Oh yeah, I didn't mean to imply it's unique to gamers or pop culture or anything, just that feeling obligated to do what is ostensibly a leisure activity seems odd.

I thought this was a good place to put this: it's a video talking about the amount of pop media produced in modern western society and how, at least in certain circles, there's this expectation that you be familiar with huge portions of it: I'd like to know what people on here think about this. There are definitely things (games specifically, but also movies, TV shows, etc) that I feel kind of guilty about not having played/watched/whatever yet, but the prospect of putting in the time is just so daunting. I mean, we have a whole thread about backlogs, for God's sake.

I want to go back to this: are we sure it's not mentioned in the movie? The reason I ask is because I had it in my head that he was a dolphin trainer for the military, and I never read any interviews or saw any prerelease media other than the trailers. Though it is possible I just heard that he was a SEAL, saw that they had him training the raptors, and assumed for myself that he had trained dolphins.

Yes, but it's not as major (at least as far as I've seen) as it was in AC.

The boots are the only part I don't mind, but I think the helmet and arms are hideous.

I didn't mean that he didn't already know (which he didn't, but that was fine for the reasons you stated), what I meant was that when he went to the genetics lab and specifically asked the scientist dude was basically like "not telling, it's classified".

Well the Harley and Red Hood DLCs are just preorder bonuses, it makes sense that there wouldn't be much to them.

I absolutely loved 3, but just found 4 boring. Blackgate was entertaining enough, if you go in with suitably low expectations.

If by "in a specific spot" you mean "under the part of the ceiling with the stuff she can climb on" then yes. *Edit - @TCP: All the characters play exactly the same as far as basic combat goes, there's no need to know how her skills work to beat her battles.

Yeah, really my only issue with them was that there wasn't really a riddle or puzzle element to them. Except for one, with the big water reservoir, that one was neat.

Come tomorrow, when Variks gets the boots, I'll be able to get all three of my characters to 34. It'll be the first time I've been at the level cap since the game released. And I still don't have a Gally. *Edit - but yeah, the situation with Etheric Light is dumb.

Are there more races beyond what you need to do to ? Cause if that's all there is I didn't find them bad at all.

I absolutely love how in Arkham Knight when you go to quit it tells you how long it's been since the last save. That's so much more useful than a generic "all unsaved prices will be lost" message, and I've been saying for years that games should tell you how long it's been. -
Mad Max Fury Road. I wish more action movies would be literally nonstop action like this one.

So I just started playing this today, game says I'm 4% complete (WOO!), and I think I'm starting to agree with the people who think Asylum was the best of the series. Sure the combat and traversal has been refined since then, but the overall structure of Asylum was just so tight and focused compared to the sequels.
