  1. Oh man, you actually gave them your money? Hook, line, sinker.
  2. Grip buttons are a cool idea. The rest of it, I'm on the fence on. Incidentally, the below is why they will never take over the living room. Not going to buy a $750 machine for the living room when I can have a PS4. Also not going to buy the crappy i3 version that I know is crappy because there are more expensive (and therefore objectively better) i7 version. Just my opinion here, but if you're going to "take over" living rooms then I think you need to be cheap, uniform and future proof. This is expensive, complicated and the entry level model is already seems obsolete by the existence of the top tier model. They'll sell a few I'm sure, but they won't be doing 20 million in a year. https://goo.gl/photos/NCkXVXyRiZpUZcM27
  3. I finally got to the second lamp. Respawning enemies is a dick move. The game has spent all this time teaching me to take my time, kite enemies, etc. and now it's telling me I've got to try and blow through as quick as possible. Very frustrating. The first section, where you have to run down the stairs is so tight the number of times I got ganked because I got stuck on a piece of rubble, or couldn't roll between enemies! Ugh!
  4. Depends on the character arc. Tyrion and Jorah just overtook the books. Jon is rapidly catching them. Stannis is there or thereabouts. Arya is a way off.
  5. I don't think it's a personal vendetta born of sour grapes on missing out. It was however the cause of a lot of people calling corruption. It was probably just enough volume to get on the US radar and when they saw the money going through US accounts they just thought "go for it." Also, new DA probably wants a feather in his cap.
  6. They can fuck off if they think I'm funding their family home movies. By a fucking Sony handycam and film yourselves at a family barbecue, wedding or bar mitzvah, then leave it on shelf somewhere to never be watched like normal people do.
  7. I for one would love to read your thoughts on them if you did attend. As for it being odd that the US is leading the charge, the US are probably the biggest nation with the fewest vested interests tied to the game. It kinda makes sense that they would be the ones that are happiest to tear it apart.
  8. I'm beyond bored of Ramsay now. He's got nothing new. Peel this, flay that, creepy smirk. The Sparrow and Cersei scene was gold. Watching the balance of power shift was a great payoff. The Sandsnakes, ugh, the poison was obvious and the tits totally unnecessary. What is the show's problem? Why can't we have a few episodes where nobody gets naked? It's never for a good reason and makes the whole show seem like some teen wank material. Tyrion and Jorah... Finally. Also cameo from Belwas! Huzzah. Looking forward to learning what Tyrrell and Baelish are up to. Not to mention Stannis, Arya, Snow and Mace Tyrrell with Meryn "fucking" Trant in Braavos.
  9. Not sure if that is markiplier's fault or the fault of "YouTube Fodder" titles. All FNaF videos are like that. He's obviously found a niche, I don't get forced to watch it so c'est la vie. I find Boogie/Franklin's popularity equally mystifying.
  10. Haha, I definitely recall seeing my local NHS doctor being rounded up by the police and forced to administer health care to someone. Pretty sure they didn't get the janitor though.
  11. Amygdala took a little while to click. But once it did, it was a satisfying fight. I'm having a bit of a mare in Yahargul now. :/
  12. That stuff definitely looked like pesticide. That is some nightmare fuel right there though... Jesus...
  13. That one's caught me before. If you wait a few more seconds, he walks up to the first troll. Classic Bloodborne mistake of not checking all the angles.
  14. Queen's English is unlikely to be employed when uttering "U wot m8." More likely to hear "I beg your pardon!?"
  15. Yeah, "U wot m8" is very South East / London.
  16. Yeah, the sparrows are mentioned a bit more in the lead up and the head of the church is (iirc) hated by the general populace for his opulent lifestyle. This leads Cersei to depose the high septon and put the high sparrow in his place (thinking that she is just swapping one toothless priest for another) the militarising is more of a big deal in the book as well. Edit: That applies to the book obviously. As soon as you see that the high sparrow is played by Jonathan Pryce, it kind of blows the gaff that he's going to be a major player and not some silent puppet who keeps out of the way. (Kind of like Barristan's appearance in Dany's storyline). Ramsay abusing Sansa annoyed me, as I thought she had turned a corner development wise and had become a player rather than a pawn. I *thought* she realised that the Boltons needed her and that she could use that against Ramsay, as a shield if nothing else. If she starts turning up places with missing teeth / fingers / covered in bruises, the North would soon overthrow the Boltons. In other news, was this the first episode in quite some time without a pointless nude scene? I don't recall any nudity... Might be just desensitised to it though...
  17. Agree about Bronn and Jaime. They are both in a good place with Jaime settled as head of the Kingsguard and Bronn with his new lordship and could be set aside for a bit (like with Bran). The sandsnake plot didn't need Jaime and Bronn. The attempt to kidnap the princess and it's being foiled works just as well without Jamie and Bronn turning up. I like the religious militia story line, though that may be because I have a bookish concept of the trajectory of that line. I'm loving Arya's story. Dany's is ok. Jorah and Tyrion's is a bit of a drag.
  18. He looks rather effeminate. <- Non judgement observation.
  19. Just didn't feel like there was a "way" to do it. Took out the babies for stage one, so that I had a clear crack at the mother. For stage two/three (depending on whether I managed to skip stage two), just went hit and run. But it felt scrappy and unsatisfying. Unlike Logarius, who was tough, but with experience and parrying, there was a repeatable system to it. Rom far and away the "worst" boss in the game. Just feel like I got lucky with ice rain and spider jumps. *shrug*.
  20. Die you cheap, mob spawning, one shotting, bastard. Mandatory cape flick.
  21. Finally beat the spider bastard. Didn't call for help either. I didn't enjoy it though. Was just relieved I wouldn't have to fight him again. Amygdala is my next target I think.
  22. Couple of vids of the weekend's achievements...
  23. I severely underestimated Rom. May need a Summon. Ice rain is cheap as shit and nearly impossible to reliably dodge. :/ Martyr Logarius was a tough bastard. Solo'd him in the end.
  24. Ahhhhhhhhhahahahaha! I beat the Shadow all on my own. Suuuuuch relief. Now facing Rom. Doesn't seem like it'll be as hard.
