Yeah, that would be my guess. Hopefully with anti-aliasing too. Flower's art style is such that basically the only way to improve it is resolution.

Yeah, I incorrectly lumped all the Republicans opposing a debt ceiling increase in with the Tea Party. That aside, everything I've read says Boehner's got a couple of dozen Republican moderates who would vote for an increase along with the Democrats, and that coalition together is enough for a majority. That actually now looks like that's what they're going to do, they just waited until the day before to decide to do it.

Finally watched the ad. It was good. As Joystiq pointed out, the fact that it says "Professional drivers on a closed course. Do not attempt." on the driving part, but not the others, must mean that waling on each other with axes and swords is fine.

What I don't get is there are moderate Republicans in the House, and there are enough of them that, with the Democrats, they could pass a bill. The Tea Party is the majority of the Republican party, but it is not the majority of the House as a whole. I mean, I do get it, it's suicidal stubbornness, but I don't really get that...

Not to mention the PS4 doesn't really have any hardware features that they could remove (the disc drive?) and software features don't really matter as they'll be patched in to all models. The whole discussion is kind of moot as far as my purchase decision goes though because I'm going to be getting one no later than Q2 2014, and I really doubt they'll have a new hardware model out that quick.

With the announcement of the delay of Watch Dogs I'm seriously considering canceling my preorder. Thing is, I know I'm going to want one early next year when Watch Dogs, Destiny and Infamous come out, so the question is how long shortages are going to last.

For some reason Amazon didn't stock 3DS's for a long time (IIRC it was like a year and a half before they got them), they didn't stock Wii U's at launch, and they don't have 2DS's now. There's clearly some kind of issue between the companies, but no one really knows what it is.
