I'm gonna guess, given I used the IGN list, that I've put EA's time down for MS (hence down for 9pm over here). non-alternating row colours for the loss.

Hmm, maybe try a hard refresh (shift+F5)? With the minor upgrade to the site and the plug-in might be a couple things cached that shouldn't be.

I've added the various times to the calendar, I've used GMT, not sure if it'll auto-correct to you based on your region or not. Any who times for; US - http://uk.ign.com/wikis/e3/E3_2015_Live_Streams_and_Press_Conferences UK - http://uk.ign.com/wikis/e3/E3_2015_Press_Conferences_UK_Times OZ - http://uk.ign.com/wikis/e3/E3_2015_Press_Conferences_AU_%26_NZ_Times Anyone not born in those regions will have to get out a calculator.

I've updated the Tapatalk "plug-in", let me know if it changes much.

New patch breaks mutagens. Need to drop it to craft another, so you can get up to the "greater" types. :/

Yeah that happens, I think game is mostly balanced on doing main quests with bit of hacking bits up on the way. As for passes, I got onto Novigrad a similar way. You get stuff eventually.

Did you not pop back?

In general not sticking your neb in folks affairs, generally remaining neutral is meant to be the witcher way. But not always best way to play the game (and I'm becoming increasingly aware of how I'm not playing it. I've been in the Witch Hunters faces a bit too much*). Also in most "how things turn out" it's much the same result, just with how you go about doing it. *GOH ain't far enough for this but

http://tinywoodenpieces.com/issue/wild-hunt-for-foil-rares/ # Boardgame webcomic I read touches upon Witcher 3. edit: In fact not only boardgamey-Witcher 3 overlap. A discussion of the swords on reddit someone linked a video talking about swords on the back and I'm like "huh, that's Lloyd I play boardgames with". Link to video in question: https://youtu.be/IocQ_DZVAU0?t=71 He's a fun guy, something to discuss next session (he loves getting a chance to rant).

It does get more interesting these days, talking with your mum online and being "so how's the weather ""Oh a storm just hit" "oh that'll be the one we just had". Also weather is hectic enough that knowing ahead of time if you want to bother with a trek out to town or not, it'll be somewhat calm and sunny moment one day and pissing down half an hour later.

It's going to be one of those hard sells, cos most controllers come with a console so you kinda get used to them by having no choice really, but this is different and new, and maybe not something folks will be happy to splash £40 on without a trail run first (Though I guess as long as you only test it for under 2 hrs and return it within a fortnight you can get a refund). Personally I'm pretty happy with my wired 360 pad, though I know folks are harping on DS4 being the new pad for PC and maybe I'll look into it one day (but unlikely at a £50 price point and, well my 360 pad still works) edit: Oh yeah I didn't catch on this cos I guess I'd assumed in 2015 it'd be otherwise, but it comes from the Xbox school of controller design where it's powered by AA batteries instead of sticking in li-on or similar. Also it's wireless via a dongle, like the wireless 360 pad, rather than bluetooth so there's that as well in case you figured you'd ever use it with anything else or..a macbook or something.

Han is now canonically not as Solo as he used to be: http://www.geek.com/news/marvel-just-gave-han-solo-a-canonical-wife-1624311/

I guess the main thing with that being taking and dealing with multiple queries at once, which is sort of a natural evolution of existing PA apps in existence already. Knowing all that stuff is slightly less impressive however. Most of it's stored on https://www.freebase.com/ (soon to be https://www.wikidata.org/wiki/Wikidata:Main_Page), which Google have owned for some time (and you've likely noticed over the years an increase in "Answer Boxes" and "Knowledge boxes" popping up in searches). They're a bit of a pain for my current job, people used to like typing with short queries to get what they want, but with voice they can input much longer nuanced queries just as easily (e.g the restaurant one). It's a shit ton harder to predict for. (though as an end user it's a great. Personally my fave is for weather, but I am british)

It's worth noting I got pinged yesterday about an update to the Tapatalk plug-in yesterday (seems they've revamped it a bit, but also seems to imply it's for the newer IPB version). Though I'm not sure if they'd do anything that'd mean it'd cause issue to the app (especially as the update email was only sent yesterday, some of us have to wait to the weekend to do stuff) In regards to most Tapatalk-ey related problems though, might be best going to them. I basically update the plug-in as n when but other than that know little of it. Tbh my main issue is if you have one notification it takes you straight to the post in question, but multiple it just loads the dashboard/home tapatalk page and not the forum notifications screen which is annoying.

D'aww, Geralt has a baby in the oven.

I'm not sure what you're seeing and not seeing. The video above for the Steam controller shows a on-screen virtual keyboard style interface, same as Playstation n Xbox have had the last two-gens. The image I posted shows the "lotus" keyboard Valve put in Steam ...gods maybe years ago at this point. The lotus keyboard is 4 charachters laid out like on petals of a lotus, point the stick at a petal, then ABXY to pick the character. triggers n bumper to apply modifiers.
-
Originally they had this: Which was pretty sweet. Has auto-correct/predictive text too to speed things along. Must faster than moving a cursor across rows of keys on a virtual keyboard (designed in reality for 8 fingers and two thumbs)
-
Not entirely sold. Seems they ditched the lotus keyboard for some reason. Stupid as shit to do so, I loved it, much better than anything console guys had tried with the whole "emulate a keyboard on screen" thing.

From all the material I've seen it looks like next-gen only, and PS4 doesn't have the problems that PS3 did, like a weird architecture and separate, limited pools of RAM, so I don't think there's any reason to think it won't run right on PS4. That remark was more of a generic "for 4 games it ran like poop on a third of the platforms, even when they remade the engine as "Creation"" (I used PC, so not a personal issue but I imagine not one PS3 owners were fond of), to go along with much of the "they never bothered much with the technical side of things". One thing I remembered today was the loading screens for entering caves n buildings, kinda hoping that goes away, it's quite "last gen". Especially with the vastly improved RAM, would hope they can hold a building interior in the memory.

Picked up one of these cos my G5 has been dying of late. It's had a good run. It feels kinda gimmicky, but kinda fancied somethign a bit beefier. It certainly feels solid. edit: the pointer doesn't work. That sucks.

http://www.comicbookresources.com/article/marvels-all-new-all-different-universe-what-we-know-so-far Some bits about post-Secret Wars. Not that I'm really tracking this stuff, mainline DC/Marvel stuff has way too much shit to care about the likes of Secret Wars/Convergence. Mainly follow bits through friends that do. Seems they're maybe doing a not-Logan Wolverine (and similar with Spiderman and Hulk...maybe it'll be like Thor, with "spiderwoman" and "she-hulk". That'd be crazy! )

If A.A Milne was wrting books today he'd have to add tigger warnings.

I guess that makes it an even fairer comparison if staff are much the same level. Skyrim n Witcher 2 came out same year too, both sporting "new" engines, though only one in actuality was. As noted Bethesda also have benefit of being able to get an ear from id as well (tbh it seems silly of Zenimax to buy a company and its engine, make a declaration they're not doing id tech 5 third party like the prior version, then not actually use it beyond id..who'd have used the engine anyway). Sure the graphics don't need to be "oh my god it's like real life", and a strong art direction throughout can help (see Portal/early TF2), but their art direction for Fallout 3 was "add a green filter". I enjoyed FO3 n New Vegas (latter being my GOTY), but they're years old at this point and the first taste of Fallout 4 showing it seemingly making use of thier dated engine to underpin thier game implies they'll have much the same dated game structure layered on top of that, just in a new locale. It's a new generation, opportunity to spread wings and try to shake things up a little rather than just "skyrim with guns". It's E3 in a week or so, I guess we'll likely see some gameplay then (the trailer being gameplay does imply they're quite a bit further in dev than the announcement stage).

http://www.newscientist.com/article/mg22630243.300-worlds-first-biolimb-rat-forelimb-grown-in-the-lab.html#.VXAX-_9VhBc Researches develop lab grown rat limb, obvious hopes down the line to be able to do it for people and just sew on a new arm made from patients tissue instead of using prosthetics/bionics.

It's worth noting the above is a mod, which the Boston thing has been known with a fair degree of certainty for a while so easy to slip in and not some long-term foreshadowing Obsidian cleverly slipped into the game. I've seen the graphics thing being better put which is basically: The graphics heavily imply it's still a Gamebryo game, same engine that Bethesda have been using for at least a decade. It got a nice bump in Skyrim from what it managed in Oblivion/Fallout but still carries under the hood much the same jankiness and it's quite likely FO4 will carry much the same jankiness n quirks (such as not running right on Playstation) Bethesda manage to have put in their prior games. The only major positive at this point is modders are familiar with it and it means TES/FO games get a lot of mod support. However it's been 4 years since their last game, they've had id at beck n call for 6 years, it doesn't speak great of them when they're still hacking away at Gamebryo/Creation even with a new gen as an excuse to fix things up. Comparisons to Witcher 3 might be unfair, but given similarities it's easy to make and it's kinda poopy a decades old studio is popping out the likes of the above on a third party engine, and a small relatively new Polish studio is popping out the likes of Witcher on their own engine. edit: I'll likely be picking it up, treks through the wasteland are cool and I'm hoping Bethesda have taken some lessons from Obsidian (though Skyrim lacked the, but fair enough given Skyrim was likely in hefty development by time New Vegas was out).
