They're masterworks all, you can't go wrong

13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim Holy shit, I beat a game from this year. Overall I think Vanillaware has hit it out of the park with this one. Very strong story and character hooks to take you on a journey that is mostly a visual novel but there is a sizeable chunk of battle segments. For the most part, the battles are not that hard even on hardest setting but there is a casual setting if you just want to blow through the battles. With that said, hardest will get your brain juices flowing and there are some minor difficulty spikes that you might take a bit to overcome. For issues, I only got briefly stuck in the VN portion due to some obtuseness. Battles... some missions has some performance issues. One might pose a problem for a platinum run but if you setup your party correctly, I think it is possible to just brute force through them for a S-rank (I'm thinking about it since again, it is kind of easy for me).

I think we would all do that for him if the worse happens. Anyhow, a breakdown by the head of UCSF doc. He know his stuff. I think we can add Conway into the figure above. Pence is fine for now, probably, but Trump is in the hospital with supposed symptoms. If true then the 25th Amendment should be evoked which makes Pence in charge. If Pence gets it and goes to the hospital, guess we have Pelosi... Fun times.

May he not have a tube shoved down his throat with his ass to the sky like the many if not all of the 200+ thousands of Americans who have died and the far many more who suffered from it. Good luck and prayers Trump.

I'm glad to have skipped it. I'm just not mentally there to deal with it.

This is so on point. I think most fan or former fans can agree with most/all things or at least can follow the logic.

13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim I got done with the prologue(...?)/tutorial missions. How to describe this game... it is in essence a visual novel intermingled with a SRPG. The visual novel and battle segments can be in real time but can be paused (as in choosing an action) so you can decide what to do. Visual novel segments can/should be repeatedly played so you get unlock more information about X, Y and Z. Replayability also goes for the battles for better ranks and/or sub-objectives. Playing on it's equivalent to hard, you can be in for quite desperate battles due to just how fast you can be melted. Story wise... I'm still piecing it all together but to talk about it just spoils things. The above about how the game goes also provides hints but it is what it is in order to describe what you are getting yourself into. I have come across people who played this when it was Japanese only and they are all tight lipped since they all believe this game is to be experienced. What little I have played makes me agree. Play this game! My unproductive ass is quite enamored by this game. It starts out quite typical but quickly turns into a roller coaster. But if I may get something out my system AND TO BE SURE, don't go looking at this spoiler (for the general feel and theme) if you haven't at least gotten through the tutorials:

RBG probably should've retired back in 2016 so with two seats out, it'd be... a usually reasonable tough sell to not fill those seats for 9 months. Then again it's the GOP we're dealing with and having a 7 judge court would make them think it's okay to let it sit even further. But yeah, I'm hearing about a 18 year term limit being floated around. That's basically a whole generation so would be fine... I guess? John Roberts has been surprising but he is more of a Lincoln Project Republican than say Tea Party+ Trump Cult. While Chief Justice Roberts has his issues, I feel that he tries to fit the ideals and traditions of the Supreme Court. Then again... Bush v. Gore in 2000. Hard to say we can't have something similar in Roberts' court. -sigh-

Got myself a chef knife and a carving/slicer for long/big items since the one I have is shit. I do have some more economical chef knives (Victorinox knives are the way to go) but I wanted a nicer one. These look great and they really don't break the bank. If I like these enough, maybe I'll go for a Chinese style chef knife (my actual go to knife, they basically look like a cleaver) if they ever make one.

I can't say no to Vanillaware. -
I think 2D-ish looking 3D models has come a long way and now can be made to look excellent but yeah, end of an era. We need another Vanillaware stat!

I have the first 15-20 minutes of this soundtrack etched into my soul since it follows the title screen all the way to the first battle or two.

We'll be in good hands

lol on SE and Sony flip-flopping about a PC release now. BUT YEAH, dare I say I'm actually somewhat hyped for a Final Fantasy game after SOOOOO long? It's not a return to Ivalice but something new yet feeling somewhat familiar. There's no fumbling around with new battle system either which must be a boon to development. It's the same one as FFXV but probably more refined. Square Enix probably should've done this since FFXII but I GUESS I could cut them some slack with FFXIII and its direct sequels (it seems to have gotten better than the really noticeable mashing of X and linear corridors). But yeah, I'm really digging the setting and I don't think I'll have any complaints about the battle system. Show me what you got SE. inb4 troubled development for a decade

Ah, I see. Yeah, lots of rocks and shit so things are rather muted. Things are rather conservative so perhaps they'll spend more of the tech power for other things. Also, I forgot about FFXII with a medieval-like setting.
-
I say it's more return to some old roots. The last time it has been medieval like this was like FFIX and to be really true, FFIV. It has been so so long.

I mean, I guess we can pump the heat directly to the ocean/water body. It's not power plant runoff but it makes you wonder if it's a good idea.

I'm being left in the past... -
Umm, how did this BotW-like clone get past me (edit: or did I or someone post about it and I totally forgot since it's 2020?)? I only noticed it when I came across this tweet: That cut animation is pretty damn fly. It made me question what am I looking at? Am I looking at some gacha game or what? I even found the English website here: https://genshin.mihoyo.com/pre-register/?utm_source=invite&invite_code=c7ab35d0706d127961fe0669d16af3a8#/ and it made it to feel like a gacha mobile game but is it? Basically, yeah. It's gacha but the game is an open-world adventure game basically like BotW. It does adds quite a bit of anime bullshit fluff to it which may interest some of you. I'm not sure why there's gacha since the core gameplay seems fine if grindy. If anything the gacha makes the game even more grindy than it has to be. You get rid of the gacha and balance it without that and you might have a banger of a game. As for platforms... It's coming for, yes, iOS and Android, but also for PS4, Switch and PC. It should be coming out this month on the 28th but we'll see. Price is... free? I'm still not sure what's up. Just charge me $60 waifu bucks and make it gacha-less. I'm not even sure how the "free" gacha model works for PS4, Switch and PC...

The story is going to be grim... And you know Link's final level. I want some BotW2 news...
