  1. Yeah, pretty much. That's what I expect.
  2. I tried watching the Venture Bros season premiere and it's been so long that I instantly went "What the fuck is even happening right now?!". Figured I might as well rewatch season 4. Start season 4 premiere, same fucking thing. So I guess I need to rewatch from the start. I'm alright with that. :D

Venture Bros is hand-drawn. That's why it takes so long.

As someone who watched it since the premiere and wondered what the fuck I had just seen (imagine watching a show you've never heard of where the very first scene is a naked dude killing people with his clothes and breaking arms in his ass) before it clicked I can say that it's very off-putting at this point.

Well, I meant off-putting in the sense of getting back right in the middle of it after such a long break. But what you're saying is also very true. The show didn't really click for me until the third season. So far, season 1 is MUCH funnier than I remembered it to be because I just wasn't sure what the hell I was watching the first time.

  3. Ridiculous story, yes. But splitting a game in two and charging you twice? Yeah, he can go fuck himself if that's what happens.
  4. Yeah, I expect it will mainly be a standalone release. It would just be cool for them to make upgrade an option. I honestly don't expect it to be happen, though.
  5. Talked about this with Hakidia/Krieger/Grandad earlier, actually. He seemed to think it would be a separate game and linked me an article from 2 months ago. I thought it was assumed that GZ was simply the first chapter, like MGS4's Act 1 or something. I figured that "Ground Zeroes" was just their way to show off the engine and gameplay before actually revealing MGS5 itself and is not an actual game on its own. Would be ridiculous to release two separate games and go "This + this = MGS5 lol".
  6. Hahaha, yeah, I think you only recently played it, right? Personally, I was itching to do a new playthrough soon but now I think i'll wait. I really hope it's going to be a DLC upgrade similar to how you can upgrade Civ V to Gold Edition. I'll be double dipping if it's a separate release anyway but that would be ideal. Especially if it removes that damn Missing Link entry from my library!
  7. Don't know if it's already been mentioned but I just realized the new PS Eye isn't included with the PS4. That seems weird. I would've expected them to try and push it more, like Microsoft is doing with Kinect. The only problem with Move was that no one did anything with it, presumably because it seemed like no one owned the damned thing. Seems like a missed opportunity. By ensuring that every PS4 owner has one, they could get some solid support for it. Now it looks likely that things are going to stay pretty much the same, which is a shame. It's a pretty good controller...
  8. I'm not hung up over the voice change either, it doesn't bother me anywhere near as much as the new Sam Fisher voice does. But I still feel Kiefer's wrong for it. He's doing a great job from what I've seen but, and maybe it's because I was a huge 24 fan, but his voice just sounds wrong to me. Too recognizable, in a bad way.
  9. What are you talking about? That's exactly what I said! ... jerk!
  10. I never asked for this...
  11. Goddamn, that looks incredible. I have a feeling that, much like MGS4 before it, the day MGS5 comes out will be the day I'll be buying a PS4. I'll be able to do without one right up until that point.
  12. Yeah, I think reboot is used as a buzzword here. It sounds like a prequel more than anything. The original is nowhere near iconic enough that a reboot would necessarily stick with Faith and that specific tattoo. Not sure why they'd go that route but it's more Mirror's Edge so I'll take it.
  13. I thought the same thing. Does it really happen with that same level of detail in GTA4? You see him actually put his hand up to close it. It's been a while since I played GTA4 so it's quite possible but that kind of detail doesn't usually jump out at me unless it's pretty rare. I also really loved the sound and feel of the bullets going through windshields.
  14. Well, you really shouldn't be pre-ordering anything this far in advance, anyway. Especially not when it's only just been revealed and you've seen less than 10mins of gameplay total...
  15. So not Mass Effect, then?
  16. To be fair, they have fucking TV on their side.
  17. Man, Sony fucking killed it. The guys at MS must be scrambling pretty hard right about now.
  18. This one is weird. Only realized after the fact that it's supposed to be an RPG. Looks sweet, though. And I'm a sucker for the Tom Clancy license, so they had me there.
  19. Not a big TMNT fan personally but this looks like a fun brawler. Fighting reminds me of the Batman games, which is a good thing if it's anywhere near that good.
  20. Word is Rainbow Six Patriots was scrapped completely and people working on it have been reassigned.
  21. They always deliver on that front.
  22. I'm just glad they didn't ditch the sterile visual design for the city. I really loved that look.
  23. So far this is the best looking game to have been revealed, imho. Looks pretty damn great and I'm not usually one to get excited about multiplayer-focused games.
  24. I personally loved Mirror's Edge to death, but yeah, it's not like it was the greatest thing ever. It was just so unlike everything else.
