So today Deputy Attorney General Rosenstein appointed a special counsel to run the investigations into any connections between Trump and Russia. Interestingly, today is also the anniversary of the first hearings of the Senate Watergate Committee.

The art classes I took never left any room for creativity. Like I get that you want us to learn different techniques, but at least let us choose the subject matter to practice the technique on.

I can't ever read transcripts of anything Trump says. Like, his comments are always so rambling and incoherent that the only way you can actually derive any meaning from them is to hear him say them with full inflection and everything. If you strip that information out and present it as pure text it's always completely incomprehensible.

Because you can't copyright a vague aesthetic.

Nixon didn't fire the FBI director because the FBI wasn't investigating him, there was a special prosecutor. Nixon wanted to fire the special prosecutor but couldn't, because the special prosecutor is independent of the president (for obvious reasons). Instead, Nixon ordered the Attorney General to fire the special prosecutor. The Attorney General refused. Nixon then fired the Attorney General and ordered the Deputy Attorney General to fire the special prosecutor. The DAG also refused, so Nixon fired him too. The Solicitor General then became the Acting Attorney General, and obeyed the order to fire the special prosecutor. See the Saturday Night Massacre. So yes, it's true that Nixon never fired the FBI director, but what Nixon did was even worse (if we're comparing degrees of obstruction of justice).

According to RPS the game is completely fantastic, except for the ending, which is utterly terrible. But that the game is so fantastic that the horrible ending doesn't meaningfully detract from the experience. I must keep telling myself that I am not allowed to buy any more games until I finish at least two more of my current backlog (after Persona, which I hope to finish today).

Yeah, an "I already own this" option would be great. Like, it just recommended Halo Wars to me, which, yeah, I like that game a lot, good choice, but I already own it on both PC and 360...

Yeah, I guess really I mean most book series would work better as a Netflix/TV series than as a movie series. Trying to make books into movies results in having to cut out so much stuff, and while if done well the resulting movie can still be quite good, in book series you start to run into problems like "this part isn't absolutely critical to this book specifically, but it becomes important 4 books later" kind of stuff, so the flexibility of a smallscreen series helps because you can leave in so much more.

Man, people must really be unplugged if only 15% have heard the "strong and stable" slogan, because even I've heard it.

It's not that G2A themselves are committing credit card fraud or whatever, it's that they act as a fence for those that do, and resist any attempt to verify where the keys are coming from because they know it'll eat into their business.
