IT'S the only film I could bear jack black in so there is hope for you TME. Possibly because you don't have to look at his annoying face and only his annoying voice.

I'm on memory sequence 3 of assassins creed unity and not been bothered by any too major bugs, more glitches I'd say like people standing on top of chairs and one eagle dive I whacked straight into a roof and slid down it into the haywain. Didn't cause me any damage though as it registered as a dive not a drop. Speaking of which I love the new parkour up/parkour down buttons and than you don't automatically climb stuff just because you're running. Overall I'm loving it so far, glad to be back to the city based gameplay as I ought we'd had too many of he shipping ones in a row. Will look forward to future ones of those again in a few games time. Eta: the combat is substantially harder in this one dodge and parry seem to need much better timing and I have died several times from a single thrusting stab. Definitely more keen to stay out of combat in this one which I suppose makes sense really since you're supposed to be an assassin. Also, I hunk the guards were a bit too blind and dumb in the old games but they seem to be able to see me looking suspicious from halfway across Paris in this one, running from the other side of walls etc.

Go to Xbox.com/gameswithgold and "buy" them there and then on your XO dashboard go to my games and apps and they'll show on the right hand side under ready to install.

I watched Tangled for the second time yesterday. it was better than I remembered it. In fact I would put it on the list of films I'd happily watch whenever I saw it on TV and am even contemplating a 3D blu ray purchase.

My copy of assassin's creed unity finally arrived today. Post over Christmas is a nightmare.

I wouldn't have minded a second spoiler and did indeed expect it too but that first spoiler would have been depressing not sad which wouldn't be the right tone, I don't think. I enjoyed it overall and maybe would have liked a bit more drama but it's as much as I could have expected/hoped for realistically. Did you ever see Gosford Park? It's a film by the same writer if you like downton you should like that.

When you all talk about the ending you went for in a game (e.g. Fallout, mass effect) do you look up the ending options beforehand and head for a particular one? Doesn't that spoil it for you as most people seem to want to avoid story spoilers

I was about to buy the game tomorrow. The re elected version that includes gat out of hell. Is the rest of the game worth playing ?never had a saints row game before so not sure what to expect

I look forward to the breakup song with baited breath

It's a bit like steam green light from what I read. At the moment hey have ark: survival evolved, layers of fear, sheltered and the long dark. Guess there's only one way for me to find out what's up with them

Anyone* play the game previews? Are they time limited (e.g. you can only play them For 10 hours or for one week after first playing) or can you play them as long as they are in the programme? I.e. Until they're (near) release. *Does anyone even have an XO apart from TME and me?

To be fair, I don't think Nintendo are that clear on how it will work either. I just came in to say I did not get a single gaming related present this year. Feel a bit sad about it, though as I type this I am setting up my Xbox one so... One thing about its setup up which slightly disappoints me but does not surprise me is that my limited edition is blue but all the on screen setup pictures are of the standard black console. It's one of the reasons I very rarely change a characters default outfit as I hate it when you enter a cut scene. And your outfit changes.

What are you listening to now?
TheFlyingGerbil replied to Chronixal's topic in Entertainment Exchange
Ah, birdhouse in your soul... Loved that song when I was young. had it on a 'now that's what I call music' on vinyl record. Makes me feel old, hehe. Also always can't not think of this which is one of my favourite bits of pushing daisies which is one of my very favourite programmes. -
I'd eat my chips plain sooner than ruin them with ketchup. I love mayonnaise or coleslaw with chips, but nothing beats chips, cheese and gravy.

Well, one of you clearly owes me two hundred quid then.

Don't kink shame me. Seriously though, got a good deal on it (£220 new) and I knew I'd crumble sooner or later may as well be now as I'm sick of looking at them. Surprised I got it before the ps4 which is the one I want more but there are no bundles with that that grab me since I missed the 1tb watch dogs+syndicate one.of Course I don't want to actually set it up until my broadband is working so I've got a frustrating wait ahead of me.
-
Urgh. Just found out won't have broadband until 21st of December. Flip me. All have to get my internet fix at break times in work. That is not much cop. Also should point that although no reception isn't to do with population, no 4g is and its also why we have no full fibre broadband and so have to keep a landline.
-
You are all correct that I have poor reception where I live. Texts seem to be the last thing to stop working as reception gets worse. It's mostly to do with the location of our house/topography of the area more than population density And normally I can do everything else over WiFi. Fantastically at the moment we just changed phone/broadband to BT and they've messed something up so we have no landline and no broadband either at the moment which is a bit pants.

I always thought bangs sounds too dramatic a word just for having your hair cut above your eyes. Mind you the reaction some people have to getting it done maybe it's not dramatic enough
-
Interesting. Thanks.
-
Interesting? Or another under utilised second screen.
-
How much of a problem would it be to play fallout 4 never having played a previous one?
-
Yes we have standardised spoon measurements. It's the only thing in most British recipes that's not grams or mililitres. I guess because they're too small to weigh accurately on home scales.

Ni No Kuni may be my favourite RPG, and I was not expecting a sequel. I'm really happy about this news.
