The Wolf of Wall Street I never got around to this one because three hour movies are an increasingly hard sell for me, but my friend insisted we watch it when I told him I'd never seen it so we did. It was a lot funnier than I thought it would be, at least in a very dark black comedy sort of way. Watching these guys spiral down into the depths of depravity and hedonism was really something to behold at times, and it kept the movie from getting boring. My only real problem with it is the ending.

Are you looking at the PS4 version? It's hard to say, honestly. With the PC version I'd say there's no risk because Blizzard is known for continued support on their PC titles which means it'll be getting regular updates and new content, and they've already said all new maps, modes, and characters will be free to everyone. With the PS4 though I'm not really sure. I'm sure Blizzard would still like to give out everything for free, but in the past I've heard things about Microsoft and (maybe?) Sony frowning on giving out massive content updates over their networks without charging anything for it. I don't know if they still take this stance today but it might be something to look into.

I'm playing it on PC, bro. I haven't been on recently, though.

Honestly the footage did not really impress me. Yeah, it's a big open world, but there's so much empty space that I feel like it will quickly get dull.

And got the platinum. Time to go back to finishing Witcher 3!

Finally beat Odin Sphere. Feels good to finally finish it. I'm going to try to get the platinum on this one since I already have the majority of the trophies.

I'm with Cowboy on this one. Watch_Dogs was such a colossal disappointment--not to mention such a downgrade from the trailers in both graphics and gameplay--that I'm not about to trust another Ubisoft trailer anytime soon. Even if the second game is better than the first, it would have to be a hell of a lot better to get me interested. The first game was as bland as dry toast.

Odin Sphere is so much better on the ps4. On top of prettying up the sprites and fixing the framerate, they also completely redid the skill system, gave you the ability to make programmable macros for active skills (think Street Fighter), added a bunch of new midbosses, added a new item box and a traveling chef so you can cook on the go, balanced the exp gains, got rid of the stamina requirement for normal attacks, and made the alchemy and items easier to work with. If you still want to play the original version, though, all you have to do is pick Classic Mode in the main menu. THIS is how an HD remake should be done. I loved this movie so I went out of my way to get the Target version with extra bonus stuff.

I never actually finished this game on the PS2 because the framerate problems killed it for me, but that's been fixed now and from what I hear they updated the combat system too so it's less button-mashy. I'm looking forward to finally getting into this one.

Popstar: Never Stop Never Stopping. I hate to say "If you like X you'll like this" but this is very much a Lonely Island movie. It's a spoof of those unbearably pretentious concert films like the one Justin Bieber did. However, they wisely realized that they can't just string a bunch of music videos together so there is also a plot about Connor trying to revitalize his career after his new album flops. It made me laugh several times but I imagine this might be one of those love-it-or-hate-it movies simply based on the format.

A "selection" of music, they say. Why don't they ever just give you the whole album? You're already paying 90 dollars for this shit. Why would I be interested in an incomplete album?

Was looking for deals on the new Doom but found this for 5 bucks on cdkeys. Figured why not.
