  1. http://i.imgur.com/Rq9zqLP.gifv 600 years without having a shit you'd walk like this too. Animations looked a bit funny in the reveal trailer too, but I'd figured "meh this is early on they'll sort it come launch" but that's *counts fingers* not long away.
  2. Oh that second spoiler, apart from the specifics of the post-credits, isn't really a spoiler. The MonsterVerse has been planned out for a while. It's why this incarnation of Kong is phenomenally huge compared to the previous; the old 30ft high Kong wouldn't do much against the 300ft Godzilla. As for this being in the OK Thread, figured as much from it first being shown off. Despite the strong cast it just seemed like it didn't have much heart in it and the "skull crawlers" elements would draw away from a "man vs Kong" type storyline.
  3. And the whole "it's mass effect and they're likely to disappoint than not"
  4. Since I don't have a second controller I've picked up the Jackbox Bundle (currently on sale) to expand multiplayer capabilities of PS4 to play with siblings.
  5. It is a bit weird given its pretty standard on laptops. I guess it's $10 saved? Actually was about to complain about lack of built in wifi too then I had a thought: most of us put our motherboards in a large metal box. Not the best thing for wireless communications... Though could still have the chip built in and an antenna port to run external as wifi is now. It seems pretty basic to include.
  6. I assume, especially given to buy it requires animal skins n such, that it's mainly aimed at taking out wildlife? In other news, I assume at this point most of us have gotten far enough in the game to find out where we are (the first vantage point kinda confirms it, the second makes it super obvious). Anywho, not sure if you find it out in the game (I'm guessing you do given I'm pretty sure I know what the mountain vagina leads to) but the Nora are likely descended from... It's one of those things you see it, you're like "well duh". I wonder where the other tribes come from.
  7. I'll say the hunting stuff for crafting, while it starts out kinda nice gets a wee bit fiddly when you're into "rat bone" and "fish skin" territory. Fortunately as best I can currently tell (Though I've not bought a rattler, no idea what's used for) I've got all the expanded bags except one, needing a raccoon skin which isn't too hard. Big thing now is hunting down various beast hearts so I can get the higher end gear, though some of it absolutely requires killing some of the big beasties. Story wise I've gotten past "faro". Mainly sidequesting/errand running atm though and trying to expand my map. I picked up the golden fast past so I can run around a bit easier. I know some would say it's against the nature of the game, but tbh the regular fast travels aren't exactly hard to get materials for so it's not a huge change to the gameplay and it's nice the option is there.
  8. http://www.geforce.com/whats-new/articles/mass-effect-andromeda-pc-graphics-settings-4k-screenshots PC Specs, settings and some Ansel screenshots should you be wanting to check the PC side of things. edit: and some upgrades and such for the not-Mako
  9. Yeah, looks like it'll be worse that Core, if only because they've a bigger budget to make it more terrible.
  10. Tallnecks are great. And there's only like six of them in the whole game. My fave so far was one doing a path around a pool full of Snapmaws and after circling a bit I just went for a mad dash up their little central island, leaping from an outcrop onto the tallneck before any of them could reach me. As for feeling like a hunter, I'd guess the most comparable game to this is Far Cry, which hunting is mainly done for getting a new wallet. Here there's better sneaking facilities than just "stay out the way", and identifying weakpoints other than "hit it with a lot of machine gun fire until it dies".
  11. The first goes pretty dang cheap at times (was in PS+ a few months back too if you have that), worth grabbing if you're into stealth games as it's pretty dang exceptional. Of Orcs & Men, which came first and I guess is a sort of sequel, is also kinda decent though it's not (entirely) a stealth game, and much more linear in its progression.
  12. I'm gonna wrap this in a spoiler since I guess it spoils something about Ragnarok, but it's something most folks pretty much assume is in it anyway so probs safe. It's just some pre-vix stuff anyway.
  13. I wouldn't be against it. Just under the caveat of you're all adults and any disputes I would expect to solve amongst yourselves. I have had a video game ring (or whatever you might want to call it, lending games to others to pass on then so on) before now, by Dan iirc.
  14. Maybe. Don't think I managed a raid, at least any of the bigger ones.
  15. So a minor glimmer of light in the otherwise hampered Discovery is that Jason Isaacs will be the captain. So you know at least the ship won't have any muggles.
  16. http://no-mans-sky.com/pathfinder-update/ New update for any of you with this game that might fancy a gander back. Really doesn't help remove the "this was a £40 unmarked Early Access game" feeling most have with it.
  17. Goldblum as Grandmaster (one of Benico Del Toros buddies). Expect a lot of info on this film to creep out in the next week or so, maybe even a teaser? (though I imagine most of it will be reserved for GotG 2) http://ew.com/movies/thor-ragnarok-exclusive-first-look-photos/ Some more photos for oogling. Given we have Hulk in this I've a slight feeling that first shot of Thor is actually him as a gladiator on...forget the real name but Planet Hulk. Colourful as fuck though, especially compared to some of the grimness of Dark World.
  18. https://www.congress.gov/bill/115th-congress/house-bill/1275 "world's greatest healthcare plan". sigh.
  19. New firmware features. Liking a lot of the sharing tweaks given Horizon is good for it.
  20. Gameplay video. You're defo going to Osgiliath. And seems your nemesis system gets a massive ramp up. I guess the ring, as the main One Ring, is what lets you control orcs.
  21. Surprised to find this is a late 70s song. Feels quite 90s but I guess that's cos I mainly heard it in 10 Things I Hate About You. Which I guess I may as well:
