Nah, that was just the contest for the Limited Helghast Edition. Not that it's a contest since it's really 60 random players selected to receive the prize. EDIT: So I don't double post... I hope the data in the beta doesn't transfer. While the beta is awesome, there have been some rather significant glitches that affect your "career" or "profile" (whatever you may call it). For me, the game didn't save the unlocked Silent Footsteps and Proximity Mines skills. After scanning the Killzone forums, I believe the problem was that I unlocked the skill after a singe match, but supposedly some data doesn't save until you've completed two complete matches. Outside of that, people haven't been receiving Unlock Points when they level up, or some don't even level up! Certain skills not activating, and ribbons you've earned not displaying online.

I cry at movies, books, television shows probably more than the girlfriend. I think it stopped being cute like a year ago, and now she just sort of shakes her head and sighs exasperated-like... unless she's crying too, and then it's okay. Stupid gender roles. I defy thee! Tell this girlfriend of yours that if she wants an apathetic male, she can go to the store and buy a cucumber.

I decided on Extra Primary for the Tactician. The rifle for one, and the shotgun for another. Right now I'm trying to work on being a Medic, but I may spend some point of the Engineer. If I can set charges by myself, creating my own backup would be nice. Of course, it would be more of a diversion, but hopeful my team would be able to rush to create a heated battle. Man, I am so spoiled with the Infiltrator's infinite sprint! I don't particular care for the character design of either team's Infiltrator. A standard bald guy for ISA and some junkyard weirdo for Helghast? I liked the shady design from Killzone 2. Also, even though your teammates can't harm you, I wish your team wouldn't see your disguise. I can't count the number of times someone has tried to melee or shoot me!

I've only seen the beginning, and a bit of the ending of Hot Fuzz.

Ditto on Arrested Development! My sister owns the entire series, so I can't take them. I don't mind, I mean, she got the first two seasons used and they're not in the best condition.

I'm not the most elite FPS player out there on cyperspace. I'm still pretty damn good, but I don't like to see myself in #1 all the time, especially when my side is losing. It tells me that most everyone else is a lemming running out, repeating the same strategy over, and over, and over, and OVER! It took a lot of restraint, but I was so tempted to tell my side in a previous match, "Look, I don't mind being daddy, but I'm not here to hold your dick so you can take a piss!" I mean, I was the only one to make it behind enemy lines and set charges. Of course, I can't hold off six enemies at once by myself. I was the one who captured any points, adding a nice triple grenade kill, but again I can't hold my own forever! It's like, if you just want to kill and be killed, there's Guerrilla Warfare. I dunno, I did have fun running along enemy lines and dishing out brutal melees to all the snipers. Also, what weapons do you guys use for Tactician? I thought using the Shotgun (for now) would be better than the SMG. Both are close range weapons, but I've been having trouble with the Shotgun as a Tactician. I think, as an Infiltrator, the Shotgun rocked because people didn't recognize you right away. Now that I have the extra ammo, the SMG isn't that bad. I still need to unlock the final weapon for the class, but thoughts?

No Medics? I dunno about you guys, but there's always a decent amount of Medics when I play. The problem is they don't act the way a Medic should. Really, I think it might be people who saved up points just to unlock the Triage when they play the class. With how the beta is set up, I would say most people are playing classes where being solo is effective. Classes like Infiltrator and Marksman, and Engineer sometimes if you want to play the whole, "Turret Base Camp" strategy. However, you have a majority of people running around doing their own thing, though every now and then people group up. It might be that not many people have a headset/mic online. Those who do I usually see have made an impromptu-team.

"Last game" as in Killzone 2. If you ever took a look at the Top 10, the scores could only have been accumulated by playing nearly nonstop. When the rank expansion hit, those guys were already at the highest rank because of the point value they already earned beforehand.

I'm not going to worry about leaderboards. Last game had people who spent weeks playing nonstop. If anything, the only one I care about is the Friends leaderboard!

The first time I played, we barely got through the first round, but we totally got raped on the second. When I joined Mister Jack's Operations games, those were good ones. The only complaint I would have is that Yeti kid camping, but nothing a grenade couldn't solve. Of course, I prefer not to use my only grenade on one person. Now I have the Extra Ammo skill so two grenades! Really, the only time any match sucks is when everyone wants to be one or two classes. We need balance! Right after I left the Operation games, I played Warzone. 2-4 with Retrieve ending in a tied rocket orgy. Problem? No one was a Tactician! Well, if they were, then they sucked. Throughout the whole game I took it upon myself to be the team's primary Tactician. I secured one point, but the other team's Tacticians would slaughter me. Infiltrator is my class, and perhaps for the actual game. Infinite sprint, silent weaponry, melee doesn't reveal yourself, grenade handgun, great disguise! Personal socre in Guerrilla Warfare, 8-0! Infiltrator = Ninja.

I'll get on soon, but I have to say the Infiltrator is my favorite so far. The "Marksman" doesn't seem worth it in this one level, but last game I usually swapped between Scout (Marksman), Infiltrator, and Tactician. I love everything so far, well, except Operations! Sometimes the players understand, most of the time they don't, but you have to work as a team in Operations!

While I personally removed access to my account, due to the password fiasco, I sometimes regret it. Note I say sometimes, and that's really some times. Those times are usually when there's a lack of reason or knowledge. In example, finding out about the Tron: Legacy box set, but people complaining about not receiving the first Tron on Blu-ray months ago. Short story, Tron was shown earlier that year at free public showings and people laughed. That scared the folks at Disney and so Tron was wiped from the face of the Earth before Legacy's premiere.

As long as it's before Killzone 3. Part of me wants to try making more advanced levels, but the horror of my last disaster in LBP1 haunts me. All the hours wasted, and I didn't even get to finish the entire thing.

Alright, I'm thinking something terrible has happened in the beta for me. After a certain rank, you get the Silent Footsteps and Proximity Mines skills. I was able to select them for a match, and after said match I got offline. While still in the beta, I tried going back online and it froze. Perhaps it's based on class, but as an infiltrator, I can only select Armor. I'm far beyond the rank requirement, but I can't use the proximity mines skill! :'(

Eff, I can't believe I almost missed this thread! The beta itself will be open until the 15th, so almost two weeks. Of course, that was the information a few weeks ago. The prize drawings will occur until the final hours of Sunday, but I can't imagine the delay would cause them to cut the beta to a few days. Well, the beta is only one level and four play modes.

America was going to get involved in this one way or another. For example, some weapons and the tear gas canisters being used at riots/protests have the "Made in USA" mark. Even if America stayed out, people who obtained "USA" products would cause a controversy we have now; "Is America to blame for the violence?!" All I have to say on the crisis is I'm always pessimistic when it comes to revolutions. Egypt could fall pray to the endless cycle of anarchy and totalitarianism. Once the government is reformed, how will it be formed? Who will be in power, and why should they be in that position? Will all the violence and death justify the results?

Well, I have to be truthful and say Firefox and Chrome, even if the percentage is a landslide. I guess I don't run into the problems others have with Firefox. If I did, I'd probably be on Chrome as we speak. Everything has been fine, and to tell you the truth, I've had more trouble with Chrome than Firefox. It might be the websites, but I was easily persuaded to stick with Firefox. Really couldn't give a crap which of the two comes out on top as they're both useful browsers; I just hope no one says Internet Explorer.

Yeah, I've played the Donkey Kong level and it's really good. There are some errors, mainly the barrels, but it's a great piece of LBP work. Personally, I like the Sackbot tech demo levels. Some of the stuff you can pull off with the Sackbots is amazing!

All I know is that the footage for "LittleBigPlanet (Working Title)" was in the announcement trailer for LittleBigPlanet 2.
