Sure we sort of knew how each character felt but to see it in a show makes it so much better. Another example is Jamie's part. I knew the Mad King was mad but I don't recall him ever ordering a pyromancer to burn King's Landing to the ground. Also the details of how he did it.

I got a tree, wheat, water melon and pig farm going. I also got a cobble generator going. So once you get here you'll be set, more or less, since I've been gathering material. The current production area (Farms and generator) I think would be a common area. We can pretty it up later as we get the production of various stuff going.

For the last two weekends, I've been eating local grass fed beef. From a local ranch that I could walk to but I buy it from the farmers market. Curiosity prompted me to do this after hearing how grass fed beef taste different and seeing friends buying it. Last weekend I had a stir fry mix (~$9/lbs), so stuff that didn't made the cut for other cuts. I might have overcooked it or something but I still tasted a slight difference. Now today I tried out a flat iron steak (~$12.50/lbs). I taste it for sure now and I say, it taste like beef heart. Tenderness is good too, not too chewy. I would love to continue but this is expensive...

Oh wow, the survivors of the seeds that I put in my bed finally germinated. I given up hope. Anyways, I spy two squashes and one unknown. I'm guessing the rest got eaten. Anyways, I transplanted them to a more open spot that I cleared that had two struggling (Slug/earwig ravaged) potato plants. I'm eating the tiny spuds right now. Quite tasty. Still kind of weird eating what I have grown though. Anyways, the main things that I wanted was the squashes, so I am happy. I'm suspecting that they'll go places once summer is on me and will take over the bed once the tomatoes are done. I do recall that the ones I planted last year germinating around this time of year. I harvested those squashes around November.

Both. I needed to go somewhere that was about 10 miles out of town for a plant ecology class. I know someone who lives there so that was my motivation to do the ride (Someone who can help me if something happens). So 10 miles for both ways and another 11 for misc. stuff.

Rode about 31 miles today, on and off. I so deserved that burger and fries. Its good to know for sure that I perhaps I have the potential to do a 50 mile ride.

A recent (mentioned Newtown) episode of Vice showed a private school with armed faculty and "trained" student body. Not quite sure what to think.

Well since I have an Ethnic American Literature class... I'm currently reading Breath, Eyes, Memory. Finished part one and well... fuck. I suspected it but it still sucks. This might be an interesting read. Anyways, next book is the The Brief Wondrous Life of Oscar Wao.

Hahaha, oh wow. I finally feel loved by my department. My department is called NRES (Natural Resources and Environmental Management) which formed from the merger of the NRM (Natural Resources Management) and the Earth and Soil Science departments. Guess which side took over the most. Now, my concentration is pretty damn new (Started in 2011). I came in around that time and in all this time I don't recall seeing ever one posting about geologist jobs. Until now. Someday, this department will be balanced and that posting by the department head make me feel like we are heading towards the right direction... sort of.

Space Battleship Yamato is indeed a classic. I just never got around to it for reasons, one is being its age. Anime from that time period is funky (See Captain Harlock... absolute badasses but I need to finish it). Anyways, you just gave me the small push to watch the remake. The second show also have caught my eye, I just haven't gotten around to it. I'm waiting for it to get further along before I jump on. Same thing with the other mecha series by Bandai, which could be another Gundam SEED clone (Which is a MSG 0079 clone).
