I listened to it while I was walking my dogs and enjoyed it. It was long but it didn't flag at all and had no awkward pauses where people were trying to think of something to say. It didn't feel like it dragged on at all and actually didn't feel too long while listening. You all were very listenable and had 'life in your voices' (can't think of a better way to phrase that, sorry!). I didn't actually miss the lack of game talk, and I liked the way it was mentioned as part of a natural conversation (like playing the GBA in the toilet cubicles) rather than being stilted 'discussion points' which can make the flow quite choppy. hmm, as for improvements? I can imagine the length of it would put some people off from giving it a go - I don't know if I'd have bothered if I didn't like your posts from here and had instead come to it blind. While I definitely don't think you should force more game chat into it if more popped in naturally I wouldn't complain Overall though, well done - I'll be downloading the next one for sure.

So jealous. I paedo'd a game shop with my 3DS in my bag and didn't get any hits and I'm not moving to Tokyo just to get spot passed! I wish Nintendo would let it work over the internet I think they forget most places don't have the required density of consoles for it to be useful. :/

Maybe they think it is traditional in the UK to toast all your missives with a drink to wish it bon voyage.

Hopefully more confused than upset. I'm just picturing a 15year old with a quavering lip, "pikachu... where are you...?"

The only point it gets across is that ISPs shouldn't be responsible for what their users are doing (which I agree with). The rest of it was bat-whoopsie insane. He sounds like he doesn't believe companies should have any protection for what they have created at all - that after they have spent time and money creating something anyone should then have free access to it. Could he then explain exactly why a company should make anything in the first place? How can a sane person not believe that a person/company that expends time and or resources to create something that you want and do not have the ability to create yourself you swap your time/resources for it. In the modern world exchanges are usually standardised with money instead of exchanging everything directly. The author of that article 'enrages me' thinking a company shouldn't be entitled to profit for what it creates

I just watched Orphans of the Storm. At 3 hours long I nearly didn't bother but I'm glad I did. It was enjoyable and I love the acting in silent movies. I should watch some more of them but I'd have no clue where to start.

I just click on a new song just before the current one ends so I never get any adverts.

I've never played a Zelda game I didn't love and I think the new art style looks beautiful so I really can't imagine not loving it. Having said that Nintendo do seem to be trying their best to annoy loyal customers of late. I agree the controller looks awesome and the bundle is actually the cheapest way to get a motion plus controller, which I don't own at the moment. Only thing is my boring white nunchuck is going to look dreadful drear plugged in to it.

My parents have pre-ordered this for Christmas, which means I CAN'T PLAY IT UNTIL CHRISTMAS!!!

that... thing... is awful. If they bring out a new redesigned console I will not be happy. If they give all existing customers a free add on pad I will not be happy. If they offer all existing customers a new redesigned console and move all their games over I will still not be happy. This fiasco just shows that they had no confidence in the 3DS hardware to begin with so they shouldn't have released it. You may not have liked the power or design of older consoles but you always felt that Nintendo released what they wanted to and had solid reasons for their decisions. They just seem to have completely lost their way and I can't help but have lost a little faith in them. I actually feel more sad than angry.

http://www.metro.co.uk/tech/games/874412-dead-island-review-happy-trails Not a very +ve review. it does say the coop can be fun, but not local. If you haven't heard of the site it's my favourite - they don't just throw anything up then check on the facts later and the reviews are always very fair.

Ocarina of Time 3D. I've started the game a couple of times on the N64 and Gamecube. I really enjoyed it but I don't think it stood out as better than any of the other games in the series, maybe you had to play it at the time as it was such a leap from what else was out there at the time. I'm glad I can say I've played it now though as I think it's one of those games that everyone should play. I thought the 3D remake was very good too not just the 3D which I loved and really felt added to the experience but also the improvement in textures which you don't really appreciate until you look at some of the N64 videos online - it's quite shocking! Going to have a go at the original Zelda next since I just got it for free on 3DS so I can see where it all started.

I'm reading I Capture The Castle at the moment - I'm really loving it. Cassandra is really vividly drawn you can picture her as you are reading.

I needed textbooks for all my subjects at university and I'm in the UK, so I guess it is more of a course by course rather than country thing.

2.6GB? poo. Does anyone want my beta code? I'm not 100% sure if it's linked to my account but you're welcome to try it.
-
did you see how big the download for the beta is? It's a bit near the start of the month to blow my broadband allowance.
-
were you not online at all before the 12th? if you set up your friend code before then or updated the system software you should be registered too

I'm starting to think publishers won't be happy until we all sign over our wages directly into their accounts and they'll supply us with games if and when they choose.

I downloaded my free games today and found the process was really easy and quick to complete. Overall, I'm pleased with the games offered. I certainly think they chose a good selection - you can't say they fobbed you off with second rate tat. I don't think they could have done anything more (except release it at that price to begin with!)

I have tried several times to like tofu, but I can only eat a few pieces before my gag reflex kicks in.

I wish British retailers would pull their fingers out so I could pre-order this. It is exactly the bundle I was hoping for.
