Throughout the game, I and my party have been fighting for freedom from the oppressive rule of a dictatorial monarch, but when we reach the top of her tower, we find things aren't what they seem. Cue: The battle is hard, but not impossible. Straightforward, but difficult, intercut with dialogue.

I'm marathoning Durarara!! and it is SO awesome. I'm at episode 18 atm, and it is just great. All the characters are super interesting and their relationships are very well-woven. Izaya is SO awesome, and I love the way he combats and keeps up with Shizuo. I remember wondering the first few episodes 'What the fuck is this show?', but sticking with it has paid off in spades.

Okay, I'm happy because Taskmaster is the SHIT, but really? Tron Bonne AND Zero, but no Mega Man? Ever since that moment at the end of the original MvC when he turns all purple and red when you're beating onslaught, I have been a Mega Man STALWART. Fuck them if they don't include him.

Put Chaos Rising Campaign to bed last night, and I'm going to wrap up another Mass Effect campaign tonight and make some significant headway into Dragon Age PC.

All Kingdom Hearts games are very good, but for the current gen, you should probably go with Atelier Rorona, Birth by Sleep, or just wait until Hyperdimension Neptunia comes out, because that looks pretty good. Grandia's a PSOne Classic on PSN, so I would very highly suggest that movie.

Alright, guys. Who wants to play?

You can play games for maybe 3 hours with about medium brightness, resolution and general computer-pushing, and probably about 5-6 hours of doing other stuff with medium brightness. Deals, I don't know, but the screen isn't too small. It's definitely manageable. The keyboard is very, very nice, and the mousepad, too. The R1 gets kind of hot when you're playing games, but nothing to really worry about. It all works fine. Game performance is spectacular for its size and price point, and is definitely the best Alienware laptop for under 1k. In terms of concrete gaming performance, GTA IV is an incredibly hardware intensive game that is poorly optimized for PC, and the M11X can run that at about medium settings. You shouldn't have trouble running almost any game released so far, as long as you're willing to compromise down to about medium settings, though most will be able to be run at max, like Mass Effect 2 and Dragon Age. The core model's fine, and I have the R1, which isn't as good as the more recent R2, so core model R2, which is about the same price as R1, ought to suit you just fine, and the iSeries of cores help everything run smooth as butter. I highly recommend this computer in any form. My only issue is the ridiculous Alien motif, like the alien head on the back of the computer and the weird symbols plastered all over the computer. Also, it's a really, really great backup to have if your computer begins to have technical difficulties, since you can just hook up a keyboard and mouse and stick it on a desk. Oh, the computer also has a fairly low HDD size, but that's nothing a simple 250GB external HD can't fix.

I gave it away, didn't I? Yeah, you got it. It was hard to find and even fucking harder to play. This game is a piece of shit, and it's one of the most obscure I know. It's Metabots: Rokusho Version for the GBA.

Alright, fine. It was based on an anime set in the near future featuring robots, one of whom may have a name related to a certain small pollenating animal and a hard substance made of minerals.

Manhua>Manga. Loljk. But really, I actually just got Japanese lessons from my brother's family for christmas, awesome present, I know, and I'm really excited to add another language to my belt. I'll finally speak more than my father. So far, I've got Cantonese, English, Spanish, French, Hindi, Thai, and, to a bastarded degree, Malayalam under my belt, So I'm just buildin up that list. My father also partially lives in Japan, so it'll be useful for visiting him, though I'm honestly more of a Hong Kong man.
