  1. Is it the same audio files but compressed, a select few that are uncompressed or something in between?
  2. Someone is being lazy and needs to get their act together. From what I've read, the beta didn't have people to download all those audio files. At the very least, someone must have noticed that people will be downloading 30+ GB of audio files that the end-user won't be needing. Hell, it would be nice to hear something like that they'll do something about this or even tell us to fuck off but not like I've checked since it isn't important to me because I'm not getting Titanfall. So perhaps they did address it (I haven't heard of anything though).
  3. Goh, your attempt to be hospitable will fail with me since I'll be offended if your Chinese audio files are not in Cantonese.
  4. If Cosmos better not have a tone of "Look at this cool shit. This shit can kill us". Please hit it out of the park Neil.

So it is to my understanding Crimea regional government or its something to that effect kind of let the Russians in and at this point in time the Russians and Ukrainians troops are lining up, setting up defensive positions (Anti tank minefields are included in this... I hope there isn't AP mines...). Russia might annex Crimea at this point and they can just sit in Crimea and wait to see what the Ukrainians want to do. It almost seems like Ukraine will have to take this insult since chances are their forces will be split via factions (A fair chunk of their population are/were Russian) and Russia might ultimately pull ahead. It is to my understanding that Russia supply a fair chunk of Europe's oil needs, especially eastern Europe. So they got that going for them as well. If war breaks, that get cut off. Sanction them too hard and that oil is gone too. tl;dr... Russia might be ahead with and without war?
  6. A good deal of them (I might even be able to say all) are quite interrelated. I got to say, I can't help but think these problems arose from the American attitude that came with the US' rise. For most of US history, we either expanded out to greener pastures or technologically layered the old with the new. We have come to the point where we really can't expand out anymore due to dug in social, political and economic centers and/or environmental concerns (What nature gives us via the environment is the economic base). We are coming to the point that we can't bury or move away from these problems. Eh. This might be coming from a bit of a gamer mentality but... If there ever comes a time that a presidential candidate that is rather isolationist, I would be happy to vote for him/her. We don't have Gauls, Franks or Huns knocking on our doors. We don't have to be the world's police. The world can watch itself as we deal with our own issues. Besides, MAD. If even the US doesn't dare to poke at North Korea then who in their right fucking minds will dare to poke at the US? I love being American since living as one is pretty nice but god do we got problems to address. Some quite major 1st world problems.

  8. Hanorible dispray. No. The mage will have its own abilities though. All elemental based. Seems like it really is just the abilities that differ between the classes. I'm going through it again right now with the thief. First two abilities are rear attacking. One will bleed the target and the other will mug and stun the target. The third one that I just unlocked is a spam fest of flying projectiles that will hit an entire column of enemies. During the final boss (Which is amazing), I love using Kyle's ultimate ability. During this thief playthrough, I'll be using Kyle and Cartman more. Also the summons too. The summons really suffer from the "elixir" problem. You want to horde them but whoops, here's the boss which you can't use summons on. While playing on this second playthrough, I also coming to realize just how shitty the save management system is... since there is none. It'll be fun trying to find my mage save so I can 100% that one as much as possible. The other playthroughs are speed runs to check out the other classes and experiment with builds and playing techniques. There are also those minor choices that was presented that I didn't play around with.
  9. The Stick of Truth For the South Park experience, it met and exceeded my expectations (See FLD's post), though I felt it missed some good opportunities (Kind of unavoidable though). As a game, yes and no. The battles, while repetitive, they felt smooth and good. With that said, I wished there was a third character with harder enemies and/or more numerous enemies to compensate. I felt that I wasn't able to mix up my partner enough. For example, I hardly used Kyle or Cartman. While I am very happy with the game but yeah, it could of have been longer (16 hours with all side quests, I think?). Kind of tied into the missed opportunities. For example, an actual school day where you sit in class would of been nice. Another thing, as said by FLD, your class really didn't matter. I was a mage but I was acting more like a warrior. As a RPG, it is pretty damn weak since Douchebag didn't have a role. This is perhaps my biggest complaint. The South Park gang had their specific roles but you didn't. When I chose my class, I was expecting to stick with that class. As a mage, they could of made me less proficient in the use of swords and junk. Or perhaps the mage could of been the class that could restore mana without potions. With that in mind, I HARDLY used magic. What is the point of the classes then? Inventory management is also terrible. It would be great if I could sort my gear by level and type. Hell, it would be nice to also manually sort the sodding thing. To recap my feelings... The experience: A++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Overworld: Love it. Battle: I really like it. Background stuff like classes and inventory: What the shit? (After some thoughts after I beat the game) Despite my misgivings, I would recommend this to anybody who likes South Park. Totally worth the money.
  10. I called nature's bluff well. We might have gotten rain but no freezing temperatures in sight. Anyways, the the legume mix in the buckets decided to stay around so I guess they'll be for some more tomatoes or something. The sunflowers are doing fine despite an earwig problem. Between all the sunflowers I've planted and the re-sprouted legume mix, the slugs and earwigs are having a tough time on deciding which plant to target. Watermelon wise, I think I spotted one sprout. One. Oh well. Long beans are nowhere in sight but I think they are alive since I have spotted them sprouting on the surface... I promptly reburied them. I might start a round two tomorrow of the long beans that will have a 24 hour soak. The first round only had like a 12 hour soak. ALSO FUCK THE CAT WHO IS USING MY GARDEN BED AS A KITTY BOX... which reminds me that I should of done some catnip. I'm going to make you high as fuck. Go get eaten by a mountain lion. Fuck. In other news... I procured a orchid plant and rescued another that I gifted my mom. The rescue is actually growing on a branch. Super cool and about to bloom. The one I bought has about a month to go before it blooms. I am also actively fighting powdery mildew on my rosemary plants. The milk mixture seems to be working. I might move on to my mints. If I can keep it at bay then winnar is me. If it comes back with a vengeance, I'm nuking with neem oil. Lastly... worm tea works wonders. My mints really responded to it. My sunflowers also seems to be. At the moment, I am doing a weekly watering with worm tea. My vermicompost seems to be able to keep up. If not, then it is fine. I can revert back to bottom watering (Powdery mildew control method and potentially promotes stronger root system).
  11. Yeah, the cell processor will be a bitch but it'll be done. With that said, is it safe to say that the PS4 would be easier to emulate? Parts wise, it is normal.
  12. PS3's emulation baby steps. It'll happen sooner or later (Soonest might be about five years) and it'll be a good day
  13. Randy's a geologist. I must see an anally violated geologist.
  14. Regarding mana... it seems to be just items that can refill it. No way that by level nine that I won't find at least one add on that refill my mana. It is kind of making me a mis-classed mage who does mostly warrior things. Anyways... I freaking love the Cartman chants during the overworld (lack of better term) theme.
  15. Maybe I should worry that the doors in a section of the house are all mis-aligned and won't close without a pull up.

If the problems are the hinges, and this is usually the problem with doors, the fix is cheap. Pound toothpicks or chopsticks (latter is better) in the screw holes. Then, re-screw in the hinges to the wall. The hard part is putting the door back up, which you need a buddy to help. The real cost is for beer and pizza to say thank you for the help.

If it's all the doors in a whole section though it's probably something to do with the foundation being out of level.

After taking a look, I'm thinking it might be the roof... nobody lives in the converted garage so it should be find even if it comes down... On a side note, when I first moved in, another door in the house was a little off but it fixed itself.

  17. Regarding the assets and the potential ease of porting it. This might be the start of a really cool thing since Matt and Trey (And company) can get away with a lot more with games than a cable show. Episodic content from them could also be a thing during the show's off-season. The only thing I would worry about is the gameplay aspect. What South Park Studios can do is make great (hit or miss) content but it might not translate well to games. Back to the game... I'm kind of disappointed in how the general layout of the town is. I don't even think it is the same from the TV show's OP. I was hoping it wouldn't be that linear. I suppose it makes sense though because South Park is in a valley somewhere in Colorado. Still, I'm kind of disappointed. Now I got to ask... did you guys make yourselves as Douchbag or someone totally random? It is fantastic to have Butters give you a backpat to heal you up. I got to say though... I expect stuff to happen to my avatar as I progress through the game that will make me regret making myself as the Douchbag.
  18. General impressions... god damn am I disarmed by the fact that it feels like South Park. Due to the art style, the cut scenes and gameplay merges together well. Humor wise, well it is South Park. So far I have walked in on a naked chick and a guy masturbating under some sheets. Then there is Al Gore. God, I hope GRRM shows up, just because. Gameplay wise, it does keep you on your toes since getting those "criticals" are quite key in winning battles easily. So don't be like me playing this game while on Nyquil... even normal is proving a challenge. All other times though, I would suspect that hardcore would be your go to difficulty. Now for some shortcomings... I noticed how quickly dialogs can come back up again. First one was with Cartman's mom. It can be quite prevalent if you button mash through the game so it may affect your immersion. Not much you can do about this though... Another immersion breaking thing is the general RPG trope of looting a home without the adults or anybody really questioning you. Not even when you are rummaging through their house (Like with Butters'). It might be intentional though so I'm just waiting for the point when someone will call me out on this bullshit. Someone got to or else I'll be disappointed. UI... yeah, its a console game I feel. Haven't tried it much with mouse and keyboard but I'll do that tomorrow after the Quil wears off. Related with UI... the options menu is good enough. Graphic wise, there isn't much that you can change and that is fine considering the game. All the sound bars should be there. And the Quil is strong... enough general impressions for now.
  19. Pretty much. For $45 I'll bite. Even if it somehow sucks, I'll just go watch some South Park to sooth the pain. Besides, this will be the first South Park thing I officially bought. Finally after more than a decade worth of entertainment. Edit: Also Zombie Chef. Children, what is going on!? Whats with the Nazi Zombie Cows!?
  20. Well yeah, Snake Eater is the best one. MGS1 is the beginning (More or less). it worked for sure back in the 90's and it was wonderful. MGS2.... is an improvement but it is more of the same. MGS3 is awesome. MGS4 is a love song to MGS fans. Now MGSV... oh man. It has the potential to blow MGS3 out. That is what I am hoping.
