Well, it is more about experiencing the process more than anything. I'm personally am interested in trying to made some of my own cooking oil at least once. Now for something different... My photo documentation of a pest that I encounter a lot. I also included some mental notes.

I'm mainly looking at geochronology which can help in various fields of study. I'm pretty open to the whole spectrum of geology though but I can't say I'm looking for an O&G career. Mainly research for me.

For MMOs... paying money to switch servers. It really cannot be that hard is it? If it is there to deter people switching servers constantly then I don't see why it cannot be a high amount of in-game currency that people can grind out. Meh, it is just something that always bothered me. That and tagged shirts. Tagless4lyfe.

Aye. If for whatever reason you want to make your own cooking oil, black seeds seem to be the best for that task. That what I have and to say again, I am honestluy confused that my sunflower even made the seeds considering how many are empty. A lot of plants abort if they can't make viable seeds and that would make sense for an energy intensive sunflower.

Still... it would be nice if it was $20 for the game and a month of game time. Hell, they might get some people to pull the trigger who would of not done it otherwise. If the person want to stick around then it'll be about $13 for 180 days which seems reasonable. Eye cannot read. $13/month for 180 days. Eh.

Started Strike Witches, Magic Knight Rayearth and watched A Letter to Momo. A Letter to Momo... I had it on file so I watched it since I got it sometime in the past for whatever reason. It was nicely animated and sweet story but it was kind of dull. A nice relaxation film I suppose. Magic Knight Rayearth... all these tropes man. I wonder if I can take it. Also these girls does not look like 14. I can watch Sailor Moon but this... I dunno but it is Sailor Moon meets Escaflowne. Onwards to mahou shoujo mecha battles! Strike Witches... where the fuck are their pants? The fanservice is strong in this one. The panties shots are not just flashes but in your face. This might be too ecchi for my tastes but I love the premise of mecha musume. If only this show handled the fanservice like Sora no Woto and Girls und Panzer... ie cute but not eechi or overtly so. Note, this is also a mahou shoujo show! Who doesn't like mahou shoujos are sinners who deserve to be eaten by zombies. Magical zombies. Mahou shoujo zombies. This manga is too ridiculous.

Its kind of hard to mess up with a beat'em up. I liked what I saw in the video. I suppose if enough of us are interested, we could gang together to get the 4 pack. $10 CAD per person. Honestly, all the upper tiers are kind of useless... but I suppose I can drop $5000 CAD for a geologist boss. Sledge hammer heavy attack, rock pick medium/light and various kind of rocks for ranged. I also suppose I can attack with my stench of being out in the field for a week or more.

A quick rumble will cue you to check your watch If you want the email you can just leave it or swipe it one way to mark it as "read". Swipe the other way to delete it. That would be pretty nice. When it comes to the Gear and other smart watches, its going for the small things. I personally could see myself using it in the car to skip to the next track or even switch to a new playlist. Answering phone calls would be pretty nice as well. Note, I use the auxillary cable to do all these things. I hate Bluetooth headsets. They never fit quite right with my glasses on and plus, I like to have full hearing in my ear. Again, it is the small things. Now the question of if it is worth $300... maybe? If I'm looking for a nice watch, might as well make it a smart watch. Edit: Also I should invest in a microSD card or... salvage my old one from my Epic. Only when swapping phones did I realize that I didn't have one.

It is dragging out like one since we strayed so far from the original goal... getting to the fucking basement which I suspect is when Eren will get better*. So far, I'm just blanking out on Eren since the other folks are just better. Hell, at this point Eren's story is just a launching point for the story about mankind and titans. FUCK YES. Trails in the Sky is getting a Steam release which includes the sequel. This is big since as far as I've heard, Trails in the Sky is QUITE the wordy series.

Story. It is said to be really solid. It starts off small then shit gets real. The games are also kind of long with the first game being essentially a prologue to the last two (Some people find some faults in this). I haven't touched it yet but it interests me (I haven't watched any sort of gameplay, I want it to be a surprise) but I suppose you kind of have to be fine or like anime/JRPGs tropes.

Well this sucks. My massive sunflower yields mostly empty shells. I think viable seeds are only at 10%-15% Hell, it could be less. This is terrible. With that said, I think it was because it was a lone sunflower*. Still, I'm surprised the sunflower didn't abort the flower and it may explain why this typically single headed variety made a few more after some tossing and turning. With that said, next week I'm going to do a cover crop. I may or may not pull my tomatoes since they are still producing. I'm not planting anything to be eaten so why not. I'll prepare an album of my notes and photos since this was the first full year of me gardening. *While there was mold... I think it was mainly due to just how weak the head was despite its size. That or improper NPK ratios. I suppose an 8-8-8 can't do the job if I fail to fertilize regularly enough for a heavy feeder.

I was asking about the Gear but the price is out there. For the Note 3, I think it should hold at the £450 ($700) mark. On Sony's Smartwatch 2, it is "only" about $50 more than the Gear. I feel at that price difference, the Gear kind of wins out when considering just how in its infancy the smartwatch market is right now*. With the Note 3 (and other popular Android devices like the S4) and the Gear both coming from Samsung kind of make me feel that they will grow with each other thus inspire a bit more confidence. *With the smartwatch being a fairly new concept (at least in its current form), it kind of needs a push (as a product and a concept). A bundle just seems to make sense. As it stands, it looks like I'll be dishing out $500 (Contract priced $200 Note 3 and MSRP $300 Gear), maybe add another $100 for the Note 3 for $600. I feel a rebate program of sort for compatible Galaxy phones would do a good deal of good. It would help push out the Gear to consumers on the fence. I know I am on the fence. As of right now, the smartwatch concept seems as alien to me as smartphones were to me a while back. The first smartwatch that I've heard of was the iWatch which I think should be revealed sometime next week. Honestly, if Apple cannot do it then I don't think anybody can but a combined ripple from Apple and the Android world would help.

Geez, $300 is nothing to sneeze at but $100 with a plan seems fair. Thus I wonder if carriers will do a subsidized price, say with a bundle when you get a new plan or upgrade. If I recall correctly, my Note 2 was $200 or $300 ($700 MSRP), so hopefully $300-$400 for the pair (Note 3 and Gear). With other phones, it would be cheaper (As a bundle). The size problem (Though the Note 3 being slightly bigger is eh-ish but workable) is not what draws me to the Gear but mainly convenience. As I've said, I wear a watch already so it would be nice to be able to read email titles, texts and general stuff without pulling out my phone. I am also in the market for a nice watch so if the Gear can fill the role, then hello Gear. I just have to change up my watch handling habits... I can see a replacement being $100 as well. With durability mentioned, I wonder how it can handle water from hand washing and rain. Hell, sweat may be an issue as well*. As go for it Dean. * As a side note, it seems like I've triggered the submerging sticker in my Note 2... from being hot and bothered? From fog? IDK.

Sora no Woto... I'm currently half way through and it sure skirts the edge of being serious and being K-on with cute girl girls doing cute things. Linked is not SnW by the way, I'm not sure what it is. I think after episode 7.5... comes sadness? Madoka 3rd movie stuff. For those who want to jump in, I suggest the series instead. Now, click if you don't care or if you dare. --- Sora no Woto is done. It was decent and cute. At times I wish it kind of showed more of the darker side of human nature considering the world that the girls live in. The world can be comparable to age after the fall of Rome, in which the "golden" age is referred to the former-era. Tons of advancements were lost and the world had many unknowns out in the wilderness. So imagine if our technology advanced 100 years and suddenly got blown back to early 1900's. Our tech would seem so far out. The surviving people can mimic our relics but to have anything comparable to them is a dream. The world seems to be ending by all accounts. The fire of war is ever present while the no-man lands reach ever farther. So nigga, can we just stop this silly fighting? Sora no Woto was pretty much preaching to me, the choir (I'm kind of like a pacifist) but I liked it. I would recommend it for a nice easy watch. It is a bit fan service-y but it isn't that bad. With that all said... Season 2 when? This world can be expanded on so much.

I'm game for a Note 3, just don't break the screen. The Gear seems kind of neat. I personally can see myself using it since I do wear a watch. So it is a simple switch to wearing the Gear while out and about. If it has good product synergy with the Note 3, then yeah, I can get it. It would be cool to just see text messages or email titles on a watch. If it somehow works with the Note 2 as well, then the better. Please be $100 or at least don't break the wallet. Dean, how do you use your Note? I feel like I'm wasting my Note 2's potential (though its amazing for videos though). Maybe I haven't realized the sidebar potential... when I first saw it I thought it was in the way.

After dealing with stuff over at my folks' place, I can say for certain... I like living away. Amount of problems and issues drop to only those affecting me. They help me out a lot so I'm willing to help but geez, I am two days late in going back to my place.

Either mvk files are harder to stream or because of older hardware but my Note 2 (w/ mp4 files) can run circles around my oldie laptop on streaming from my desktop over wifi.

All other things being equal they shouldn't be any harder to stream as far as the network goes. Are your mkv's maybe at a higher bitrate than your mp4's? That would make them both harder on the network and harder on the hardware. It's also possible that your Note 2 is just more powerful than your laptop. I know my phone kicks the crap out of my old laptop.

MKV is just a container. There's a lot of variables at play you haven't told us about. Also yeah when it comes to video the note 2 is probably just plain better.
