God, Joker and Deadshot look worse every time I see them. After Jesse Eisenberg turned out to be exactly as bad as everyone knew he would be, I have no hope whatsoever that these actors will surprise us like Heath Ledger did.

I think I'm finally getting the hang of XCOM. For starters, I decided to prioritize satellites and satellite uplinks over absolutely everything else. Excluding a few suits of armor, a MEC trooper, and a med pack, I didn't buy ANYTHING else except for things I would need in order to get more satellites. I also skipped over laser weapons entirely because they just get replaced by plasma anyway. Perhaps most importantly, I am procrastinating the hell out of the main story missions. I haven't even done the alien base yet and I don't intend to until I've got the best weapons and equipment I can possibly have without advancing the story. I lost the UK in the process but fuck 'em. I feel like I might actually beat the game this time unless it throws a really nasty curveball at me in the later acts.

Why are there so many people on the internet who don't know the difference between predecessor and successor? It triggers my inner grammar nazi.

I'm trying to use Nvidia's game sharing feature that is apparently a thing now, but when I open GeForce experience there is no share button in the corner, only the shadowplay button. I'm positive that I'm using the newest version of GeForce too, so I don't understand why I can't use the feature. Anyone else using an Nvidia card who can confirm whether the button says share or shadowplay? Edit: Well I got it working except that the feature isn't supported on any of the games I'd want to share so it kinda defeats the whole point.

Is there such a thing as a program that will trick a game with local only co-op into thinking that an online friend is actually on the same machine with you? I have indie games that I would love to play with friends but local play simply isn't an option for us and so few of these games have online play. I know that such a thing exists for emulators legitimately purchased retro consoles, so you'd think it would be possible for some of these less demanding PC games too.

Damn, Boku no Hero Academia premiered too? I totally overlooked it with all of the Jojo hype. And apparently One Punch Man got several new special episodes on top of that? How did I not hear about any of this?!

Well that would explain it, but it can sure be confusing to put out two demos with completely different styles of gameplay.

I'm not really sure what to make of this demo. The combat appears to have completely changed and I'm not sure it's for the better. The D-pad is for weapon and item slots now, so does that mean no more traditional menu commands a la Kingdom Hearts? That seems like it would severely limit your options unless I'm missing something. The dodge roll is appreciated and the lock-on is better, but I was left with mixed feelings whereas with the last demo I was totally on board.

I restarted again, so I'm on my fourth playthrough now. I couldn't get past the alien base with the resources I had. I was doing okay until the God damn chryssalids showed up.

Last playthrough I couldn't keep any of them below 3 bars. Panic just rises faster than I can keep up with it.

Yes, I'm on normal. The actual fights weren't too hard at first but it's the base building and panic that keeps fucking me over.

Ugh, I'm trying to finally get through XCOM: Enemy Within so I can move on to XCOM 2, but I'm getting my ass kicked so hard that it's just getting stressful and frustrating. I forgot how damn difficult this game was, and I'm beginning to wonder if I really want to keep subjecting myself to this.

Finally got Deadpool out of my backlog. Gameplay was just passable, really, but the writing was entertaining enough to make up for it. This is bearing in mind, of course, that I bought it on sale a long time ago for less than 20 dollars. That last level was also a real son of a bitch. It was hard to the point of being tedious and frustrating.

I sorta get where Daniel is coming from. Even if you don't HAVE to do everything in these big open-world RPGs, sometimes it just feels so daunting when you're faced with everything that's laid out in front of you. I remember when I was playing Dragon Age: Inquisition I was stuck in the Hinterlands for days on end and there came a point when I started thinking "Fuck, I'm never going to finish this." I could have just skipped the sidequests, but what if one of them gave me something important or useful!? I can't take that chance!

I'm sure you will be able to find one. I mean, it's a Sony accessory. This stuff doesn't exactly fly off the shelves, and this is coming from a guy with a move AND the PS Camera.
