  1. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Assassin%27s_Creed:_Revelations#Retail_editions Via P4warrior. It's all a bit of a joke isn't it.
  2. In other news I've re-added the media button, and also a spoiler button. It's 16*16 if anyone wishes to submit something better.

  3. Pretty good, for example they'll give you a free copy of the Jurrasic Park game.
  4. Because it'll be a really good game. I want one that I can keep in the wrapping, one to put on Steam and the other in case I lose the first.
  5. The music has been ripped: http://forums.ffshri...-gamerip-97779/ MP3 n FLAC Downloading right now. As far as the quests go I have a feeling the procedural ones ("Radiant Story" I think is the name of their system) will stand out a bit from the normal pre-made quests. I think they're more gonna be like the blue quests you get in RDR while walking along (the "convicts have escaped/my wife is kidnapped/stole my horse" types). I was thinking more along the lines of sharing them as the fun and weird ones that may crop up for us. edit: hmm so I'll add this to a spoiler regarding the music: For those not wanting the full 600megs worth here's the two I think you want: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/2066351/Random%20Files/mus_intro.mp3 http://dl.dropbox.co...s/mus_intro.mp3 http://dl.dropbox.com/u/2066351/Random%20Files/mus_maintheme.mp3 http://dl.dropbox.co...s_maintheme.mp3 I have no effin idea how to let you download them. It turns it into a media player every time I put in the URL. edit2: I disabled the auto media-embedding. I'll sort out getting a button put on the main bar. Right click the links and "save as"
  6. btw what are we counting as spoilers? Like some quests are procedurally generated so would that matter too much? Will talking about the towns spoil much? Obviously story elements = spoiler, but other stuff I'm unsure. My measuring stick is skewed by the fact I hang out with ben who counts anything more than this as epic spoilers. Oh and in other news the 360 version (which I'm pretty sure is the version given out for reviews) is now leaked and on the webs.
  7. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/science/science-news/8857154/Worlds-most-powerful-laser-to-tear-apart-the-vacuum-of-space.html And then you remember that sci-fi film from the 70s with that space station with a giant laser operated by Brits. Thing is parts of this, well the prototype, will be housed in three countries. How big is this going to be exactly?
  8. "Playstation Bob" That guy sounded too excited. I think their problem is they don't push it as much as they could/should. I think it's a good idea, and it could grow into something neat, but I don't think making it a "your games are on a shelf" type thing would work at all (cos it never ever has before). Having some mini-games, unlocking content for other games would be neat. Make it like a low scale MMO. For early buyers it's certainly something that can be neat, the games library isn't so great but there's a bunch of mini-games to pop on in Home, chat with folks meet people. If someone is in the Uncharted area it's a good bet they play Uncharted, so could get a co-op buddy. Becoming a lobby, which iirc they did with MAG n maybe Killzone, is something they should work on too. The main problem is it's fucking SLOOOOWWWWWW. (which will be tripley a pain if you went with making it the main GUI).

  11. Yeah it's a Steamworks title. And yes there's a point of not buying it on Steam: It's fucking expensive on Steam. The main issue will be the same as Oblivion. While 99% of mods will work fine (since the game is made to be modded). However because on Steam the exe is in steams wrapper OBSE and/or Wyre Bash won't work. But when you're messing with those you're usually pretty far down the rabbit hole with modding. Could always crack it.
  12. Aren't you missing the link? It was more a tweet than a link. I'm assuming most folks will be able to put two n two together (i.e the 31st October posting date and the "fuck you PC gamers" sentiment to figure it out at least.
  13. Word on the wire is that the bundle will expand with Blocks that matter and Binding of Isaac
  14. I think the point of Charles is he's not meant to have Royal Assent(yet), just his mummy. It seems it's all wrapped up in a bunch of obscure n old laws no one can be arsed to change regarding him being Prince of Wales/Duchy of Cornwall/etc. I also have a feeling the succession law changes won't kick in for many decades yet. From what I can tell the regular chain of succession remains since it's all blokes first. Princess Anne being the youngest child and only daughter. I guess not legally requiring the queens permission to marry is a nice change, the Roman Catholic tweak probably not mattering much either. Didn't know we still had that stuff though, thought "that silly business with the catholics" was ages ago. All my mum cared about is if it meant we could skip Charles. She's not exactly a fan of the idea of King Charles III. From my understanding it's do with Diana. She's not keen on royal family in general due to Diana.
  15. Trailer leaked early!
  16. At my dads old house they had some Americans living a few doors down (who unfortunately also had a fir tree in the front garden). They used to got a bit OTT. Coffins with skeletons n tons of pumpkins n all that.
  17. I know this one has been doing the rounds of late: http://www.guardian....eto-legislation Somewhat unsure what the implication is. By the sounds of it he's veto'd 12 draft bills, I'm unsure how big that is in the grand scheme of things. Oh laws of succession are changiong too. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-15492607 Regarding the Palestinian vote I have a feeling that's a case of "we want to say yes, but we also like being friends with US". Always a bit depressing. I guess it is a change from Blair though.
  18. A thousand dollar halloween costume. You'd think you could get something a bit better for that price
  19. I've never understood why Christians might be opposed to Halloween given the day it's een-ing and that Christians have never really had an issue with taking part in pagan festivals before... I guess I'd be joining in with a disapproval of trick or treats. I won't be handing anything out anyway since I'm in a flat. My mum likes doing the whole trick-or-treating stuff but she has a strong disaproval of teens coming around, especially when most just slip on a Scream mask n that's about it. The Mischief week part could definitely be doing with being curtailed, just an encouragement of yob behaviour. I'm all for kids doing it, and the pumpkins n such are all fairly decent (especially the resultant pumpkin pie n soup). But it's increasingly becoming a cover of being able to go around with a mask n going fucking about. /GTFO my lawn
  20. Oh you're a PC gamer? Well fuck you.
