Began playing the game tonight! I'm playing on Survivalist as I've played the first Dead Space, but I didn't want to go into Zealot because I'm well sure the new types of Necromorphs would wipe the floor with me.

I was left on a field trip where, I guess, "secretly" went to use the restroom. The person below me is living in the future.

Majora's Mask is far from being the series' black sheep. That title belongs to Zelda II: Link's Adventure. "Black sheep" would mean it is frowned upon, so while a lot of people love Majora's Mask (favorite or not), Link's Adventure is the most controversial in terms of quality and design.

Ever since the patch, I've received the "Faction Won/Lost" screen three times. On the Killzone forums, many other players have experienced this as well.

Oh man, I forgot to say this last night. I think it was one of our matches, but anyway I was the target on our team. I got halfway and died, right? The reason for that was because no one was guarding me! I was able to take down one of my attackers, but an Engineer came up from behind and got me with a shotgun. Seriously, the best defense is to have Engineers and Medics. Engineers will create turrets as both a defense and alarm. Medics can save your target because even when the target is mortally wounded, the round continues on until the target is beyond revival. I had a few matches in Killzone 2 where the target "survived" the round when the last few seconds were actually of him mortally rounded, but that's pure luck. Depending of the level, it might be good to have a Marksman or Tactician (again, as defense and alarm). An Infiltrator merely as alarm and only if said Infiltrator has a headset to vocalize the alarm. After so many lost Assassination (Defend) rounds, I've had time to think this through.

If it's one wounded soldier, there's pretty much no problem unless he's at a doorway. Sometimes though it's difficult to jump over that wounded/dead bodies. You'd think your character could walk over the bodies, but instead they act like sandbags.

Ah, gotcha. My headset is Logitech and has a USB adapter. Otherwise it uses Mic and Headphone jacks, so I can use it on a PC and my PS3!

Hug me brother! Nah, I've actually grown to like Fallout 3, but again, it was draining my life far too much. Sure I could skip 90% of the game and go with the Main Quest missions, but where's the fun?

All of the audio? I'm not sure on that, but... Obviously you go to "Accessory Settings > Manage Bluetooth Devices" for a Bluetooth headset. In the individual game is where you'll find headset options. LittleBigPlanet (1/2) has great audio options for headsets. However, the only thing I've been seeing in the KZ3 Beta is volume percentages. Perhaps if "Headset" is at 100% and everything else is 0%?

Best Buy restocked a few days ago and they have a rack full of Move controllers. It just kills me that I have to get the PlayStation Eye as well with the $40 controller. Nothing beforehand ever convinced me to get that camera. Oh, and I've tried holding the DualShock 3 with one hand... insanity!

Like I've said, I stopped being a part of the Kotaku community when they "gave out passwords to the Soviets," but I would still visit the site about every other day. Now with the redesign, I've been to the site a total of three times. Heck, really two of those times were out of pure boredom. EDIT: But yeah, like in the PA blog post, the one thing I'll miss is Totilo. Quite frankly, I think he was the last improvement that Kotaku ever saw (perhaps ever will see).

Yeah, I've been aware of this, but it gets crazy when you have to melee a pile of wounded soldiers simply to run down a corridor. It's one of those things I just don't want to worry about when I'm running my ass to the drop-off point when I'm carrying the propaganda speaker. Seriously, "Assassination" (locate) and "Search and Retrieve" are probably my best Warzone rounds.

Meh, I'm starting to think the Music genre of gaming is getting tired. Yeah Guitar Hero got stale rather quickly, and while DJ Hero was actually not too bad, it was still an expensive pack with a peripheral suited to that one series. While Rock Band is high quality stuff, I wouldn't say it's something that will last forever. Heck, I know tons of people who still own Rock Band 2 and don't plan to upgrade to 3. Likewise, some went with The Beatles and are content with that game.

I also have Wayne's World 2 because it was a Double Feature pack at Best Buy for $16.99. It was a few dollars cheaper when they had a sale, but all the copies were sold out by the time I arrived.

Good matches MaliciousH! Eff, grenades could have won us all those Assassination rounds, but I wasn't thinking! Heck, I almost didn't get that one target because my burst fire shots kept nicking the target. I think if you get too close to an enemy your gun actually "overlaps" or, you know, goes around the enemy. I think I may bring it up on the Killzone forum on how wounded/dead bodies become obstacles. At first I thought people were being whiny about that, but with some of the close corridors and doors in this level, it actually seems like a valid point.

Seriously, I agree with this 100%! Some of my best kills in KZ2 and the KZ3 beta have been grenade ricochets. However, I've killed myself with some pretty insane ricochets.

As far as I know, while the PS3 supports seven Bluetooth devices, some items reserve a specific slot. For example, I've got the Blu-ray remote for the console and it is register as controller 7. I'm willing to say a Bluetooth headset takes another slot as well.

Well sure. I imagine you would want to have a serious profile/campaign on each version. Just, you would make another save file for the sole purpose of trading. That's the one thing Pokemon still does right to this day: trading. It was possible, back in the day, to get both versions and obtain all 150 Pokemon by yourself, but you've got to admit that took time. After all, you were completing two games. That's why trading with friends, and now strangers at conventions and etc, is so appealing. Heck, now we have Special Event Pokemon where the only possible method to obtain them is to attend those public outgoings.

I still haven't played Dead Space 2, but I watched Yahtzee's review. The thing you have to remember is that Yahtzee primarily "reviews" for comedic effect, not for realz, yo. He's always going to be mostly negative because you can be far more humorous about something bad than anything good.
