  1. Mirror's Edge 2 greenlit, will use Frostbite 2 engine. From: http://sillegamer.com/?p=3584 According to the November 2011 edition of Xbox World magazine, Mirror’s Edge 2 is reportedly in development over at DICE, with the parkour title set to utilize the stunningly beautiful FrostBite 2 engine – ensuring that jaws everywhere will drop when EA eventually makes the highly anticipated announcement, likely to be at the Spike VGA Awards 2011. Fans of the under-rated series have been clambering for news on a potential sequel and will be glad to know that a second iteration in the gorgeous series is confirmed as in development – with the multiplatform title gearing up for a release in late 2012. Check out the rumour below and in the latest issue of Xbox World magazine, available now. ”Better news for anyone who likes beautiful worlds and okay-ish parkour is Mirror’s Edge 2, which DICE and EA have all but confirmed, and which will run on DICE’s eye-destroying Frostbite 2 engine.”
  2. I must be blind or stupid (possibly both) because I don't see it. Kinda-sorta hidden link in the top right, labeled as N7 OPS. Here's the link if you couldn't find it: http://masseffect.com/me3/n7ops/ EDIT: OH HEY NEW SCREENSHOTS. Looks like either the Sentinel or Engineer heavy melee.
  3. ME3 website got updated with some more stuff. There's a mini-game now, might potentially hint at something new in ME3. No clue yet. Also, via Twitter, we'll be able to further customize our quarters in the Normandy (besides just changing music, getting ship models, and getting fish), and there's apparently going to be fleet battles!
  4. The Friends & Family beta of Diablo 3 has started, and despite the NDA, screenshots of it have still managed to leak out. Whoops? Full gallery of images can be found at: http://diablo.incgamers.com/gallery/showphoto.php/photo/6235/title/beta-download/cat/630 I had all the images manually posted, then found out I couldn't post that many. Oh well, you can look for yourself now.
  5. Co-op info was finally released. 1.) Space Marine will have 4 player online Co-Op and will be FREE to anyone who purchases the game. 2.) Co-Op will be Space Marine vs. Orks & Forces of Chaos. 3.) All 3 Multiplayer classes will be available (Tactical Marine, Devastator or Assault Marine) 4.) Multiplayer Perks can be applied to each of the 3 classes that you have unlocked via Multiplayer progression 5.) Co-Op progression will apply to your multiplayer ranking (Unlocks perks & weapons) 6.) Co-Op will initially launch with 2 scenarios: Assault on Hab Center Andreas & Escape from Kalkys Facility. Each will include multiple arenas. 7.) Co-Op will be score based featuring global leaderboards. There will be score multipliers and dynamic challenges to help teams boost their scores. So basically, it's kinda like Last Stand from the DoW series. I was hoping for campaign co-op, but this is alright.
  6. For those of you not looking forward to playing as Ultramarines in singleplayer: http://forums.relicnews.com/showthread.php?262044-Space-Marine-Custom-Titus-Skins-Armour-of-Angelos Currently designed to work with the demo, but the creator plans on having it work with the full game too.
  7. Really? Every time he got close to me, I would just pop my cloak and sprint to the other side of the room, then go back to shooting at him. Wasn't that hard.
  8. Oh lawdy. Hash codes in the news ticker on the main menu of DX:HR. As always, the Steam forums are all over it and trying to decode it. SON, I AM PROUD.

  9. I've thrown stuff around so that a guard would walk over and investigate - and isolate himself from the others. Easy takedown is easy.
  10. Deus Ex. Sorry. Space Marine soon too.
  11. Buy Deus Ex, take home and install it on Steam, take it back and get a $50 gift card. CHEAT THE SYSTEM.
  12. Metroid Metroid 2 Super Metroid Metroid Prime Metroid Prime 2 Metroid Prime 3 Metroid Fusion Metroid: Zero Mission WHERE DOES METROID V GO? Metroid timeline is seriously the most confusing thing ever.
  13. Yeah, a real quick tap is all you need. Takedowns and the tranq gun are your best buddies (stun-gun too, to a lesser extent).
  14. ...I don't remember that at all, so I have no clue how to help you. Sorry. I'm also sad to admit that I couldn't use my 10mm towards the end. After you get past the mid-point of the game, ammo for it becomes more and more rare, and I eventually ran out entirely.
  15. Just beat it.
  16. No AP mods for the rifle, but you can upgrade the damage to compensate. I ran into the oft-mentioned laser rifle and swapped my heavy gun for that (laser rifle can shoot through walls, lolol), and you eventually bump into the plasma gun. I'm nearing the end of the game, and holy hell do things quickly ramp up. You don't really get "punished" for not being stealthy, but the game does give you bonuses if you are - point bonuses are given if you complete objectives without setting off alarms, or even for completing objectives without even being seen (and all this contributes to your experience bar). It doesn't take much to kill you either, so sometimes it pays if you be careful and take enemies out slowly.
  17. You have access to both a revolver and the 10mm, but I've stuck with the 10mm since I'm trying to be all stealthy.
  18. As Total Biscuit said in his video, "I will come to your house and beat you to death with a copy of the 4th edition rules".
  19. Yeah, the 10mm becomes (dare I say it?) somewhat overpowered once you pick up the armor-piercing upgrade. I tend to play stealthy as well - typically carry the tranq gun, 10mm, combat rifle, crossbow, and heavy rifle with me. 10mm and combat rifle both have silencers on them (10mm is by far my most used weapon).
  20. Funny thing about that.
  21. I still enjoyed it, mostly because they live up to the signature "massive amounts of orks". And it's fun to punch gretchin and instantly kill them.
  22. The Blood Ravens are a selectable chapter for play in multiplayer (and you get a bonus skin for them if you preorder on Steam). But I preordered it through Gamestop, because you score a bonus Space Wolves and Dark Templars skin.
