What I mean is that the 3rd person only has access to your network if they physically come within range of it. All WiFi Sense does is share login info, it doesn't like tunnel access across the internet to everyone on the friends list, so they still have to be within physical range of your WiFi to make use of it. That's why I said "No", because it does not stream to people out of range, it only gives them the ability to access it in the event they come within range in the future. No, it shares the login info with that person's computer, so in the event they're ever in range of your WiFi their computer will connect, even if you haven't given them permission.

The Wii version supported widescreen, while GCN did not, but other than that the only differences were the mirror world and the motion controls.

The problem is that unless Microsoft changed something, Wifi Sense is turned on by default, meaning that even if you trust your friend not to give access to your network to people you don't know, they might be doing it without even being aware of it. Okay, I reread the article and you're actually more right than I realized. The first time I read it I thought that your friend would have to manually choose to share this specific network with each specific person he wanted it shared with, but now rereading it you're right, if he's got the sharing turned on then it will automatically share it with all the contacts in the groups he has selected. Jesus Christ, I can't believe that's turned on by default. Oddly, though, I think that security hole means you actually want to leave WiFi Sense turned on, like GOH suggests: if your friend receives access via WiFi Sense then he can't share that access with anyone else. Although it doesn't look like any of the three groups are sufficiently narrow. Your other option is to do like the article suggests and when you're giving them the password you need to enter it yourself onto their device and make sure it's not set to be shared. There needs to be a way to share it only with specific people, because then it could actually be a useful feature.

It wouldn't automatically give it to his friend, he would have to manually share access with them, and he can only do that if you actually gave him the password. People who receive access via WiFi Sense cannot then share that access with others, only people who you give the password to can. My point is that if you have them the password they could do that anyway.

I don't get the supposed issue with WiFi Sense. All it does is let people you give the password to share access with other people, but they could already have done that since they have the password...

Yeah, I forgot about that. Seemed weird to me too.

My unicorn is 75 and sunny with a nice breeze. We get it about 4 days a year, and every other day it's either 105 or 15. *All temperatures in Fahrenheit.

Yeah, I'm loving it. Haven't been able to make it all the way through ep 4 yet. But goddamn, any time it goes to the dramatic but decision screen I have to just put down the controller and state at the screen for 5 minutes trying to decide.

Yeah, I like the Joker from the Arkham series; he presents a persona very similar to TAS, but still does really dark, terrible things that the kid's show version wouldn't be able to.

Batman: Arkham Knight. I thought it was a really good finish to Rocksteady's trilogy. There's still something to be said for how much tighter and more focused Asylum was, but I still enjoyed this one immensely. I even got 100% of the sidequests (including Riddler's) before finishing the game.

I agree that Sony's straight talk is vastly preferable, I was just irritated by all those game journos, who should be familiar enough with corporate double speak to understand what it meant, pretending there's some huge mystery about it. "Exclusively on Xbox One in Holiday 2015" obviously means timed exclusive because if it didn't they wouldn't have phrased it so stupidly.

I felt like people were being unreasonable when they were complaining about MS's statement about TR's exclusivity being confusing. I thought it was perfectly clear that it was a timed exclusive. *Edit - Man, I'm starting to sound like an MS fanboy ITT. So to put the record straight I think the timed exclusivity is lame and wish they hadn't done it.

Yeah, the quality eventually gets up to 720p after Youtube has processed everything.

We knew it was a timed exclusive, so it was never gonna be less than 6 months. *Edit - "Always seems to be MS doing that" - Sony is doing that with this year's CoD (though granted it's only DLC, and it's only like a month of exclusivity). Anyway, with this game at least, supposedly MS is putting in a lot of resources to help them get the game developed and optimized more quickly on Xbone, it's not that they're just paying them to wait to release it for PS4.

So the last thing I needed to do to finish out The Dark Below on my last character was the Will of Crota strike. It was easier than I expected.
