  1. I like the way Riddler henchmen populate the map with locations of stuff when interrogated. They could have done the same for all the other stuff. If you could interrogate thugs to get the location of secondary objectives, that would be nice, it would at least give you a way to "cheat" without resorting to faqs.
  2. Fairy nuff. I shall leave the spoilers unclicked for now.
  3. I haven't opened the spoilers in case of spoilers, but is everyone thinking (or knows by now I guess) that the Arkham Knight is ?
  4. Sadly, she's also a bit of a lawyer. The knowledge that I would a) lose the argument and/or b) end up single prevents me from adopting such an entertaining, yet suicidal course.
  5. Oh my god those loading screens! Died for the first time yesterday. (Was in a tank battle that got verrrrrrrry laggy, not sure why). And the time it took to load into the game. Christ! Glad I can just boot up and pick up where I left off.
  6. Yay! I'm going to humble brag about having a relationship too. I'm about 18mths into a relationship. We don't live together yet, so I can play evenings, but that only really gives me a couple of hours after I've made dinner, eaten, socialised with housemates a bit, gone climbing, done chores, other grown ass man stuff. Weekends are totally out as that's the only time I have to spend with my partner. Hopefully once we move in together I'll be able to play a bit more at weekends plus an hour or two at night. One thing that does help loads is suspend/resume on PS4. Means I can immediately drop something without worrying about getting caught in the middle of a cutscene or something. Slightly annoyingly, while RemotePlay *should* allow me to game while she watches crap telly, this is apparently not allowed. We have to "watch it together". However, I'm not allowed to actually comment on said crap telly, which I thought was crap telly's sole saving grace... :/
  7. The replies here are fantastic. https://twitter.com/FoxNews/status/614434259760250880 Edit. Link fixed. Cheers Ethan.
  8. CM had a non-exclusive deal to ship CM on One Plus world wide. CM then signed an exclusive deal to ship CM on some other phone manufacturer in India. This then created a deal of uncertainty over the One Plus One. Initially One Plus were told to stop selling. Then a sensible judge interpreted the "exclusive" deal as "exclusive except your previous commitments." The really bad bit was how CM's honcho dealt with it. Carl from One Plus saw the India story, sent an email saying "Can we chat about stuff when you come to visit." and got a one line response from CM honcho saying "We are terminating."
  9. Would love to see ones for the Falklands, Jerusalem and the Gaza strip.
  10. It's worth noting that even after a steam refund, Valve keeps their 30% cut, so each refund actually costs WB Games that extra 30%. Really? That doesn't sound right to me. Refunds are normally an allowable deductible in royalty bearing agreements. (Or at least they are when I draft them).
  11. They won't have recognised the revenue from those pre-orders. So while it was sitting in the account, they won't have marked it as money in the bank so to speak (at least not if they were sensible).
  12. Took me a long time to remember (or is it new?) that holding up on the d-pad does the Riddle solving snapshot thingamajig. Also, yeah, whoever mapped transform to L2 is a prat. EDIT: Now I think about it, pressing d-pad Up to toggle would be a much better idea. I'm used to tapping up to toggle Detective mode on/off. Using it to toggle tank mode would have been second nature.
  13. Not keen on the races, it's ok for city traversal, but I prefer Batmanning about the place.
  14. Thought I'd just get that one Riddler item last night around 9pm. Finally stopped playing when my controller died at 3am. :/
  15. The PC version definitely had blue lightning things sticking out of it. Pressing Triangle was a good idea.
  16. Batmaaaaaaaan! Why do I have a stupid job?! I need to fight the crimes.
  17. Not familiar with it. Dr. Seuss isn't much of a thing over here. Edit: Stars, bellies, sneaky dude... Got it.
  18. I guess if everyone gets to pick a race, race does become pretty meaningless which isn't a bad thing. *shrug*
  19. Sounds badass. "Nothing's gonna happen to you. You're indestructible! Bullets slide off you, you play with 'em."
  20. In response to Ethan's point, yeah I'm speculating on motives, but that's exactly what happens when someone goes for a gender reassignment. They are carefully assessed to determine if (in someone else's opinion) they want the operation/drugs for the right reasons. As for the difference being arbitrary / meaningless. Yeah, it probably is. I'd argue that whether you identify as black or white is similarly arbitrary and meaningless as it won't change anything. If you are white you will continue to benefit from the privilege that goes with it and if you identify as black you will be given short shrift by that community. The whole thing comes across as a bit... Ali G.
  21. Yeah, that's a pretty close analogy. You run negative splits until you miss the pace and are out of the "game". It really is a horrible thing psychologically as the weakest person is made to sit there while the rest continue to compete. Each new level compounds your defeat and you are forced to watch as your fitter peers go on to greater success. It's something that would probably be referred to as "character building".
