Haha, the fan patch/release managed to get better quality out of the assets than Falcom can with their upgrade. Falcom looks to have just done a simple upscale. No tweaking. Geofront version is the definitive version now. Also Hajimari is releasing in Japan on August 27th. So in about two years from then out West will be about even with Japan. Yeah, I'm including the fan localizations. Speaking of, Ao is not likely to happen with the Geofront team since there is no way to buy the Chinese PC port or at least any obvious ways.

WOOO, my brother managed to get a sale price of 516 bells and I managed to move a majority of it before it fell to 165. Made a tidy profit so I can do some major upgrades now. Hopefully next week will be better for my own island. Moving back and forth to another island is such a hassle, especially when other people are coming and going. Edit: Oh... my price started to go up this afternoon. I probably will have a massive spike tomorrow...

How many you need? I'm not using them yet. As for me, I'm possibly looking at a steadily decrease in turnip prices this week so I might need to go to another island to dump my turnips. I'll be checking with my brothers as well. I got a lot of turnips (1.5 million bells worth) to go through so it'll be multiple trips. I need at least 101 bells each to break even. I'll probably know for sure tomorrow if my Stalk Market is screwed.

Ya'll been having anti-stay-at-home protests? While there's not a lot of them compared to the whole US population but, remember, South Korea's first spike was due to one person, Patient 31. Most of the ~10k infected can probably be attributed to her, directly or indirectly. Similar thing can happen with these folks. So yeah... I want to work and work is generally elsewhere but I'm really hesitant to do so without a game plan that my company can work with. It requires not only state guidance but federal as well and we all know how well that is working. It also doesn't help that I am Chinese American. I feel that I may have a target on my back if I go to more Republican-leaning areas. Like, I feel that I may need to get life insurance, just in case...

I think at least couple comes per night. Usually a handful an hour if they appear. I wouldn't wait for it though. Just stop if you hear one coming since they comes in at least pairs. For me it's enough to get a few wands and a stockpile going. Now, for meteor showers, you can get SO MANY. Celeste will show up AND the villagers will comment on it. I've had Celeste show up to nothing a few times. MOST INFURIATINGLY THOUGH, is that if it rains the next day it can wipe out any star fragments coming to shore. The other night I finally had a meteor shower with like 100 or so per hour. Then yesterday I was going to binge collect, which I kind of did in the sunny morning but then it started to rain and I got nothing after that. I only got like 8 fragments. I've gotten more from a regular, slightly more active night... I'm mad. I would've been more so if I didn't have a stockpile already. A silver lining to yesterday was at least Flick came by and I made bank come nightfall. Paid off a loan a few days early, got a bridge done and doubled my funds (1.5 million Bells) for the Stalk Market tomorrow. Now I have about another one million Bells to pay off... hopefully next week's Stalk Market gains will cover it all. If ya'll ever see 200+ Bells for turnips then please @me here or at Discord.

I got the butt fruit. I got an orchard/grove of all the other fruits. Two waves, two days apart. A fair ~20k each for Able Sisters clothing and other shopping. Not sure if I want to expand it after I get terraforming.

Oh shit. Utsu-P got his own idol group since October. He's producer and instrumentals. Far as I've seen, guy's pretty cool so I wish this idol group well, even with my misgivings about idol groups (I recall him making a song about the dark side of the idol industry so I hope he avoids all them). I hope this is a group that I can be into.

Two of the strongest things in this title is the photo app and how you can customize most of anything. It's stupid how good things can look. If you take your time, this game can reward amazingly. Anyhow, @The Cowboy JRPGing Poet and @TheMightyEthan needs in. I'll leave my island open tomorrow with a Dodo Code. Of course, you two can just pop in to let us know whenever.

About the need to vote yesterday. Anywho, Bernie is out. Best wishes to Biden. He'll need it. And to be perfectly honest, best thing that could happen now is that Trump decides to not go for a second term. Which I'm willing to give him an out for with this COVID-19 mess. Drop out and I'll not relentlessly blame him for 200K dead (at least...). I'll leave all that for after he passes and his children becomes vultures. I'll give him that.

You know, I have a feeling that Biden is taking a page from Trump in that he's ignoring and/or downplaying what he said just days or weeks prior.

There's a lot of reasons why COVID-19 isn't the flu but I hope (in vain?) this can get it through to people that still believe in that fairy tale. Like when's the last time you heard of a head of state getting absolutely clobbered by the flu? And make no mistake, if he is vented then he's in a really bad spot. Anyhow... I honestly not sure on what to say about the state of Mexico as you see it. I got to follow with Ethan's In my eyes, I'm wondering how Mexico is still together and if it will be together after all this. Seems like the president is one step before from telling the country to eat cake.

It's finally done! If you are in anyway a fan of 40K then you should know of this fan series. Park 1-4 are rather grounded and shows the might of the space marines. Part 5... well, there's Inquisitors. I cannot wait to see this continue. It does Warhammer 40K justice that even Games Workshop cannot do. And yeah, quite the contrast to my previous post...
