  1. Well, as I'm sure everyone is aware now, the open public beta will be tomorrow at 10 a.m. PST. Kinda sucks, but it's one day and at least the US and Europe get to start on the same day. It would be cool to win one of the 60 copies of the Limited Helghast Edition. Sure it only adds on LED lights for the eyes, but that's still a free $130 package!
  2. In late March I'll finally get Dead Space 2, for sure! I'll be helping a friend sell some of his product at a festival and he said he'd pay me. Considering he's got $14,000 worth of this stuff, I'm sure I'll get a three digit cut.
  3. Don't forget, open public beta arrives tomorrow for those in the States (Europe = 3rd)!
  4. On mother's side, no hair loss! Grandfather died with full-head of hair, but I have no uncle on that side to make any further judgment. On father's side, well, my father and two of his brothers still have hair. However, his hair and a brother's hair are thin to where they could be bald in a decade or so. Grandfather on this side was bald, and an uncle is already bald. I'm in my early 20's and still have thick, soft hair.
  5. On Catfish, what do you guys think: true or false? I have yet to watch it, but I've read up on it and I'm reading that things just tie-in and flow too perfect to be an impromptu-doc.
  6. It was on sale for $39.99, and I had yet to obtain a second controller for the PS3. I'm think after nearly three years, I could go for a fresh controller.
  7. I may have tried smoking in my life, but considering my grandmother died of lung cancer on New Year's Eve of '96, both devastating my mother and experiencing death for the first time as an 8-year-old told me, "No, and never will I!" Of course, I would receive secondhand smoke from my aunt and uncle when visiting my favorite cousin. Double-edge sword if you will, but they've practically quit by now.
  8. I like their reviews, very much so. Ignore the score and listen to what they say, and if the reviews seem to "complain," welcome to reviews. Besides, some of the user videos and ScrewAttack (AVGN too) make it worth a daily visit. My only real complaint is that their video reviews tend to have SPOILERS!
  9. Is the site running slow for anyone else? It's not my connection because other sites work fine. :'(

  10. Ocarina of Time You don't want me to go into detail; my words will create an endless vortex of giddy froth.
  11. I'll probably pass... I tried to get back into Pokemon with Diamond, but part of me realizes that I am no longer invested in the Pokemon franchise.
  12. Sure the Water Temple was self-mutilating the first time, but now I can conquer the place with my eyes closed. It was those blocks that got me done under to the point I thought I eff'd up and restarted the game. If I had to complain, I'd probably point out that long cutscene with Impa. I get it lady; I have to go to Death Mountain!
  13. Sometimes I think to myself, "Perhaps I'm no longer lactose intolerant" and have a glass of 2% milk. Ten minutes later and I'm filled with "regret."

Ugh, I've been there. One time, I was at a conference and didn't get soy in my Mocha, thinking 'Meh, it'll be fine.'. And soon, I was knee-deep in hot flatulence and burning feces.

Onion allergy here. At least people believe your allergy exists. :-(

      Hahaha

Does lactose intolerance sometimes just goes away like that?

I mean, to me it sounds similar (though less extreme) to someone going "maybe my deadly peanut allergy is gone!" and then eating some peanuts and dying. Basically setting yourself up for failure. :/

  14. Whenever I see a man cross his legs when sitting down I cringe. I know theoretically that it can be done without squishing important things, but it's not worth the risk. I do the man variant of crossing legs: resting the leg on the other leg's knee. I use to sit with both of my legs up and crossed, but my 4th grade teacher absolutely hated it and "taught me proper." It was really more of a habit than a preference, and so it wasn't hard to get in trouble. Of all the things...
  15. Finally, I got it and only because of my $5 gift certificate! As for Disney Afternoon cartoons, the only one I possess is Darkwing Duck Vol. 1. It's good, but I'm also an adult so I can't revert to the simpleness of a child to really appreciate the humor. I think the only thing I can laugh at still are the Steven Spielberg cartoons (Freakazoid, Animaniacs, and Pinky & The Brain). EDIT: Oh, and there's Tiny Toon Adventures, but I've already stepped into that time machine. Let me tell you, sometimes the past is better left where it is, because the nostalgia you might have could be tarnished by early 90's lingo.
  16. I sleep on my tummy and cross my legs whenever I sit down!
  17. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5mpJOTuGXxc My father and I watched it together on Blu-ray. He let me have it afterward, and I'm glad!
  18. I usually give away movies of mine, but I've received video games from gamer friends/associates before. It was only once, but back when LostWinds came out, I doubted its quality. There was someone who was rabid for the game, so much that he gifted the game to me. I appreciated the gesture, but it was kinda weird receiving a game from a stranger. I've wanted to give away some of my old gaming stuff before too. Hasn't happened yet, but right now I'm trying to be nice and give away my DS Phat to a friend who's DS Phat was thrown out by her roombitches. She says it would distract her, but eventually she would accept it.
  19. Alright, I got one... It's like masturbating in a time machine.
  20. I only saw it once on Netflix, but... Black Dynamite?
  21. Well, that makes myself seeing Rio even likelier... Probably a matinee or date night.
