Well, not including cartoons or anime, my favorite shows right now are probably the following: Breaking Bad, My Name is Earl, 30 Rock... Arrested Development is getting one more season and a movie so I'm all kinds of excited for that. I watch a lot of random stuff on the history and the discovery channel, too.

That's how I'd expect any decent boss to react. The only reason this got attention, I imagine, is because the guy got sacked. Store policy is one thing but the boss could have kept him on if he wanted. Not every little thing has to go upstairs or be by the book.

There's a difference between tending to a customer who has been injured in an accident and interjecting yourself into a violent confrontation though.

Found my old FFIX discs when I went to visit my parents--took it home and realized just how badly scratched they were. I was terrible about putting discs away as a kid... So using my super pirate skills I managed to burn a copy to a CD-R and trick the PS2 using the swap trick. It feels good to pick up an old game for nostalgia's sake. And you can really see how much graphics have evolved over the years. To think this game used to be top quality when I was a kid...

Spent all night trying to mod my PSP--failed because I don't have the 1.50 firmware. Spent the next few hours trying to mod my PS2 slim to play PS1 burned discs and failed again. I hate everything right now.

Part of me just wants to pay someone to mod a new(er) PS2 for me but it's not like I need one.
The PSP was fairly easy (I have the Hanna Montana version) and there's some special software I run. I'll have to look it up for you.

I sorta remember a hack for PS2 - if you know someone else with a modded one, I think you can rig a file on the memory card to make an unmodded PS2 boot a specific burned PSX game when it sees it... game-by-game basis though.

I feel and probably look like sweaty death right now... Going up those hills on a humid morning takes a lot out of you. It's been half an hour since I've been home and I still can't feel my legs. Sometimes fitness aches like a bitch.
