As with all types of predictions he's near the mark with a few, and off the mark on others. Always nice to have a look back, sets us up in store for what's to come. Automeals - Not quite there. We have microwaves and ready-meals, but nothing where your food is made on demand. Communication via video - We're kinda sorta edging there. For the most part we still use voice and text to communicate, video calling is very feasible just not as popular as anticipated. Telephones used for books and photos - Yeah we got that. Electroluminsicnet panels - man I want those Cloud Atlas walls. We however lack them and have good old fashioned wallpaper and bulbs. Though some bulbs, with advent of LED, are colour changing. Yeah we have shit robots. Still have wires. We still drive with wheels. This one seems to be a common prediction for stuff like this. I don't think in even in 2114 we'll have flying cars. Vehicles with robot brains - Yep. That's actually correct to the year (ish, 2013 saw legislation brought in but non sold to public yet AFAIK) We have really big TV panels about the size of a wall I guess. Holographic/3D video still in infancy. 7 billion not 6 billion. We have Quorn I guess, but most part still eat regular farm grown foods. Did have first lab burger last year though. Schools still not quite grasping the world of "Oh shit we need to teach people computers". Many jobs taken over by computers though. More n more checkouts being replaced by self-service. I'd say we're the least bored of any time period so far. In fact the very opposite of bored, over stimulated with it's own set of societal and psychological problems. Work - HAHAHAH

Yeah you mentioned that it was a replay, and yeah I added it to the list. I don't add the stuff like "I played it for this ending, now to do the other three ending" type stuff (mainly cos I think with most of those it doesn't involve a complete playthrough), but if you're spending 20hrs to play and beat a game I'm not too fussed if it's the first time of the one hundredth.

Yeah, Disney have their own studios and they're reigning things in. If it weren't for Deadpool going down at the time of being community choice at the time they were pulled I've a feeling it would have taken a bit longer to notice. On the piracy side, with them being taken down there's now no actual legal method to acquire the game anyway. Which means there's a service problem.

Well it happened a while ago, just it kicks in at the end of 2013 (aka today). When Bethesda bought the rights to make Fallout 3 and so on that left Interplay with Fallout 1, 2, and Tactics for a limited time. The recent lawsuit between the two over Fallout Online hammered it home and now it's Bethesda's to do with what they want and that've had it pulled from GOG. Likely due to the fact they're quite friendly with DRM and GOG is not.

I've added most of the 2013's on there. Top Beaten Game of 2013 on here, though there's still a few hours to go, is: Tomb Raider: Infinite. Followed by Last of Us and Grand Theft Auto V. In total we have beaten roughly 327328 playthroughs across roughly 193194193 titles, and 6 of those are about Dragons. I say "roughly" cos some of it is DLC stuff which I'm not sure where that fits these days. Also there's likely to be typo's on some of them. Oh and not a biggy, but pictures are cool and all, but add the name of the game in the post too cos otherwise sometimes the image goes walkies. Fuck You FLD. Fuck you. edit 2: Also the dates are by NA release, since most of us are NA and where there's a yearly discrepancy it tends to be due to a JP release first, like Ni No Kuni

Still wrapping my head around it, since I'm pretty sure they actually paid me to take the watch. Or for the one month of GeekSquad stuff. I guess I'll play around with both for a month and figure out which one they'd have to have paid me to take.

And CyberRat picked me up Saint's Row IV. Which should be pretty fun to play, SRIII was pretty good when I got into the swing of things (and what I've played of IV it's fairly similar antics)

Despicable Me 2. It's kinda like Despicable Me 1, but instead of the theme of fatherhood now it was motherhood. Along with various capers and such along the way. I felt it seemed much shorter, not much happened and it was all resolved rather quickly which was slightly disappointing. I quite like how obvious they made it who the bad guy was, would give kids watching something to feel smart about where the AVL adults are all not believing Gru.

Yeah, episode was filmed on an old army base and since dead tanks are a PITA to move, they whacked a Dalek whisk and plunger on it so folks with sharp eyes would go "cool, Dalek Tank" rather than "why is there a British army tank on Trenzalore?"

Maybe in the US you have options to put in multiple card details for payment but over here it's only the one. Over here we also have cinema tickets are quite pricey, but I hear similar complaints in the US too. And as already mentioned in the previous post regardless of who came late, he could have been first one there and someone else turning up equally late, circumstances would have still meant missing the film due to the person's timing not their income. His income only comes into the equation if it's an occasion we'd be reserving seats anyway. You're the only one in this that's giving this person any other social standing above other people due to their income.

hehe Amerifat. Yes we can order in advance, already said that. We're a few hours ahead in timezones, not a few decades behind. Also what social standing? I said he's better off, not that he's a noble. Went to the same uni as half of us, lives in the same town. Just has a programming job that currently pays better coffee shops and national trust does. Also he was late, that's why we didn't get to go that night. If someone else was the same amount of lateness circumstances would dictate we'd have also missed the showing too. And would also have led to that person being the one not invited to the second crack at going to Hobbit. You must have some very weird friendships if you measure people by alpha/beta and social standings and not "they like board games, video games and nerdy films, I do too, hey, friends!"
