  1. Based on what that article said, it looks like it would apply to any game that worded its EULA appropriately. However, that's just the 9th Circuit, and unless the US Supreme Court rules on the issue the other 10 circuits (there are 11 total) can choose to either follow that ruling or not.
  2. Amazon also has Mass Effect 2 for 360 for $11 http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001TORSII?ie=UTF8&tag=amazon0b53-20&linkCode=as2&camp=1789&creative=390957&creativeASIN=B001TORSII It also has the PC download version for $15. It's $20 on Steam.
  3. I'm not sure what that link was supposed to tell me, but you're right, I just tried it and it will let me move it. Some games, however, will not let you transfer the saves between storage devices at all.
  4. Yes, but people were filling that with non-game stuff.
  5. I don't know if ME2 will let you transfer it to a flash drive or not. I think it's one of the games that won't.
  6. There's also Gibbed's Save Editor. That probably only works for the PC version though, right?
  7. You mean "CHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARGE!" isn't a strategy? But it's the only one I'm smart enough to think of.
  8. Damnit, I ran out of forum. Guess I should start on my papers now...

    1. Showmeyomoves!

      Showmeyomoves!

Don't do it, man. We'll make more forum for you!

  9. Are you sure they were describing the final mission, and not just what you do in the game in general?
  10. Hey dean, how do you change the little subtitle on a thread?
  11. How do you already know what the final mission is? Also, spoiler tags on stuff like that in the future, please.
  12. I need to build a new character for my insanity playthrough. It's so much easier if you don't start at a higher level.
  13. I agree that nationalism is outdated and such, but the same time are you telling me that if North Korea invaded that you would be just fine and dandy with that? You wouldn't want to resist?
  14. It had a kind-of-high-end (but still not top of the line) GPU 4 years ago when it came out.
  15. In ME1 I actually settled on Soldier after not really liking the other classes. Originally it never really even occurred to me that I might want to play as a soldier, but it ended up being my favorite.
  16. Oh, they're certainly using patriotic feelings of caring about the country and stuff to motivate the player, it just doesn't seem to me like they're trying to make America seem so "awesome".
  17. Yeah, I figured it was sarcasm cause of the "?!"
  18. Okay, and it doesn't seem like Homefront especially does that, it's more like "look how fucked up America is."
  19. Okay, yes, I agree. What I meant was "the description obviously will give you gay dialog options."
  20. Alright, if you spot game deals you'd like to share with people, post them here. There's also a Steam thread in the PC section specifically for Steam sales, but you can post them here too. I'll go first. http://www.amazon.com/gp/goldbox/ref=tsm_1_tw_vggb_20101101 Amazon's daily deal today is Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood on 360 and PS3 for $37.99. I really recommend this game. They're also doing lightning deals on games throughout the day. Right now is Borderlands GOTY for 25% off, next is GTA IV, etc.
  21. I have. Maybe we have different definitions of "America Fuck Yeah"... To me it means "AMERICA IS SO AWESOME AND WE'RE THE BEST AND NO ONE CAN EVER DEFEAT US AND SHIT!!!!!!!1!!!111!!" Whereas Homefront more just uses it as something the player probably cares about, but doesn't beat you over the head with how awesome the US is.
  22. Yeah, they really need to fix the netcode so the host doesn't have such a ridiculous advantage.
  23. Sure, based on the premise you could make the game that way, but from what I've seen it's not presented in that manner.
