Oh yeah, big pet peeve with this game, and maybe there's a setting to sort it out, is when you jump between characters, or die or whatever, it resets your clothes. The game lets you spend thousands on suits, jackets, trousers etc, then lumps you in the default clothes most of the time unless you luck out by switching to a character when they're at home and you can easily change. I had Trevor in underwear for a fair while because I started in middle of nowhere n couldn't be bothered to head to his home (which'd likely kill me anyway) to change. I'd got him a nice brown suit n had him all "crazy history professor" kind of look.

Maybe halfway or so. With the way it works with inter winding missions hard to keep track. But I guess with that particular group of people you're fairly early days.

It's always a good idea to check if something has a cost.

He didn't say he overclocked a dual core to become a quad core, he upgraded from a dual core to a quad core. Sure these days many games rely on GPU for most of the frame rate eating stuff, but it'd be silly to deny the CPU isn't a factor at al in boosting framerates, especially where AI and such that run through the CPU are concerned. Also depends on the game, Civ V is quite CPU heavy compared to GPU heavy.

Eh, it's been a hollywood problem for a fair while now, folks don't make films they make franchises. Hence picking up a lot of adapted works that are in a series, such as Harry Potter, Hunger Games, Avatar: The Last Airbender, 50 Shades, His Dark Materials, Enders Game etc. Not all of them pan out, but the studios don't want to throw a lot of money into a film they'll only get one lot of money back from it these days. I think it's why we also get a fair few directors pulled in from TV too, they're used to directing things that flow into each other as a series. I think the newer Planet of the Apes is quite good, it's a complete movie in itself, but the end credits set up potential for a sequel, or just a nice pretty bow to wrap up the film.

Unlikely to have been a coalition even if they'd not reached majority. Would have been enough to command a minority government. Voting reform was pushed for last time, and didn't happen. Not sure it'll happen this time even if it can be clearly broken down how weirdly it all is: Con have 37% of the votes, 50% of the seats. Lab have 30% of the votes, 35% of the seats. SNP have 5% of the votes, 9% of the seats. Lib Dem have 8% of the votes, 1.2% of the seats, n UKIP has 13% of votes with 0.1% of the seats, n greens with 4% of the votes n 0.1% of the seats. We barely scrapped into having a majority government, something is up with FPTP.

SNP have taken Scotland by a landslide, 56 of 59 constituencies (up fro 6 last time around) Tories at moment of typing are handful away from a majority. Slim one at that though, got a couple still to call. SNP are third largest by seats, but UKIP are third largest by votes (though thankfully only the one seat so hardly any sway, but says something of some of the people living here). I don't have much of a horse in the race, beyond the theoreticals of power and business getting pulled from the North East, what little is left this day n age, should Scotland have dropped corporation tax or similar moves. On the other hand would have been interesting to see what it'd be like to carve up the UK. But we've had this discussion before.

It ended up fairly close, 55% to 45%. And the end result was mainly tories pushing essentially for devolution of English powers, rather than "huh, nearly half of the country north of the bordered wanted to leave us, maybe we should treat em a bit nicer".
