Apparently some users are having performance issues on the PC version, even with cards that should be more than capable of maxing out the game, and that reducing graphics settings and even resolution doesn't fix the issue. However, there have also been reports that turning TXAA off and using FXAA instead fixes the problems. Just turning down TXAA doesn't fix it, you have to actually disable it. Seems like there's a problem with the way TXAA is implemented so it's a much bigger performance hog than it should be.

On the bright side there's talk Trump might nominate Governor Brownback as Agriculture Secretary. He's a terrible governor for a lot of reasons, but has actually been really good about trying to establish Kansas as a center for agricultural biotech and has also been big on water conservation, so I'd have no problem with him being Ag Secretary and it would get him away from here to stop him fucking the place up any more.

It's that time of year again. The last couple of years we've had a fairly short signup window, so this year I thought I'd give everybody basically the whole month of November. Other services/gift cards are fine though. Make sure your Steam wishlist/other wishlists are up to date. Suggested price of $10, though under or over is not against the rules. What this means is, don't expect a $60 gift--if your Santa gets you a $5 gift that's on your wishlist, that's all he's required to do. But if you're feeling ultra-rich or ultra-generous, we won't thumb our noses at higher priced presents. Multiple gifts are fine. Gifting period will officially commence alongside the Steam Winter Sale, which I believe is supposed to begin December 22 this year. You can gift earlier though if you find a killer deal.
