  1. I can't pretend to have ever given any thought to this. As others have said, I don't even cut sammiches. I just eat them...
  2. Hotty, I don't think they mean new content, I think they mean that they will be screwing with the servers in new ways so you'll have connection issues and get kicked from games and such in the name of testing netcode.
  3. You are never the only one. No matter how edgy you may feel you are being. (A pet peeve of mine). I wasn't hugely bothered by Sheeran, it was a bit immersion breaking, but there you go.
  4. I'm really liking it. It's kept the aesthetic which I totally loved. Will deffo watch this.
  5. Yeah, an odd choice of word. We don't suck at it, we just don't do it.
  6. I know the small sample set of Americans I have met tend to hate yolks (which is weird by the way, the yolk is the flavoursome bit). To the point where they order an "egg white omlette" (which just looks like the white bit of a fried egg) and will remove the yolk from a hard boiled egg (which is just way to much effort to ruin a decent egg). Perhaps they do not even know the joys of soft boiling and egg?
  7. Even the film is called "Born on the 4th of July". In other news, you don't have egg cups? If not, how do you do this?
  8. FFXII would be better with more of the leading man in any form.
  9. As it is Ungrateful Colony Day... Otherwise known as "the 4th of July" and not "July Four", or "Seven Four"... I would like to know, why do you get every other day on the calendar the wrong way round? You can get it right. Do you just choose not to?
  10. I hated the random rolls on loot. Nothing worse than getting the awesome drop you wanted only to find that it has garbage perks. Also, I know you could try re-rolling but getting all the stuff necessary was a huge grind.
  11. It appears to be a misuse of "half arsed" due to being a homophone which I spotted on twitter and having looked up seems to be used interchangeably in the US.
  12. Wait wait wait... "Half fast"?
  13. I also thought it was dragging a bit, agree that I'd like to see it wrapped up in 30 episodes tops. I liked the Mr Wednesday reveal, though I have no idea who it was for, as Dean says, probably (hopefully) not the viewers as that was really evident from the first episode although maybe that's because I know about Odin from everything from Final Fantasy summons to Marvel films, to (obviously) the book and I'm just being elitist.
  14. Rolling? Like with a wired headset on? You are either brave, minted, or quite quite mad.
  15. Yeah, in this instance I really think choosing a voice actor of colour would have been the best way to go. Laura is never short of VO work, so not like she is gonna starve off one missed opportunity, sure she'd be annoyed about it, and rightly so, but bigger picture would be better off for more minorities in games behind the scenes... Also, the comments are really shitty on that article "Darth Vader was white and voiced by a black guy, so this is totally fine." ffs...
  16. This looks like an... Ace... game for PSVR.
  17. Ahhh Mr. GOH! I'm delighted that the funeral pyre of our economy will brighten your day. I'm still desperately clinging to the hope that May's government won't last anything like a full year, let alone five, we can then kick the negotiations with Europe off again, reset the clock, and maybe just try and spin this one out with bureaucracy forever like the USA does with moving its embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem.
  18. Wow... Agreed. That is an interesting uncomfortable casting decision. Surprised I missed that controversy first time around.
  19. I figured that would be how they did it... Like when in old AC games you tried to assassinate an enemy in normal combat. I don't really like it tbh, I don't see how it makes the game more fun.
  20. I don't think Tim Farron lacks conviction. I think that he thinks gay sex is a sin, but at the same time I think that he respects that people have the right to do stuff that he doesn't agree with. I mean that's essentially the Liberal ethos right? You're free to do what you want (within legal limits), I'm free to think what I want about what you do, you're free to ignore me, etc. So long as we are all free and equal that is what is important. Tim's voting record shows that he holds to liberal views of freedom and equality, even when he is given a free vote or is the boss and can do what he wants (in theory). I think Tim stepping down is because his religion is an exposed weak point for the Lib Dems and come the next election (which will probably be sooner than later) the party want a leader who won't be so easy to attack on that front.
  21. I can see a weakness in this argument in so far as there is nothing preventing a blocked individual from creating another account and following Trump. How inconvenient does the government have to make access before it becomes a constitutional issue?
