  1. Here's the video. I think Link looks like the things from Dark Crystal. I'm looking forward to this game it feels very zelda-y. BUT I hope that means they go a bit more off track for the WIi U Zelda. <><><> WWHD caused a 685% lift in Wii U sales in the UK, which I know is only possible because of the low start point but it does show there is hope for the Wii U and people will buy it if there are games people want to play on it. The game ended up at number 4 in the chart which is pretty decent too, must mean most the people with a Wii U got it.
  2. I wish I'd given that show more of a chance. I lost interest after a few episodes and gave up but I've heard several people say they liked it. I've just seen an advert for the last series of Misfits. I thought the last series was the last series? I thought that one was less good than the rest so I hope they manage to pick it up and leave on a high.
  3. If you welcome the cat further in to your life you have to be prepared for it to disappear if it does belong to someone else and they, for example move from the area. You could put photos up of it asking if it belongs to anyone. If there;s no response you should feel safer getting more attached.
  4. it's a fixed route, with several fixed bus stops along the route. you tell him which stop on the route you want to get off at. he charges accordingly.
  5. I think this may be my favourite projection mapping art thingy I've seen.
  6. why ya gotta make me feel
  7. The Beeb has found some lost Doctor Who episodes. There's a total of 106 missing episodes which is more than I realised I wonder if they are all out there somewhere, and whether they'll be found or not. Has anyone watched any of the very old episodes (e.g. the William Hartnell ones?) It's scary to think of all the socially and culturally important programming the BBC destroyed over the years. I assume that everything is kept nowadays, but I wonder when they started wit that.
  8. yeah, I thought the director''s cut was out ages ago, just the wii u one wasn't out yet.
  9. i thought deus ex had been out for ages?
  10. sandwich toaster is the correct term here in the UK too, Mr. GOH!, toastie (maker) is the colloquial term. @Mali. My electric toothbrushes have always lasted several years, so unless you want it sat in a cupboard that long on the off chance would give the other toothbrush to your Mum if she wants it.
  11. Well, I can't speak for everyone else, but I'm doing great. Welcome to the site - hope you have fun and stick around.
  12. WWHD only took 6 months to port. In Nintendo time that is the blink of an eye. Kind of sneaky how Nintendo made it seem like it took ages - probably an attempt to justify the price they're charging for it. £50 on the eShop, that's £10 more than Pikmin 3 at release :/ I just get so frustrated with them sometimes. They seem determined to squander any good will anybody may have left for them.
  13. Not sure how many times I'm going to end up hearing this before Halloween.
  14. You should try buying music from them instead. When I had a problem with my card the sale went through and I downloaded it fine, but they never charged me
  15. oh, I misunderstood what Dean meant, I though Amazon was trying to get him to buy two copies to use on two different kindle apps/devices not opining on the restrictions of DRM in general. I just stripped the DRM out of a book I bought on Kobo and copied it over to my Kindle. I know it's not legal but I did buy the book in digital, so I do not feel bad about it. I'm sure you could do the same thing for your nook. I also don't really think that this is a problem - Amazon doesn't pretend you can do what you want with the books when you buy them. Just make the choice that's right for you and be informed whenever you buy something.
  16. I've nearly always found the kindle books cheaper than the paperback, maybe I'm just lucky? Also, I don't get the purchase another copy problem? Do you have both devices linked to your amazon account? My mum's kindle is linked to my amazon account, and we;ve both read the some of the same books no problems. I've also read one book over multiple devices without problems (my kindle and my phone)
  17. I updated my Wii U today so thought I may as well give Super Mario Bros. Wii U another go. It is exactly as frustrating as I remember it. I've just finished the tower in the Layer Cake Desert and I've only got 12 lives and already given up on getting the three big coins on each level - pretty lame, if I do say so myself. I think the most annoying thing is that you can't exit a level and the absolutely bonkers saving system which is barely more advanced than using passwords. Quick Save may be handy if you have to stop playing but is no use for retrying levels. I don't think I've really enjoyed a Mario game since Galaxy and this ones putting me of trying 3D World as that seems more along the lines of these new games than the 64/sunshine/galaxy line.
