Well I see it as "Falkland Islands (Islas Malvinas)", but in Argentina they see it as "Islas Malvinas" It's kinda weird we get the Argentinian name in brackets, but they don't get ours. On top of that with previous games were you were jacked on refunds, or at least much harder to push through, it was $60 WB still have for a broken game rather than $0. I'm not an economist or overly great with explaining things but: if you have money you plan stuff out on the basis of having that money in the comings however long, if that money is then taken away from you, those plans are bust. As folks have noted them pulling it from sale is likely less to do with trying to fix the game, and more that it coming so soon after the rather publicized Steam Refunds is likely not doing wonders for their bottom line. But does send quite a damning message to a lot of PC devs to not piss about with the port.

Also on the battle mode yeah choosing the LT as the change and X as brake/reverse is a wee bit silly given it's opposite to most other driving controls. A X toggle would make much more sense (in fact I might see if I can change that when I get home). Not encountered the detective mode/batmobile mix-up so far (though I remember in some cases detective mode not triggering when expected) but I guess that's funny. "I need to do a deep tissue analysis on this *screeeeechhh...boom*....the victim was involved in a posthumous hit and run. No evidence of who did it...tootettoot"

LBP was just a pain to use though. The creation tools are the crux of a game like this. NodNationRacers for all it's faults with loading was great at creation, just drive where you want the track to go then tweak & refine.

Main issues I had was: If you preloaded before US launch the decryption didn't work (but I caught that in the morning so just redownloaded while I was at work). When I first launched it the game ran the benchmark fine, though in game outside the initial cutscene it ran super sluggishly, so I got to Gotham PD, had it save (got I had auto-save only games) and quit. Noticed there was a Nvidia driver, ran that and hey presto I've had no bother since. I also added -nologo but I doubt that's the solution

Or maybe he did and that briefing was horrible. Or brutally honest but didn't end with "obviously don't say these things to the game playing public. hahhah oh god I don't think he heard that part."

I've upgraded to Windows 10. Looking for any app recommendations (though best I can tell I've got the 3 half decent ones and they're not that half-decent). Considering it's using the appstore from Windows 8 it's pretty paltry collection for nearly 3 years of effort. I can only assume the low adoption rate n confusing RT version didn't help, but Win 10 should hopefully solve that. Also if someone can point out where to do the independent multi-monitor wallpapers cos I can't find those settings, so far it seems much the same as Windows 7 had except I had to disable it duplicating the taskbar across both screens (Cos I totally need to see that twice in case I forgot what I had open). Also I can't disable the language notification, in case I suddenly want to speak american. Other quirks, and this might be a preview thing, is that Cortana doesn't work in the UK which is odd cos if you click the "Learn More" it totally lists the UK along with several dozen other countries and languages, so not sure what's up with that. Oh another quirk is the default on express install is to connect to any open wifi, despite in the custom settings it explicitly stating this is a security risk. So well fucking done there. Oh and it lost Virtual Windows from the earlier build which is weird/disappointing. Thing is there's a reference to it in the Control Panel/"Settings" (oh yeah "My Computer" is now "This PC", not sure on the purpose of the change except for corporate where it's likely to not be your PC and likely to not even be your personal work PC a fair chunk) edit: I've found Virtual Desktops (it's in the alt-tab-ish "Task View" manager)
