  1. Seriously, after that Scribblenauts "controversy" article, that's when I started visiting less frequent.
  2. I'd cut off my own genitalia before I hate anything about Okami. The person below me is procrastinating.
  3. I'm not surprised, but not because of any kind of EA hate (if I had any, really). Just, I dunno, I remember a lot of disappointment that gamers had over the game. That somehow it didn't live up to expectations, and etc. Dead Space was phenomenal with few negative criticisms, but Mirror's Edge became a niche game after its initial release. Still, I might have found myself in the company of the minority.
  4. I've thought that maybe that's part of the reason why I love Ocarina of Time so much, but I've played pretty much every Zelda game afterward. My Top 5 would be: Ocarina of Time A Link to the Past Link's Awakening Majora's Mask The Legend of Zelda
  5. I'm waiting until June to purchase a 3DS because most of the good games should be out that month.
  6. Waitin' on an email to arrive. At least with snail mail, you know when it arrives during the day.

  7. I'm getting rather tempted to look into Black/White. It's all the Pokemon talk I've been having with my coworkers. I dunno, I thought I was too old for this stuff, but recently I took a look at my copy of Diamond. Shi-, am I really that good at Pokemon still? I went through the boxes of Bebe's PC and some of the Pokemon really surprised me. I even have a shiny Floatzel! My Pokemon team for Diamond consisted of: Infernape, Empoleon, Honchkrow, Leafeon, Luxray, and Froslass. If I'm not fighting Legendary Pokemon with, like, four elemental attacks, then I think I have a great team. My Infernape has Solarbeam, I bred my Luxray to have Ice Fang, and Froslass has Destiny Bond.
  8. Like when Group A dislikes Game X, and so Group B tries to examine and offer advice on how they could possible enjoy Game X more as said media offered an experience Group B would like to share? Perhaps Group A wishes to reveal the true nature of Game X, and also provide Game Y as a better alternative. I would assume people trying to sway others' of their opinion a common facet when discussing... anything.
  9. Nope, because the ISA cowards need to be dealt with immediately! The person below me wishes to see Rico, of Killzone 3, die a slow and gruesome death.
  10. I'm kinda sad to have read this thread now. Tron: Legacy has a below average story, but I can not fathom any other fault other than some of the actors could have done better. Scott Pilgrim did not try to be a gamer flick. If you somehow feel insulted by this movie, reevaluate your perspective of the film. It is not to be taken seriously as some commentary of a culture, rather a love story injected with high octane and flare.
  11. I hate returning items via mail...

  12. The Force Gun is the best crowd control weapon, period! If I hadn't already bought five weapons, I would have went with it. While the Line Gun can have great width, you have to angle it right to get the most use when taking on multiple enemies. The Force Gun on the other hand has great radius and pushes enemies back. Now, is it just because I'm playing on Survivalist, or are some of the older enemies tougher now in Dead Space 2. Like say those Crawlers (two arms, a tail) for example. They use to be pretty easy pickings back in Dead Space, but now they're fast!
  13. It finally arrived in the mail today!
  14. Well, I got some names last night, and etc, for possible dates, but hell if I'm going to have a first date on Valentine's Day.
  15. I dunno, but I'm missing that "Elevator Action" trophy. I'm assuming you have to kill all the Tormentors before the elevator stops? I dunno, I wasn't able to look it up, but that seems the only logical reason why I would be missing that hidden story trophy.
  16. I agree about the Oracle games. I really liked the game play for those games and it was interesting that Ganon was not the main villain, but rather people trying to revive Ganon. People always forget about OoS and OoA... Well, if you beat both games, there was the secret boss Ganon.
  17. It's why I stuck with the Line Gun. If I need a mine, I'll stasis the enemy and set out a timed mine. Still, that's rarely a strategy I use. I'll only use the Flamethrower when I go for the "Kill an enemy with all weapons" trophy.
  18. Amen. So far, all the weapons I'm using are the old ones from the first game (Refurbished Plasma Cutter, Line Gun, Pulse Rifle, and Ripper). The only difference is I'm using the Line Gun instead of the Force Gun this time around. However, I did get that one rifle weapon, the one where you zoom in for more power. It has its moments where it's truly effective, like the Brute fight.
  19. Yeah, you've got yourself an alternate/outtakes video of the commercial. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R55e-uHQna0 What makes this such a great commercial is the way the kid emotes with his body language. If it was just a few hand waves, it wouldn't be nearly as funny. Perhaps I enjoy it so well because I too would dress up as Darth Vader (on Halloween, of course)!
  20. When a few of us crazy college kids went to the woods for a campfire, about four couples (not us) came to the campground to make-out and/or make love.
  21. Majora's Mask is the black sheep from the point of view of people who started with Ocarina of Time, and there's quite a few of those. I started with Ocarina of Time, and Majora's Mask is easily in my Top 5 (of Zelda). Yes, the first home console I possessed was a Nintendo 64. I played other consoles, but never thoroughly as they were in the possession of either family friends or distant relatives. Majora's Mask is not the Zelda Black Sheep. EDIT: If anything, Majora's Mask is unorthodox. There's always been a formula to the series, and a typical princess-rescue story. Link's Awakening broke the mold first in terms of story, but it played similarly. Majora's Mask was a completely reversed Zelda in a lot of ways. I mean, you're in an alternate dimension, and the villain of all people is the Skull Kid? Hey, why's the Happy Mask Salesman so knowledgealbe, and... WTF? Why am I a Deku Scrub?! Oh, and I have three days until the moon flattens us... OCARINA TIME POWERS ACTIVATE!
  22. I don't hate V-Day, and really to me it's the default romantic day/night. Like, if you're not the mushy type, this is the one time where you're allowed/supposed to go beyond that and commit. Yes, you're gonna have to do that thing she likes, and love it!
  23. True, but at least it's better than watching a few cruddy VHS recordings.
  24. Well, I've already made this known once, but I'll post again. If you want to watch anything Toonami, and some Cartoon Cartoons, check out Toonami Aftermath Cartoon Network really is a shell of its former self, but at least Adventure Time and Regular Show aren't bad. Nickelodeon truly missed out when they passed on Adventure Time, twice! At least we're suppose to get Avatar: Legend of Korra in November, but that's pretty much the only thing on Nick that's worth watching. Sigh, where have the Ahh! Real Monsters and Rocko's Modern Life shows gone? Oh, they're on Netflix!
  25. Sounds like you got the Limited Edition, FLD. So did I! Really, this is exactly what I wanted: Dead Space 2 and Extraction, nothing more. I still have the original Extraction, but if I ever receive a Move and Nav controller, I'll trade it. As far as I'm concerned I'm not going to play Extraction without pointer/motion control support.
