An 8k monitor seems pointless for anything other than like feature film editing work, and mostly pointless for that too since most movies aren't even filmed at that high of resolution. *Edit - I guess you could watch 4 4k sources at once without losing any quality?

I've been playing Forza Horizon 3 and really enjoying it. It's like the best parts of Dirt combined with Burnout Paradise (except good). Also, driving a supercar through a city at 250mph in this game is the first time in my life that 60fps has seemed insufficient.

Yeah, as @Mr. GOH! said on Twitter, this is why you don't blame other people. Rosenstein doesn't want to be the guy who interfered with the Russia investigation, so once he got blamed it only made sense for him to use his power to appoint special counsel so it's clear he's trying to be above-board.

So today Deputy Attorney General Rosenstein appointed a special counsel to run the investigations into any connections between Trump and Russia. Interestingly, today is also the anniversary of the first hearings of the Senate Watergate Committee.

The art classes I took never left any room for creativity. Like I get that you want us to learn different techniques, but at least let us choose the subject matter to practice the technique on.

I can't ever read transcripts of anything Trump says. Like, his comments are always so rambling and incoherent that the only way you can actually derive any meaning from them is to hear him say them with full inflection and everything. If you strip that information out and present it as pure text it's always completely incomprehensible.

Nixon wanted to fire the special prosecutor but couldn't, because the special prosecutor is independent of the president (for obvious reasons). Instead, Nixon ordered the Attorney General to fire the special prosecutor. The Attorney General refused. Nixon then fired the Attorney General and ordered the Deputy Attorney General to fire the special prosecutor. The DAG also refused, so Nixon fired him too. The Solicitor General then became the Acting Attorney General, and obeyed the order to fire the special prosecutor. See the Saturday Night Massacre. So yes, it's true that Nixon never fired the FBI director, but what Nixon did was even worse (if we're comparing degrees of obstruction of justice).

Shit, forgot to add Doctor Strange. I think that's a Tier 3 movie.
