  1. Yup. Even Wolverine agrees.
  2. If we're going to debate the "quality" of an active user it gets really complicated. I don't really care if anyone thinks G+ is failed or not, I use it a fair bit. I think it's good for sharing chunkier content and isn't overrun with ads and crap that Facebook is rife with. The circles filtering of feeds is also extremely useful. The feed on Google feels well tailored to my interests, containing updates from android manufacturers, nasa, Formula 1, the oatmeal, a couple of celebs, game related stuff. In this aspect it apes Twitter, but the absence of retweet and fave mechanics means that you don't get as much of the chaff, spoof accounts, or comedy protest stuff like @WeWantPlates. The content feels more meaningful, more thoughtful, and less disposable.
  3. Gotcha. Xmen incidentally is another good example the first few were meh. First Class and Future Past were much better. Star Wars is a very hit and miss franchise, but also easy to hype as it has so much iconic short hand. The screech of a tie fighter, the whommmm of a light saber, some blaster sounds and you're set.
  4. Not as popular as Facebook != failed. Twitter has 302 million MAU.
  5. Ok, so Batman Returns isn't too bad, but Revenge of the Sith is also not *that* bad. If we're talking about a great franchise with some lacklustre films, then a revival, Batman totally fits that mould. Star Trek is another good candidate for picking up an ailing franchise. If you are looking for a set of three ok films, followed by a set of three worse films then everyone being hyped for another three films, well, there aren't many franchises that release in trilogies and fewer still that have done it twice and even less that are on to their third trilogy. You may need to relax your parameters a bit.
  6. There were at least six bad FF movies in a row. What about batmans? Returns, Forever and & Robin were bobbins. Nolan trilogy was good if not great.
  7. 300 Million Monthly Active Users is pretty taken off imho.
  8. Nolan's worst film is pretty decent. I really enjoy the prestige. *shrug*
  9. While I think I may be in a minority here, I wish they would stop doing Stan Lee cameos.
  10. Asymmetry? It's curved on both sides now. Perhaps they should name it "EdgeS"
  11. Nothing. If this went to court, and for some reason the judge skipped over that fact that there was: 1. No actual plaintiff. 2. No actual defendant ("the gays" doesn't count). 3. No cause of action (e.g. a broken contract or similar). 4. No damage to the plaintiff who is after all omnipotent. And banged his gavel and said "I find in favour of the plaintiff." nothing would happen, other than the judge losing his/her job. The woman (from my brief skimming of her obtuse handwriting) hasn't actually asked for anything other than for the judge to agree that this sort of thing is Not On™. Now, knock on effects might be more severe, if the decision wasn't quickly overturned, buried, dug up, set on fire and buried again in the hopes that no one ever remembered that time the judiciary lost its mind, as it would establish in law that being the gay is a cause of action all by itself. You could have people arguing that they don't have to repay loans because someone in the bank is the gay and this is a Bad Thing™, but we're so far outside the realms of what is sensible now that it's all kind of pointless.
  12. @Kenshi: Up for some co-op this evening? After your help I unlocked the shortcuts, Oh, by the by, when baddies drop loot in coop, do you get it too?
  13. Yeah, though that doesn't really explain why they shut off his electricity. If npower did that to me, and I was a multi billionaire who had just been robbed, I can't imagine many of the properties I own would be using that utility supplier ever again.
  14. 0 surprises that dean is the first (and/or only) person to like that.
  15. Yeah, for me IM3 should have spent more time on developing Stark's character and less on coming up with umpteen different Iron Man variations each more flimsy than the last.
  16. Yup. Haha, sorry, it's difficult to explain (or rather, I find it difficult).
  17. Are we still calling them Isis? I thought we'd gone with I.S. these days?
  18. Yeah, I was waaaaay too cautious. Also struggled to get my cane to transform so felt under-ranged vs. Ludwigs. (Ludwigs is a cheap weapon to PvP anyways so fair play I says).
  19. It's weird that Hulk is one of my fave characters in ensemble films, but seems to suck donkeys on his own.
