I watch stuff if I'm stuck on a particular bit, wanting ot see how others do it. But no don't really "get" LPs much. If anything time spent watching others play games is time I can spend playing my own games.

So just a quick post to gush about the loading screen that comes up when loading a game save. Dandelion giving a recap of your current adventures is great. Really nice touch.

Just watched Battle of Blackwater Bay this morning. Very explosive. Quite a good episode for pushing forward characters. Onwards to the Series 2 finale. Currently good pacing, might even get to watch end of series 5 with everyone else. edit: For Red Nose Day:

Ah that explains a bit. I thought I was just really shit, cos yeah counters n parrys didn't really work on the ghouls wandering around.

My only issue at the moment is that the "locate item of interest around me" used to be a L-stick click, and would hover around items for a while. Now it's "Witcher senses" powered with a maintained LT, which also skews vision and such too. Produces same orange glow around objects and herbs n such. Other than that of what I've played so far it's kinda nice. New in-game game to play as well. Certainly much bigger than the other games too, I think will be a bit more Witcher-ey too as well, rather than some of the previous games with political intrigue n such (no doubt that'll come into play, but at the moment most of the quests I've picked up have been to get rid of creatures n such around the area). Horse is a bit fiddly to dismount, but I like the "just hold A n it'll follow the road", which is really good since around the first village is some level 6 Drowners, so yeah I think you're not meant to stray too far at first. Though a bit silly Drowners would cause issue for a witcher such as Geralt

Eh, the cartopn joker was never that messed up, at most he went to nearly kill the guy that killed batman. Comic book Joker stapled his face back on, but hasn't tattooed it with characteristics.

More people have played Minecraft too, might as well slap that in as well. Anything that "someone" will find value in. Pretty sure there's no value added in having a match 3 game pre-installed, not even in the case of Minesweeper/Solitaire as a "teaching computer basics" (especially when it's a ported over phone game). "Someone" finding value in an application is a pretty low barrier of entry. The barrier for entry here is kickbacks to MS, and it's not like we're gonna play dumb on that one. Adverts in windows 8, F2P in Windows 10. It's a wee bit concerning on their methods of generating revenue from the OS.

Because companies use it? Same as there's likely still the fax tools included too. Bonus with that is it's likely only a few hundred kb at most, whereas CCS is 46MB on phone and likely much not smaller on PC, which given the whole issue with Windows 8 being too big on Surface tablets, you'd think they wouldn't want to fatten it up with crap like CCS which is easily grabbed by those that want it off the store. Maybe if they wanted to put in a tile or something that encourages folks to come to the store n use it with CCS as a carry on a stick.

Nope, never heard of it before now... There's loads of popular shit, why force this into the install? If it's popular stick it on the Store n let folks grab it for themselves who want it. What is improved about Windows 10 by having a popular mobile phone game included as part of it?

Oh they do mention that it's on Windows Phone as of Dec last year, but yeah funny it's not cross platform with Windows Phone users. And yeah it's getting taken off ASAP. Not super keen on something not made by MS being in the OS from the get go.

Though chatting with housemate it'd make sense to have him go at some point if jsut to get past the "why doesn't superman rescue that plane/train/woman/moon/etc".
