  1. We butter bread, just not typically for sandwiches (one exception being grilled cheese sandwiches). Some people do use mayo like butter on sandwiches, but not everyone, and even as an American I find that practice completely bizarre.
  2. The more I read about Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE the more I want it, but I'm trying to save up for CPU/mobo/RAM. ;_;

Hey! I was in Tokyo a few weeks ago and there were no Mirage Sessions. Did you mean massage sessions?

Just pull the trigger and get it! I would trust Mr. GOH!'s advice here and be happy.

Well, or you could just get #FE digital. eShop isn't going anywhere.

But then I can't sell it again when I'm done. Also it's $12 more on the eShop.

  3. From what I can tell you're not too fucked. All the new stuff is sufficiently separated that it doesn't seem like it'd be a problem. Though since I have the expansion there may be places it would cause problems that I'm just not noticing.
  4. Animation, no question.
  5. Just finished the campaign. It was like 3.5 hours. But much like HoW and TTK the end of the campaign is not the end of the story content.
  6. That gif loops amazingly well.
  7. I don't understand why people care about that kind of thing. If it bugs you then don't use it, why do you care how other people play their electronic toys?
  8. It's weird, whenever I'm looking at anything about Destiny I start to get super pumped, but then the instant I stop I rapidly decline into apathy. I've never experienced anything like this before.
  9. I think Tharsis would be great as an actual physical cooperative board game in the vein of Pandemic. The more I think about it the more I want it and the more disappointed I am that it's not a thing. Barely related: Is it an RNG in the traditional sense, or is it actual physics-determined dice rolls? Because the way the dice bounce off each other and that determines which side ends up is pretty convincing.
  10. I don't think it's been officially announced, but going by the pattern it is almost certainly coming to PC: http://www.pcgamer.com/final-fantasy-12-remake-the-zodiac-age-announced/ (As the article points out, the FF10 PC remaster was only announced a week before it was released)
  11. I liked in Space Chem how it rated you both on how fast you got it done and also how complicated your process was. The engineer in me loved trying to distill my solutions down to the bare essentials.
  12. Tharsis. On Easy. Fucking finally. Took me 3 hours of playtime, when each run takes less than 20 minutes. I'm pretty sure this game would actually be impossible on any other difficulty. It's fantastic though.
  13. Are there any preorder bonuses for Rise of Iron?
  14. The Last of Us: Left Behind I liked it. I'd forgotten how nice and crunchy the combat on this game was.
  15. Goddamn, Tharsis is hard as balls, and I've been playing on easy. I had one run where I almost made it, but my guy ended up dying of smoke inhalation on the last turn.
  16. Dead Rising 3 has a timer, but it's so generous that it almost might as well not be there. I beat that game in about 1/3 of the time allotted. DR3's actually the only entry in the series I've ever played. The gameplay itself was alright but I thought thematically it was a wreck. Like, obviously the cobbled together weapons and stuff are ridiculous, and it seems to be going for kind of an OTT slapstick vibe, but the presentation is all deadpan dreariness, and the two really clash hard. Is the first one like that too?
  17. The Walking Dead: Michonne I can't decide whether I liked the shorter series or not. It definitely made the story tighter, but it also made it so characters, especially the antagonists, weren't fleshed out as well. Overall though, a good Telltale game. 4/5
  18. Yeah, they already said it's open world.
  19. I don't think we have a generic term for Sprite and other comparable drinks.
  20. I can't tell you the number of times my wife and I are talking about something and I go to google the answer and after I put in the first word google auto suggests exactly what we were talking about.
  21. You may even be able to download the new firmware and install it yourself. I did that with lollipop.
  22. This is my most anticipated game of the year.
  23. I thought it was Achilles but then after I wrote it it looked wrong and I changed it.
