No that I copy pasted from one of my step-mums emails. She's never really bothered to get a proper personal email. What I have been sent is what I've put up here. No disclaimers, no nothing. Not even a signature or something. Given their legal counsel is their secretary or something I don't think adding confidentially disclaimers to emails is high up the list given that no one even bothered to tell them it was illegal to purchase stolen goods.

Oh yeah while I remember: I do remember on the old place once saying that I was for all intents and purposes practically unbannable because it just wouldn't go down well. I guess I was taken up on that bet... Thing is if I had actually threatened tristan, then surely it would have made sense to go *screencap* "this is why dean was banned" instead of saying I was trolling. Because that would have really bolstered up his reasoning instead of this feeble "You know that dean guy who tips in articles, builds up the community, offers helpful advice. yeah well he was trolling so I banned him". But you can't screencap that which does not exist. Also Chew could probably clear up a bit in regards to what happened cos after I was banned Chew passed on to me something relating to why I was banned. And now for the life of me I can't remember what it was. edit: Yeah I'm used to people passing on things that are meant to be kept completely private either with a preface of "nothing leaves this email" or something similar. Or, and given it's his work email I'm surprised their legal team...oh wait, has written at the bottom. There's several folks on here who know that you put in something to indicate it's to be kept to yourself. And it is. Of course none have accused me of issuing death threats. It's not like I just go around and baring all messages to me to the world. But start accusing me of shit and yeah I'm not gonna keep quiet and roll over on that. P4 seems to match my thoughts in regards to putting stuff up on the web. If you want something to be truly kept to yourself: then keep it to yourself.

Though I guess as we all know from the redesign and their continuing references to "site direction" they don't like to tell everyone what's going on. Meh if that was his reply after me specifically stating "lets just talk on the Steam group" then I think it's pretty apparent the discussions purpose wasn't the steam group but just to throw various rumours against me. So I guess we both come out pretty disappointed. Me because his first reply to the discussion wasn't the steam group but "crecente sez..", and him cos I felt it was so insane, so absurd a thing to suggest that I couldn't keep it to myself. So I guess ends that. Remind me not to get my hopes up that a kotaku writer might actually care more for their community than a person they vilified, ignored, banned,accused of issuing death threats and doesn't read the site any more. edit: When I wrote this Thrusdays was the last reply. So @Goh: I guess you can see the answer now. Oh and there was another guy. I think called Spaz or something. People confused him with me cos he also had a vivi avatar, but his was squashed. There's nothing I remember off the top of my head. We are talking well over a year ago. I know whitemage really had it in for them, though his grudge was mostly with Owen and even then I can't see him saying anything like this. It wouldn't surprise me if it was made up. A little story to help reaffirm that the mass bannings last year were wholly justified. Because while there may have been some reason behind it there was certainly not a single ounce of thought.

Yeah, in my reply I pointed out the validation email probably got caught in their spam filter. Given the nature of Gawker network I wouldn't be surprised if they have an over-active spam filter. I had been curious on him popping up in member list but not saying anything. Just assumed he was having a peek. I did kind of expect something like that back. The results of some internal memo sent around of "I'm emailing this dean guy, what does everyone know". However for that to be the response was totally unexpected.

New Torchwood is out. Its the US made one: Miracle Day (basic plot premise is for one day no one dies.....and then it continues on past one day. I'm watching now, I'll update as n when I've finished.

It's causing a stir on steam. A few folks saying how the original price was a mistake. Others pointing out the new price is the same it's been at all week, not much of a daily deal if the reduced price was a "mistake".

It's coming out 27th July for £20. So yeah that's a nice price. I think I'll definitely be picking this up.

If you've not bought Teraria in todays deal don't bother now. They've just doubled the price. Still cheap, but their tactics are even cheaper. It's not the first game in the sale they've jacked up in price mid sale.

Blood Money, Terraria and the Sup Com 2 DLC. Also Alien Breed 2 and Magicka ticket DLC. Just working out what to spend my other three tickets on. Probably Killing Floor skins.

Green Lantern. It suffered "too many bad guys" syndrome and "we've had a decade of origin stories already, jeesh". Other than that it was okay. It wasn't bad, it just was a bit muddled.

I have the Sup Com 2 DLC (already have the full game) and Terraria in my cart. Just wondering about the Hitman games. Which would be the one to pick up? I've never played them. Just wondering what they're like.

No one can see your circles. It's not even a default option. I'd imagine what you're disabling is for the ability for people to see who is in all your circles. But your circles, and who you've put in which, are for you and only you to see.

Bioshock design has always reminded me of theme parks. Like they makre "real things" but it has this sheen of fakeness and exageration to it.
