, always been my favourite, Hammer-Falling enemies is pretty fun. My problem, after running around for a bit trying to get a feel for it, is that I underestimate the initial boost and overestimate the jetpack thingy. Which is why I keep falling short of where I want to go. That sounds cool, is it a special playlist or bounties and stuff?

That might have something to do with it, I assume that 22 mobility is low? (I have 52 strength). Also, played for a bit, got an exotic quest that has the requirement of: get an exotic engram So that's going to be fun.

There's been some attempts at protests, some have been broken by the police, others sort of died out when few people showed up. The Secretariat of the Interior issued a warning against TV Azteca, for telling people to disobey social distancing norms and continue with their business/daily activities as usual. On another note, it sure is a fun time to live in a country that bases a good chunk of its economy on oil isn't it? Yes there are hedges and there's supposed to be some kind of insurance, but no one knows the specific numbers of those, so it's hard to say how big of a hit we'll take.

Yeah, I had never played any of these games before, but that was fun.

Took most of the day, and there's still some work/cleanup to do, but now I've moved my game/bed room into a different spot. This is where my old consoles used to be, now they're were my bedroom used to be. This place is a bit smaller, but overall it's an improvement, particularly in terms of layout and how close power outlets are. The other room, I'd like to turn it into a movie room if/when things get better.

To be honest, currently that time works for weekdays too. For me at least.

Been playing on kb+m, surprisingly comfortable given I'm not used to it, usually play with controller. I hope it's not too loud, mechanical keyboards tend to be annoying like that.

Today I learned: I can't jump. Also there's a ton of stats and stuff I don't quite get, I'll have to look into that, maybe there's something to make you jump better.

Welp, this is a thing. I don't watch much TV so I've missed most of this, but this is the latest in what seems to be a campaign from Grupo Salinas against Lopez-Gatell, undersecretary of health. I've criticised him for his late response, how long it took for measures to be taken and how light these measures seemed compared to what other countries have done and the results they had. But I also can't deny he's doing what he can with what he has, and his reactions and responses improve dramatically when the president isn't around. This however, is outright fake news. Calling him a liar because in an interview to the WSJ he said the model Mexico uses leaves many undetected cases. Meaning, there's way more infected than are being reported. Somehow, this has been spun into "Don't believe his lies, he's an idiot, we should all be able to go out, work and hang out with friends." Yes it's true that they had said the current figures aren't up to date, but that should serve for people to take it more seriously, as there are WAY more infected that are being reported, NOT the other way around. Also, something fun happened with some medical supplies. The contract was given to a Mexican middle-guy who has contracts with other companies, like PEMEX, to buy ventilators and other supplies from Chinese companies. He was all "well, we paid THIS much because they have increased the price of everything, but in the end our supplies are secured and they'll get here when we need them". Then the Chinese company went "We.... don't know what you're talking about, we have no orders from Mexico or the Mexican government, and our products haven't and WILL NOT increase in price, particularly during this emergency." Who's telling the truth? Who's lying? Tune in next week for the stunning conclusion!

Something that I kinda overlooked, sorry about that, is classes, I only have a Titan, but can start a new whatever if others want to play Titan. Anyone got any favourite class?

OK, I think I get it now, the current quests were added for new players after it went F2P, after you complete them (or at any time depending on how you want to progress) you can get the campaigns and play those. I guess the objective is to introduce new players to the basic systems and then those that care about the story can play the campaign, everyone else can just focus on raids/strikes/pvp. From what I've seen, some rewards have been removed from the campaign, but you can still get some decent stuff.

To get the sparrow: Visit Amanda Holiday in the hangar. That's it, no level 20 or completing the campaign. I wish it told you that stuff, or made it more obvious. She also sells (for glimmer/free) 3 campaigns, I don't know how that works, what the missions we've been playing are for or what's the deal with that, maybe something to look into? Don't know if it'll reset quest progress or if the current missions are just meant to be a quick introduction and then you buy the campaigns. Also, bought a new ship, and then got a better one from an eververse engram I had.

How many people can a fireteam have? I remember being capped at 3, don't know if they've changed that since. Side note, how was my mic audio? First time using the headset mic, usually have a separate one, but it gets in the way with my current setup.

Discord could work, doesn't Steam also have something built-in?

IIRC you have to play up to a certain mission before you can join others. Mind you this was back in Season 1(?) or whenever it became free-to-play. My other headset is toast, and the phone ones I have have crappy audio and even worse mics.

Destiny on PC works for me. Fortnite too, though I hope the Switch supports USB headsets.

Whenever I have to wake up to go to the bathroom, my brain decides the best way to get me up is to scare the crap out of me. Last night I was woken up by this weird dream/nightmare, where Steam was having this Halloween event that made it so that regardless of what game you were playing, there was a chance for it to suddenly turn into a horror game. OK, whatever, I start playing something, don't know what it was, just that, as soon as it launches, I'm in this courtyard, with a large fountain in the centre and dilapidated buildings around. The whole place is dimly lit, though I could see no source of light. Directly opposite of me there was this... Shadow, not humanoid and not a monster, just a weird shadow blob just there. For some reason that was enough, I immediately felt this sense of dread and fear, not like a jumpscare just outright cold sweat and shivers kind of fear the kind that makes it hard to even breathe, it was super unpleasant, the only thing I could compare it to was during the September earthquake or that time I almost got run over by a car, even then, this felt worse. So I did what I do best, close the game and walk away. That's when I woke up and went "alright, I get it!" got up, went to the bathroom and then took a while to get back to sleep because that unpleasant feeling still lingered. On the bright side, it gave me a cool idea for a short story (that I'm sure has already been done to death ).

I'm open any time after 11:30 am central (9:30 PT, 12:20 ET, 16:30 GMT/UTC,) , may be a bit later depending on morning work, but usually that works. Destiny 2 is fine by me, yesterday I learned that I'm if anyone knows how early on that is. Fortnite on Switch works, I also have Warzone on PS4, anything else goes, though I may have to download/update it depending on what it is.

First five mins, nurses and doctors from an IMSS hospital are saying they do not have enough resources to deal with the emergency, they've had to buy their own masks and other supplies with their own money. To bring attention to this, they requested journalists to cover what's going on. Apparently a cameraman was beaten by security guards from the hospital. Doctors in other hospitals have complained about the same thing, Gatell and the director of IMMS on the other hand, claim that there's more than enough supplies, that they've bought enough for every hospital. So.... Where's the stuff? Also, in the last week 5 doctors were murdered. Don't know if it's people that found out what was going on and tried to make it public, victims of those assholes that hate doctors because they "will infect us all" or something else (murders aren't uncommon here after all).

I now have Fornite installed, already launched it to make sure it was up to date. Don't know how voice works on Switch though. @TheMightyEthan Sure, let me know when, tonight I have to make/have dinner and update the game. Any other day works, just let me know times.
