Has The X Files started in the US yet? If not is anyone going to watch it? I hope it's not disappointing. II can hardly remember what I thought about it by the end of the previous run.

They've said I can get a partial refund (only about ten quid) or send it back which I'm not sure I can be bothered sorting out as I really don't want to have to work out another phone to get. I'll probably just keep it and have a permanent knot of annoyance in my stomach every time i think about it or use it until i get a new one in a year or so. I've only just had a massive hassle to get a refund on a different faulty phone i got for Christmas. I'm so done.

Doesn't it drive you insane? I suppose it may be more annoying for me with my non-existent mobile network reception. Sounds like there may be little point sending my phone back as it won't be something they could fix or even replace the phone for. Why's technology so universally disappointing. Connecting to WiFi is something even my 3ds can manage so why is it too much for Google to work out.

So is it a bit like myst then?

Does anyone here have problems staying connected to WiFi on android (5.1)? Seems after googling it there are a lot of people saying they have the problem and lots of articles telling you to wait for Google to fix it or giving rubbish generic solutions like restarting your router. Anyone found any solutions that actually work?

I feel the opposite way about the two of them than I believe most people do. It was from watching that documentary film with them in. I felt fish was just trying to make the best game he could and events conspired against him and from outside the film (twitter etc) maybe he didn't convey he passion he had for his game in the best way but it was obvious he cared about what he was doing. Blow just came across as supremely arrogant: less passionate about the game itself and saw it just as a vessel for his own talent which he would happily have poured into anything that gave him the recognition he believed he so richly deserved.

Maybe it's because I already don't like him but the first paragraph makes it seem like he thinks he's above such petty things as how to actually sell his game, especially as he seems to have been working with Sony as he was at their conference and is on their console first. The second, that we should just be grateful that he is letting the great unwashed experience his genius. But I will readily admit that I am predisposed to be annoyed by anything he says and had this come from a developer I liked it may have come across as cute for me.

You can redownload games on the same console, yes. When you delete the software in data management section of settings it gives you the option to create save data backup, or if it feels safer for you (it would for me) under data management there is an option to create save data backup before you delete it. It creates a file on the sd card which you can put in your computer if you want an extra copy. You wouldn't need a cable for that but you should power down your console before you take the card out not just have it in sleep mode.

I can't say I love tumblr but it's something to scroll through when I'm bored. Had a recent spate of spam followers but that seems to have died down now. To me it seems easy enough to avoid the drama but then I tend to keep myself to myself

Maybe they play games in the store, or organise/advertise a regular night somewhere local? The old Games Workshop by us used to do that and my brother went along to those many moons ago. Of course that would also depend on how keen you are playing with strangers though you'd get to play a wider variety of games, I'd imagine.

I don't remember the censoring when I watched it perhaps they did that later as I watched when it first came out. I'd say it's worth a watch as its not too long but I don't think it was great and if it was a long season or several seasons I wouldn't definitely be able to say it was worth getting in to.

I normally turn my consoles on/off with the controller so was quite shocked when I first used the button on my XO and it roared into life. This isn't my video and I don't know if you can tell but it comes from the console itself, not the TV. Can't decide if it's pretty cool or completely dumb but it's nice to have little extra touched like that,sort of like the extra gamecube startup screens.

I know a few of us enjoyed lifeline when it was reduced on android. It's the free app of the week on iTunes So even better to give a go of now if you weren't convinced before

Next up is thinking of a new name of the general gaming chat thread, it really annoys me I gave it the same name as the... Sub forum(?) it's in.

I'm sure I mentioned this before but the reason I don't play co op is I don't want to be the weak link and let people down but I thought I'd give it a go in ac unity and boy was that not the problem. Even though the person I was with had a high rank they did nothing except wander around aimlessly I literally had to find and do everything. The only thing they did is cause a fracas in the main square so all the crowd left and I had no one to hide amongst.

For a second there I thought "The Crown Sizzle" is a weird name for a programme.

IT'S the only film I could bear jack black in so there is hope for you TME. Possibly because you don't have to look at his annoying face and only his annoying voice.

I'm on memory sequence 3 of assassins creed unity and not been bothered by any too major bugs, more glitches I'd say like people standing on top of chairs and one eagle dive I whacked straight into a roof and slid down it into the haywain. Didn't cause me any damage though as it registered as a dive not a drop. Speaking of which I love the new parkour up/parkour down buttons and than you don't automatically climb stuff just because you're running. Overall I'm loving it so far, glad to be back to the city based gameplay as I ought we'd had too many of he shipping ones in a row. Will look forward to future ones of those again in a few games time. Eta: the combat is substantially harder in this one dodge and parry seem to need much better timing and I have died several times from a single thrusting stab. Definitely more keen to stay out of combat in this one which I suppose makes sense really since you're supposed to be an assassin. Also, I hunk the guards were a bit too blind and dumb in the old games but they seem to be able to see me looking suspicious from halfway across Paris in this one, running from the other side of walls etc.
