According to what I've read it was actually already the law that they weren't supposed to license businesses to sell cars unless the business was a dealer, but the MVC hadn't actually adopted the regulations to enforce that law. They've been discussing doing so for some time, but Tesla has opposed it, which is why Tesla is brought up specifically. All that happened was an administrative agency adopted regulations to enforce the thing that was already the law passed by the legislature, but news sites are making it some thing against electric vehicles for clickbait.

I don't get it...

Looks to me like in New Jersey in order to be licensed to sell cars you have to be a registered car dealer, and Tesla was trying to sell the cars directly without going through dealers. It may not make much sense to have the law be that way, but I don't see why the state wouldn't be allowed to do it. It's just a business regulation, which is one of the functions of governments.

Ah. I don't know if I'm just out of touch with it, but I never really got that impression. Though they have said that the world will feel more alive on PS4/Xbone/PC because they're able to have a lot more NPC's/drivers/etc around at the same time. The last-gen version is supposedly fairly empty seeming.

Well right, but I don't see how that's boding poorly. That just seems like it's expected. I guess I took "that doesn't bode well" to mean there's some worse implication going on.

It feels to me just like playing the PC version of a gen 7 multiplat, so in that sense I guess it feels like an uprezzed last gen title. Though since it's a cross-gen title that's hardly surprising. I'm more interested to see how something like Arkham Knight feels.

1) If your computer can't handle decompressing audio on the fly (something all games do) then you almost certainly don't use it to play games anyway. 2) That still doesn't justify requiring 57 different languages always be installed.

24 hours and it's still going good. Fingers crossed...

Frozen. The first third or so was pretty weak, but it definitely picked up. Still didn't think it was as good as Tangled though.

Probably it's just the ones that go with the levels that were in the beta.

Yeah, I thought it made more sense in Thor 2 than Iron Man 3. At least in Thor 2 it was a short event, so people who didn't know to expect it might not have been able to react and get there before it was over. Presumably Shield was swarming the area after the fact, collecting artifacts and whatnot. But yeah, that's a problem in any comic book type continuity, and you just have to accept it.

Tropico 4 is really more like an expansion pack than a sequel anyway. Good game though, I love it.

Thief. I really enjoyed it. Like I keep saying, it was pretty much just what I was expecting. I can see that people who really liked the old ones might be disappointed by it because it's different (I never played them so I can't say), but otherwise anyone who liked Dishonored should probably like this.

It's running a little slow for me, but nowhere near as bad as it has been.
