Okay, I'm annoyed. Seems like my squash seeds got lost in transit (I never noticed it in the mail and hell, I don't recall seeing any mail for almost a week) and the folks who run the joint didn't respond to my email. I'll give them a ring tomorrow. ALSO I somehow put in my parents place for my tomato seeds. Nobody there knows if it got there and if it did it got lost... like my first renewal of my CA driver license and car insurance card. Looks like I mistyped my parent's address as well... WTF? Fuck me. So I'm what... 2 weeks behind schedule?

I had $28 in old Gamestop giftcards and I was around... so impulse purchase. Thus another non-PC game added to my backlog. Rare thing.

Preorder of the English versions of these three. Nobody is even sure how the cover is going to be like and I'm not sure if I got my preorder in on time since these guys are on a limited run. If you are wondering, they are graphic novels that centers around the One Year War in the UC timeline. Its an alternative retelling of what happened in the anime, with some differences. Amuro Ray, Char Aznable, true-blooded Zeon, Ramba Ral, oh my. Volume 1 drops on March 12th, 2 on June 18th (Day before my birthday ) and the third on Sept. 17th. THIS IS NO ZAKU BOY, NO ZAKU! SIEG ZEON!

So, I'm giving this a go right now. Its interesting, I suppose. Some glaring issues so far. Not too sure if I can talk much about it? Besides, it is beta. So I'll withhold judgement. I'll say this though: It feels like Planetside 2, for me at least.

Ace Combat for PC? This is awesome but I don't recalll just how good this one is. I just recall it changing things up quite a bit.

Ace Combat isn't Godawful - it's just not the kind of game Ace Combat fans had come to expect. So they called it godawful. See also: Fan reaction to any other video game franchise that has had the balls to significantly change itself.

Huge changes to mechanics within a franchise is stupid. If they want to make a different kind of game then they should make a different franchise. The exception in my mind would be spinoffs.

Maybe the world of dubs has changed but I expect the dubs of Girls und Panzer to be odd... we got 'Murica'd, German'd, Russian'd, British'd and Italian-ized teams. If only if they can troll dubs... This anime is just cute girls doing cute tanks things. Just ignore the massive plot armor and you'll be set. Also every girl is best girl. Seriously.

Not quite sure if this related tangent should go here or world politics but... What do you folks think about US involvement in this pretty little leaf? I feel that this could eventually become a direct problem for the US if something, I don't know what or how, is done. The Mexican government just can't win this war against the cartels and the cartels don't want to completely stomp the Mexican government (since then the whole of Mexico would be their problem).

Lagunitas Sucks is a damn good beer. Smells so fantastic and goes down smooth with tons of layers. If I was a girl, I would want this as my scent. Lagunitas have been impressing me a ton since I tried their IPA a month or two back. Yes, their IPAs and such are bitter but they have so much other things going on to balance it all out. They also makes a fantastic imperial stout. Speaking of which, I got myself a 2011 Parabola. With that, I think I'll go broke.
