  1. It's just *really* densely populated in some areas, and very sparsely populated in others. e.g. ~10% of the country's (89,000 sq miles) population lives in the greater London area (600 square miles). Which works out at about 10% of the Population living in 0.6% of the area.
  2. Presumably has crappy signal where he lives.
  3. I thought PC was early next year, PS4 November. Yeah, Q1 2016 for PC, "Holiday" 2016 for PS4. http://uk.ign.com/articles/2015/07/23/rise-of-the-tomb-raider-gets-ps4-and-pc-release-dates
  4. Yeah, I would always assume non-compacted. As long as your measurement is correct, it doesn't really matter if you use weight or volume. Recipes could easily ask for 200g of water instead of 200ml. It would just be weird.
  5. I can't help but feel that the two parter i) Plant *loads* of trees and ii) Stop burning stuff and use renewable energy is a better solution rather than i) Break stuff ii) Break stuff even more in the hope that it gets so broken that it is fixed.
  6. We got a cup with our bread maker that ahs "cup" measurements. Seems a cup is a half pint. That said, provided the recipe is all in cups, and you use the same cup ratios will all be the same so you will just have a larger / smaller thing depending on the size of cup you used.
  7. Something something love song something something...
  8. I could handle a Far Cry BrotherBeastHood.
  9. That's what I'm saying. Whippersnappers. Strutting around like "here's where this is from." You weren't there man! You don't know! You probably think that Ant & Dec first rose to fame doing let's get ready to rumble! smh mumble grumble... younguns today... Harumph.
  10. That only happened cos they were both in Soldier Soldier! Bloody whippersnappers don't know nothin' 'bout nothin'!
  11. That's sort of what I'm getting at. It would have been very similar even if all 14 victims (plus 17 wounded) were armed. Guns = death. More guns = still plenty of death. No guns = much much less death.
  12. "Fourteen people were killed and 17 wounded", "The Police Department’s SWAT team was training nearby and was suited, “ready to roll” and responded rapidly" so even with a SWAT team already tooled up around the corner, 14 still died... It's almost as if having *more* guns doesn't actually do fucking anything to lower the death toll.
  13. I think this is a personal taste thing. 11 guns - 3 x Blaster Pistols, 3 x Heavy Blasters, 3 x Blaster Rifles, 1 x Shock Blaster and 1 x Targeting Rifle feels like plenty to me. Pistols, Heavies and Rifles all feel different to me. Not sure about Shock and Targeting or differences between each rifle as I haven't played it enough to try them all. As for the cards, Jump Packs are for sure the most fun, but the Ion Torpedos, grenades, cycler rifles all have their uses in different situations. If you're a Rebel on Walker Assault you want to be carrying a full set of Ion gear and if you're the Empire on Hoth then having a Cycler Rifle and Homing Shot are going to be much more useful than a Jump Pack. I think it strikes a nice balance between being tweakable to suit your style and situation while being accessible enough for everyone without overloading them with too many options.
  14. Steam ID/Wishlist/Country (in case of regional restrictions) VictorAnalogy, http://steamcommunity.com/id/victoranalogy/wishlist United States of Kingdom, Englandshire. General criteria Short, indie type stuff (but preferably not "lol broken physics" games), something that doesn't need a lot of horsepower to run. What are your favorite genres? Adventure games, puzzle games, short games, roguelikes. What are your favorite games? At the moment, Destiny, Battlefront and Broken Age. Volume was great as is Rocket League. Are you looking for any non-Steam gifts? If only PS did gifting. Will you take games not on your wishlist? Of course. Any other information you think relevant? Nah, just get me whatever.
  15. Balance and amount of content is something I've heard a fair deal. What's your issue with Progression and Customisation? For customisation, you can't exactly have people sticking random shit all over their Storm trooper uniforms or running around as a bright pink soldier, loadout customisation is completely open. You can't stick loads of twiddly bits on the guns, but for me that is easily the most tedious element of BF and COD. For progression, you collect currency and experience to unlock and purchase tiers of cards that act as accessories with cool downs. It's all pretty simple and for a change, it feels like unlocking everything is achievable. I honestly think that most of the complaints are down to the game being accessible to a wider group. Rather than being just for people who have played BF and COD plenty in the last 5 years.
  16. On the Civil War Trailer: "You've operated with unlimited power and no supervision." Thought to myself "I don't see why not having optical super powers makes him a bad guy.".
  17. Fair dos, I always thought that "Duty Roster" was an American "rota". *shrug*
  18. Wouldn't "roster" be the closest fit? Roster feels like an American word.
  19. Whatever it is they nicked off EA I'm sure it looked cool before it got nuked.
  20. I might also find people like me and Mister Jack and Danielpholt though... With three people actually trying to do stuff and three others just muddling around killing things, and given that we're way over-levelled for the raid I'm sure we'd scrape through. Or at least be able to get through *some* of the checkpoints. I'm just saying, I'd like it as an option. It doesn't stop anyone else not using it.
  21. That's not cut content, that's content that you want to be in a game not being in a game. I'm not going to tell you that you have to like Battlefront, let alone buy it, but in my (tainted) opinion it is a great game that is a lot of fun and is well worth the money even without expansion packs (which admittedly I don't have to pay for). All games ever have "cut content". The scope at the outset of development is always huge and as budgets and deadlines and technical limitations become a reality that original scope gets reduced and what looked amazing in a vertical slice get's cut because realising it in the finished game simply would not work.
  22. How is it different if I go to a website, join a lobby of random people who want to play a certain game mode then go back to Destiny and make a fireteam, versus I join a lobby in Destiny to play a certain game mode with random people? Even if it is a clusterfuck, it's a clusterfuck I can theoretically play versus a raid I definitely can't. I mean ffs people can beat bosses in Dark Souls 2 with Twitch chat I'm sure a group of people could eventually muddle through Crota's End or Vault of Glass if a few of them at least are mic-ed and coordinated..
