I thought 1, 3 and 4 took place somewhat around the same time, different fronts of the same war and all, though I could be (and probably am) wrong. I don't mind the characters being included since it's DLC stuff that you unlock after clearing the game.

Not really, 2 was a sequel but the change in tone and setting makes it feel like a completely different game, 3 never got an English release, but takes place alonside the events of the first one, just in a different place, seems like 4 is taking the same path, so I think you should be fine even if you've only played the first one.

At least it won't be a long wait. There'll probable be a PC version at some point though, just probably way later than console versions.

How do you guys tell what the framerate is? Do you use some kind of tool to meassure them? For me it's hard to tell, usually it's either playable or unplayable. I wouldn't be able to tell when it's 30, 40, 50, 60 or whatever fps.

Missed out on the LE because the peso collapsed hard, so now that this was 50% off I didn't think twice. I've been using the Dunlop John Petrucci picks for a while and though I love them, they were sold out, while these ones were on sale. Kind of an odd shape, but after using them for a bit I like them, it does feel like the cut helps improve the handling/grip. They're also pretty much impossible to lose, being neon green and all.

I don't have a Crunchyroll sub because a lot of the series they have that I want to watch aren't available in my region. The Funimation and Amazon thingies aren't available here either so... I just watch what's available and buy the BDs of series I like.

Been thinking about getting this one for a while, and after paying some other stuff I had some extra money left so figured might as well get it now. It's also been a super stressful year so far, so this is kind of a "I should treat myself every once in a while" kind of things.

How's the levelling and stuff? Does it take long to reach the next level? Does your health/attack/other increase with each level or are they tied to weapons/skill points?

I thought Syndicate had done well, guess not. Would be cool if Ubisoft gave this series a rest for a bit, and went back to Splinter Cell, or some other stuff.

With Wolfenstein and Odyssey coming out the same day, most seem to have forgotten about Origins. Though it looks cool in terms of the setting and story, everything I've seen about the combat and other gameplay aspects hasn't convinced me, so I'll wait and see.
