  2. That's the best Mega64 video I've ever seen. And I've seen them all (except for Version 3, which I am definitely ordering after that gold). And once again, Sean's dad steals the fucking show.

He mentioned you both turtled until someone broke through, so you are both probably equally bad/good.

  7. I'd be willing to co-buy it if my brother doesn't want to go in with me.
  8. Would it be immoral to give my brother a copy of The Witcher 2 from GOG? I've already bought it for myself, and he would never share it with his friends.

Do it. 's no different than lending a friend your copy of any other game, book, movie or CD.

I love how GB's quick look is never really quick. It's more like prolongued gazing.

  9. The second point is a very fair criticism of Persona 4. The way the game starts is completely dull, with hand-holding taken to an extreme level for a good hour or so.
  10. Oh my fucking God. My friend decided to rent Sherlock Holmes for the night... except it was the wrong Sherlock Holmes. It was the Asylum version. You all need to see this movie. I guarantee you'll be rolling around, laughing your ass off. Holmes and Watson fight dinosaurs and a giant mechanical dragon, piloted by his giant mechanical brother, while the brother's mechanical wife tries to blow up Fake Buckingham Palace. Tears of pure joy went streaming down our faces as we watched the most intense trainwreck of a mystery movie ever conceived.
  11. So my friend accidentally rented the Asylum version of Sherlock Holmes instead of the Guy Ritchie film. And now I know the tale of Holmes fighting his mechanical brother, who flies a mechanical dragon.

Showtime has tricked me at least twice saying it was playing Sherlock Holmes and giving the Guy Ritchie description only to turn to it and find it was that other one.

      I enjoyed the Ritchie one.

I enjoyed the Ritchie one, too.

I too enjoyed the Ritchie one, and I'm looking forward to the sequel this December.

  12. The first one isn't some holy grail of comedy by any means, but it is very funny.
  13. Where we're going, we won't need eyes to see...
  14. I can guarantee you that Nicolas Cage has been in that situation multiple times.
  15. My suspicions were proven last night; The Hangover Part 2 is not a good movie. It hit the exact same beats as the first movie. Worse yet, most of the proceedings were unbelievably dull. There's no tension, because you already saw this movie once and know exactly how it will end. Ed Helms and Bradley Cooper would be the worst parts of the movie if they didn't think of including Paul Giamatti. Even Zack Galifinakis begins to wear on you before the movie is even close to over. Part II falls into a similar mistake the first movie made; they often rely on Galifinakis to carry the entire show. It worked for the first because we were unaware of just how insane that character was, and the supporting cast did a decent job playing off his antics. Neither of those apply here, and the resulting film is a shallow mess that had me ready to leave 30 minutes in. The only person I consistently enjoyed in the movie was Kim Jeong, reprising his role as Ciao. To recap, The Hangover: Part II goes through the same motions as the first movie, with almost none of the spirit and originality that made the first movie so fun to watch.
  16. Back in middle school, I once sent a net send to the entire school that said "Have a great summer!" They brought me in the principal's office and accused me of hacking. I got off the hook by saying I had no idea what I was doing.

Sorta, but I never saw the evidence. The guys who found the site weren't the "best" of character. i.e. They'd poop on your front door steps given the chance.

  17. Uggh. So not looking forward to seeing The Hangover: Part Two tonight.

  18. Given the extremely competitive nature of every other Valve content, I'd say we'll be getting some excellent test chambers out of this. Win/Win!
  19. Really? I mean, the second game's combat isn't amazing, but I felt like it was light-years ahead of the first game. Especially since he isn't waving his sword above his head like a dumbass.
